It’s a nice hotel with great ambience, good location, ample parking and courteous staff. However for the price they charged I was surprised there was no free breakfast. It is by loyalty tiers which means some get it while others don’t. The coffee maker in the room was dusty when I opened it. Guess people who stay here don’t brew coffee in their rooms. Room service was great though.

We organized a wedding reception for my daughter and son-in-law at Princeton Marriott at Forrestal for our friends and family as a celebration party. The reception was EXCEPTIONAL! Lori the event manager is a delight to work with. She is outstanding. her attention to details is impeccable. and she has great suggestions regarding layout of the room, the table decorations, and video audio. I brought my own speakers but it has a snafu. Lori came to rescue with her speaker. it worked well! this event wont be possible without her. I want to give my kudos to Mo(spelling?). He is so kind as to bring out two lights to color the dancing floor. Very thoughtful! My thanks go to Heidi our bartender. She served with kindness and smile. Her presence there made the event so pleasant. The wine and drink selections are excellent. The dinner buffet was delicious. I have been to many high end restaurants. this dinner buffet is on the same level as the food from upscale restaurants. the wedding cake is great - I love the freshness and the strawberry jam that added a lot of flavor. Overall 5 out of 5. very happy with the staff and the quality of service, food and the venue.

I was here for a night while in town. This is a unique Marriott property. It’s sort of a combination of a lodge blended with normal Marriott appointments very cute, decorated for the holidays. this has actually one of the nicest clubs I’ve ever been in at Marriott but unfortunately it’s not fully open. It’s only open a few days a week as far as the normal hot foods at night breakfast in the morning so depending when your status upon check-in, they give you a $30 voucher for the restaurant in the morning for breakfast which I did get and that was actually really good. I had a really good goat cheese omelette there, but back to the club it was really nice. It’s a shame that they didn’t have hot food and stuff at night. I don’t know if it’s just because of the time of the year there’s not a lot of people here or if it’s as I’ve run across a few times across the country. This year is just pure staffing. The gym here is nothing it’s like two rooms. Combined. Couple pieces of equipment not very good. Definitely not up to Marriott standards in my opinion have a heated indoor pool and a hot tub in the lobby area as well as the bar. All sort of open to one another again really nice that sort of lodge carries across the property and I grabbed some wings the night I was here I got in late and I just didn’t feel like eating anything. Big and I got to say the wings were absolutely amazing. I asked for them crispy probably the best wings I’ve had any Marriott they were absolutely crispy hand down kudos to the staff and the staff on that so definitely some positives as well as some negatives. If I was in the area again I would definitely stay here. I would just hope that the next time the MC would be fully operational as it was beautiful.

Had an amazing experience stay here on Aug 12th ! It’s a hidden gem in Princeton. The hotel is very beautiful and in a secluded environment. The staff is so friendly. Having gold status, they upgraded my room to a suite. We were celebrating a birthday and they surprised us with a bottle of champagne and cheese and fruits tray which made our day. The rooms are nice, clean and quiet. The bathroom was very spacious. The surrounding environment is beautiful and has lots of space to walk around in the green. The indoor pool is nice but we could not use it. Would stay here again without thinking.

Lovely property in midst of beautiful location of Princeton. Very conveniently located, has lovely walking trails around.. the property is surrounded by forest and I was pleasantly surprised to see deer in the property. Rooms are well lit, spacious and comfortable. Lots of conference rooms, meeting rooms and sit outs. Extremely suited for large conferences meetings and functions.. food options are limited and they could do more on food varieties on the menu

Nice hotel with restaurant but needs updating in furniture badly. A couch in the lobby most of the guests had trouble getting out of. The service is excellent. A friendly and accommodating staff! ( we were there in a wedding block) **NOTE- if you cannot lift your leg high you cannot use the Bath/Shower lol. Seriously!

Don't forget to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. This website will compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is the best rated in the area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't be let down. Traveled and stayed here foe a business conference. Staff was able to check me in early and provided good directions to conference room location. Bar and restaurant were great, no complaints. Clean rooms, quiet at night, located tucked back off the highway but still with convenient access. Would stay again.

Excellent mid-tier hotel in Princeton area with M club for qualified Marriott members. Solid bar and restaurant atmosphere and food quality. If you're already thinking about a Courtyard stay then stay here.

Charming hotel. Nice looking, warm pool, although I didn't go in it. Bar area looked nice. The lounge has a good breakfast, happy hour snacks, and desserts for members.

It's a huge place with some cool amenities but not close to town. The room was very small and outdated. No USB ports anywhere. We had a bad night's sleep because the mattress was hard and flat with no cushioning at all. Just mattress cover and sheet. So uncomfortable and not enough pillows.

Stayed at this hotel for a work conference. I was here for 2 nights & 3 days. Staff was on point throughout the conference. Everyone loved the food, and the convenient location to nearby shops & other restaurants is nice. Beds were comfortable and the atmosphere was nice & the hotel overall was pleasant. Would recommend if your staying in the Princeton area.

I read a couple reviews once I arrived to my room at this Marriot hotel. I should have read the reviews before booking. One of the reviews noted “it’s over priced”, I AGREE!!! I hope my review doesn’t get taken down. I know some reviews can hurt business, however it’s reviews like mine and others that will help the business improve. I’m not sure why ppl continue to book this hotel because it is antique, but antique old (has seen better days) It’s dated, needs some upgrades. It has a musty smell, I don’t think this hotel is the Marriot standard. There has been recently some news about tick bites from insects. Coincidentally I had a bug in my room that I don’t think it’s a tick but it is a bug and it came out of the A/C vent by the bathroom. When I looked up to the vent it had spider webs, scary to think this is how we go to sleep. Also my room was a couple blocks away from the entrance (quite a walk) I thought Titanium Elite members get Preferred rooms. Very disappointed in this hotel.

My partner and I stayed here for just three nights, and overall the experience was just alright. Location is absolutely beautiful, the scenery is lovely!! The room was very clean and pretty when we entered it. However… website for booking the room was a bit misleading. It said that we would receive complimentary breakfast, and two tickets to the Grounds for Sculpture. Upon checking in and asking if we would receive said breakfast and tickets, the staff member told us that was not included in our stay and was in another package that they didn’t even have. The website does say though that if you book on Friday, Saturday.. we would receive breakfast and the tickets. Maybe that needs to be removed on the website then, just a thought. For $189 a night- you would presume at least the BREAKFAST could be included. The ice machine had no ice. The room next to us was very loud, and the rooms are not very soundproof. I called and asked a staff member, Kevin, at the front if they could maybe do something.. I hate to be the person to leave a noise complaint, or complain at all… but enough was enough. I was told that security would arrive and check things out. No one came, and I had to ask our neighbors if they could please be quiet. I shouldn’t have had to take that upon myself. Also- the wifi isn’t free! You have to pay at least $13 bucks a night. However- the lobby wifi is free? Make that make sense! Definitely overpriced, and I suppose I understand because of the location. The only thing that was complimentary is that my partner was given a toothbrush for free.

In my most recent stay here, they were overbooked and gave me a makeshift room. The setup was quite strange, with 7 or 8 chairs in the room and a murphy bed, but was comfortable enough. However, the room was bug infested. The first night there were gnats, the next night some flies and spiders were there, and finally on the last night there was a huge brown spider the size of a quarter! My other stay here was uneventful, but I was very disturbed by the second stay and issues that occurred.

I stay here frequently for work and it is always pretty consistent. They have a full service restaurant downstairs. The rooms are standard: bed, desk, chair. The workout room is small for the size of the hotel. Easy parking which is a plus. The only gripe i had is that on a recent stay i came in on a Monday and instead of staying until Thursday, I wanted to check out wednesday. I was giving the standard 48 hours cancellation for wednesday night and they would not grant it. So that was annoying.

This hotel was way overpriced. The service sucked and worst, they wanted you to pay for wifi. At $250 a night, wifi should have been free and a complimentary breakfast. The bartender charged $80 for 4 drinks, one of them was seltzer water. So yeah, this hotel is horrible.

The front desk staff here is amazing. My room was OK. Nothing bad or exceptional. The bed was somewhat too soft, the toilet seat was loose, and there wasn't an exhaust fan in my bathroom (might not be the case for other rooms).

Room were clean and okay. Service was nice. Great employees! I was denied a government rate as active duty military and that was disappointing. I thought they would find a way to give me that rate. I ended up pay more than expected. I would recommend if you're needed to stay in this area.

For the most part, I enjoyed my stay at the Princeton Marriott. The staff greeted us with a smile, they were extremely helpful, and friendly. The food was tasty and the location was truly "nestled" which I enjoyed. My only gripe was the uncomfortable bed, perhaps an update is needed on this?

The customer service was great! I especially appreciated the bellman who proactively offered to deliver our luggage to our room. Jameson promptly retrieved a luggage rack and helped us unload our bags. The only suggestions I have are that the double room offer a microwave as an amenity; and, the location is a little difficult to get to. Overall, I would suggest this hotel for someone who is looking to have a worry-free and comfortable stay in/near Princeton, NJ.

I never leave reviews, however, I find it imperative that everyone understands the terrific experience I had! From the first second I walked in I felt the warmth and comfort of above standard hospitality and professionalism. Despite there being a wedding, a conference and a sporting event, Kevin kept his composure and portrayed nearly perfect guest service skills and was very kind and understanding. The check in process was simple, easy and short. Tomas at the bar/lounge was an excellent server and very accommodating to our needs. The room was fantastic and the view was impeccable. The cleanliness and the feel of the entire hotel was fantastic and I could not stress how much it felt like a home away from home. Alexander from the overnight crew was also very helpful when receiving documentarian regarding my stay and then even when I needed a simple corkscrew. Room service was also another added bonus to the nearly perfect stay. I say nearly perfect because I regret not staying longer to take advantage of all of the amenities at hand. Keep up the great work!!!

Staff was friendly and the main area was very nice however our room was outdated and a little dingy. Sheets were clean and I liked the ability to control temperature in the room however for the price we have stayed at much nicer hotels. The bathroom was small and outdated. No WiFi or breakfast included unless you are a bonvoy member. It is located in a convenient location to drive to several restaurants and attractions so that is a plus. Ample parking available but it is a walk from the main entrance.

A quiet Marriott with plenty of easy parking. Disappointed at a lack of upgrade as a gold elite member despite the hotel being quiet. The room service crew did a good job but we're very loud chatting from very early in the morning. Did not help with the jet lag. A bit remote so you will need a car or uber to get to any other options to eat

Room was outdated, but clean enough. Bathroom and shower was very nice. Pool was outdated but clean. The bar was jam packed and looked like a good time. I'd imagine this place is great for a wedding stay with all the courtyard, patios, and bar available.

Really nice place tucked away back in a quiet wooded area. Great bar and lobby area for lounging around with super friendly staff and the cleanest public area restrooms I’ve seen in many moons. The rooms are basic but very clean and spacious with BIG tv’s and a small fridge. Room Bathroom was very clean and shower had plenty of pressure and was actually over my head @ 6’3”.

This place is clean and quiet, and the food is good. Very good for a relaxing getaway without the frills. My only complaint is that they got rid of their hot tub for no reason, and the check in receptionist gave me a hard time about providing my AAA card even though I entered in all of the card's information in at the time of booking. Overall its a good 3 star hotel at a decent price.

After visiting many hotels to host our guests for our daughters wedding, Princeton Marriott at Forrestal was superior in so many ways! The hotel itself is amazing, from the moment we stepped in, the staff was friendly, and helpful! Anything we needed, we just had to ask and it was taken care of right away! We reserved the Ivy Suite as a hospitality area for our guests to meet and grab a snack. They set the room up to accommodate everyone! The Bridal suite was perfect for our daughter and her bridesmaids to gather to get ready, with multiple hair and make-up artists. It was spacious, with a seating area, a wet bar and an attached bedroom. We also rented the room downstairs for our rehearsal dinner followed by a 100 person welcome event! The bar and restaurant are top notch! They stayed open to cater to our guests. I would say the hotel and it’s employees helped make our dream wedding an epic event!!

We came here as a group of families with kids. As we had checked in, we were told that the pool is not working and we can go to Westin. The receptionist and the room manager were not helpful but also sarcastic and rude addressing the issue we were facing especially after we drove 5 hours to get here with the young kids. I explained we have 2 other families coming and did not know how to handle this. They kept repeating that we can go to another hotel I have been a Marriott club owner and bonvoy member for 20 years now and had never experienced such a bad attitude and customer service. Won’t for sure visit this hotel again but stuck for 2 nights.
