I am from the States and miss BBQ quite a bit. We have tried BBQ places across Australia and this is up there with the best. The beef ribs are amazing and though their sauce could use another couple minutes under the broiler to thicken it up on the ribs, it's good! Their corn bread is authentic southern style and delicious, almost like I make at home, so I could be biased. I do wish they had American style dill pickle spears, though they are hard to find (I can only find them at Costco.) they are great with BBQ. Oh, one last thing, it would be great if they could change the light bulbs to something a little less bright. Right now they are very bright and sterile, you need some welcoming warm light to hide the sauce on your chin and unladylike smacking. 😊

Love this place! Best buffalo wings in Brisbane...no in Queensland! Partnered with a cold root beer and a basket of fries. Perfection. Branched out and got the pit masters combo plate! Serving sizes are great value and service is friendly and fast 😊 I’m a regular for sure!

Long wait. We waited for almost an hour for 3 dishes. We had the Pulled Pork plate. Good size servings. The pork was nice and tender. I had the Hudson chicken wings. Nice finger licking sticky wings. And last but not the least I had the 3 tacos on a wooden board. Well presented and great fillings chicken, beef and pork. My son had the Texas reaper burger and fries.

I've eaten there twice now and their burgers were phenomenal both times. I had a chicken burger the first time and the brisket and blue cheese sauce burger the second time. Absolutely delicious. Buffalo wings are outstanding and the hurricane wings tasted good too. Can not recommend this place enough! If you want to do takeaway, it might help to order online in case there isn't available parking when you want to go.

I've been three times, and it's consistently been good - a huge feed of great quality food, just enough to be very satisfied but not enough to leave you feeling sick. Good service from the staff, a nice ambience with timber and American country music to suit the style. Cocktails are good, nothing special but they go well with the meat, and the sides are excellent quality - tasty slaw, decent chips and I really like the dill in the salad. I recommend the Cue for Two share plate to try everything out - it's good value and just the right size, and everything is tasty. I also recommend the Memphis BBQ sauce, it's delicious.

We went there for dinner on a Friday night. If you are lucky enough, you can park out front ,if not there is a pay carpark across the road behind the Albion Hotel. They were fully book but they added a table outside for us, i highly recommend to book. We had the Cue share plate for 2 and ordered some extra chicken as we wanted to taste all the different meats. Service was great and quick considering they were busy. The toilet is unisex and is excessible by a key at the side of the building. There is a step to enter the restaurant, but if you had a wheelchair, there is plenty of staff to help.. If you like my reviews, please follow me.

Update: still absolutely wicked! The Brisket melts in your mouth and the onion rings were special! BUT so were the sweet potato fries! Oh and the cherry pie? Delectable! So good. Literally the only thing to beat the food was the staff. A fantastic lunch was had! Great place!!! Made a reservation this evening for my wife's birthday as she'd wanted to try here for a while, was not disappointed. Was actually hard to decide between the plates or burgers but so glad we hit the burgers! Wickedly soft brisket and well cooked and perfectly seasoned burger paty. Oh and the loaded fries... Out of control, so good. Just need an excuse to pop back again. Fair warning, be prepared for a little walk for parking. We got lucky tonight but could see how parking maybe hard on a busy night, or catch a train and enjoy some Sierra Nevada on tap.

Overall, it was a great dining experience and value for money. We ordered the Q for 2 with a serve of mac and cheese. The service was on point, and the food arrived promptly. The chips could have been a little crispier but didn't detract from the flavour and tenderness of the meats. Plenty of food for two lads with healthy appetites.

We loved our dinner at Bluegrass bbq! The staff were brilliant, friendly and a good laugh. Food was beyond! Adults and child all happy! Try the brownie too! It’s to die for! We’ll be back!

I got the Southwest Chicken Burger, Corn Bread, Mac n cheese and a Root Beer Float and oh wow, was it special. That burger has definitely taken best spot in my mind, and the cornbread was perfectly moist and sweet. I only wish I got a bit more honey butter with the cornbread, and that the restaurant be a bit more decorated. I like the dark ceilings but it would look a lot nicer if the walls were a dark timber; true American feel. Otherwise absolutely will come back, well done.

Great value on Taco Tuesdays - three tacos for $9! The bean taco was particularly delicious, smoky flavour. My dining partner ordered the Southern fried chicken, which was a huge serve including three sides (for only $20!) and also very tasty. Excellent, friendly service from the staff. Highly recommend this place! 😊

Nice lovely service. Quick and big portions. Good was good, but unfortunately not the best "American" style food I've had, but that comes down to personal taste.

Really impressed. Attended a birthday dinner with family and was delighted with the food and service. My wife was willing to say, maybe the best tacos she has eaten. They also had Sierra Nevada Pale ale on tap which is nice to see rather than the big name beers.

A nice, busy little American BBQ restaurant with a great vibe. We went for Wednesday wings night. Wings were great. Heaps of flavour, the accompanying sauces matched great with the wings. The 3rd Degree wings (hottest on menu) tasted great but really not that spicy. The Hurricane wings were amazing! Keen to visit again and try other menu options.

I have been going to Hudsons for several years now. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. I think the atmosphere is fantastic, the service is exceptional and the food always great! My personal favourite is the $1 Wings Wednesdays, 10 buffalo wings and a basket of fries. 5 well deserved stars to everyone at Hudson Corner.

I grew up eating Carolina bbq and this food made me tear up because it reminded me of home. Really tasty and authentic. The meats are amazing and loved the corn bread. Tried the platter with 5 for friends. Was really filling and struggled to finish

Just ordered a mammoth amount of burgers and wings from Bluegrass and they were all cooked to absolute perfection. This isn't the first time we've order from Bluegrass, there food is always outstanding and the value for money is out of this world. 14 clams for the best Cheeseburger in town..... Get there as soon as you!! You won't regret it. Solid 5 Stars!!

Lovely service and delicious food.

First time visiting and had a great experience. Burgers were really tasty and the wings were even better! Also for any vegans out there, the vegan aioli dipping sauce is really damn good, nothing like I've ever tasted before 🤤 will definitely have to come back again

Amazing food and exceptional customer service! We dined at the Albion restaurant last night with our 2 kids and our waitress Tania was so lovely and went out of her way to make my kids feel comfortable (she also brought them Connect 4 to play with) and she rushed over when my daughter accidentally fell off her chair. We ordered the largest platter which had an awesome variety of food. I especially loved the buffalo wings and pulled pork. We will definitely be back again!!

Amazing little BBQ place. The Hoedown platter was perfect for sharing with four adults with a small amount to take home. Rib bones came out so easily which is a great sign of slow'n'low cooking. Brisket was juicy and packed with flavour. Corn bread was delicious, thick and crumbly. Staff were excellent and attentive. The only issue was that the Key Lime Pie wasn't for sale but we got a slice. You just gotta have it! The brownie with ice cream was the perfect end to dinner.

Been here a couple of times, both for dine in and takeaway, and it has never disappointed me. The meal is a solid feed, flavours are on point, staff are helpful in their recommendations, and the wait time is minimal no matter what time you dine there.

I'm a regular here. The staff are really friendly and the BBQ is delicious with very generous portions. Great beer selection also.

Great service, food and drinks out very quick. BBQ is quite good, especially the sauce. Pulled pork was great, pork ribs a little tough but tasty. Good value kid's meals including dessert.

We really enjoyed the food we got from Bluegrass. We got a bunch of different food to share amongst a group of 6 and it worked out well priced. The brisket, pulled pork and wings were tasty. The only thing that was a let down were the onion rings were waaaayyy too salty. The pick up time wasn't super accurate either and we had to wait about 10-15 mins extra once we arrived.

I'd happily recommend Blue Grass BBQ at Hudon's Corner at Albion to family, friends and the community. The food is fresh and DELICIOUS!!! It's served hot and on time, EVERYTIME! Prices are definitely reasonable. Lots of menu items to choose from with something for everyone. The staff are amazing and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The restaurant is clean and inviting and filled with a lovely atmosphere. We've never been disappointed so would happily recommend for lunch, dinner or a special occasion.

I love this place, I recommend it to everyone. We last went on father's day, and the meals were fantastic. I was a little disappointed however as we booked online for lunch for 6 people and we ended up at a table for 2, but the staff were able to rectify by dragging a 2nd table down.. it was still awkward for my elderly grandparents however as they were a high seated table and chair. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick.

Had via Uber Eats and then went in. Both experiences were great - I recommend the pulled pork if you like a more "traditional" BBQ style rather than a more shredded style. Would recommend

Took the family there. I'll start off by stating that I'm not an expert in this style of dining. The menu read well. The food looked good but I found the brisket burrito and couple of other brisket meals a bit dry and hard to swallow. My son said his burger was OK but nothing too special despite it looking pretty good.

Standout service and delicious food. Pulled pork, chips and the little cucumber side salad were the best out of a fantastic platter. Listen to the waitstaff when they recommend what size platter to get - they know their stuff. Try a flair with a shot (they were happy to serve up an A&W Float with a shot of Sailor Jerry’s).

We came with out a booking and they easily accommodated us. The slow cooked brisket is delicious, as are the Tacos. My son's burger was probably the best burger I have tasted. Overall a great experience.

I will risk it for the brisket. Highly recommend. Great for kids as the kids menu is awesome. Main meals are tasty.

Terrible service, walked in and didn’t get greeted nicely at all. We wanted to sit at a table and the owner was flicking us aside saying don’t sit there, your going to get me a fine, well clean your tables mate. Every table was dirty so couldn’t sit anywhere.

Great hidden gem in Brisbane. Dirty fries were smokey and delicious. Wings had meat and burger was big and decent. Staff were friendly although they could probably use an extra person to help deal with the rush. Kitchen looked chaotic, hope they are okay! Will be back soon.

I can't rate this enough !!! The food was amazing it was cooked to perfection. Portion size was huge !!! Price was reasonable . Service was great very welcoming. When it got busy manager jumped in and helped and was kind to my kids that drew pictures for her. Toilet was clean and usable huge plus for kids . Give this place a go you will not be sorry.

What a disappointment. This afternoon, around 6:30 I went with my boyfriend for some food at your venue just to be surprised from one of your waitress who almost ran to stop us from walking in. She just said she was sorry but we couldn't sit inside as they were full (yes, most of the tables were being used but we could still see some tables available). Not many times have I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome as tonight but the experience turned more humiliating when we saw a couple leaving the restaurant which ment a free table. That, only made us verify that a minimum effort to attend us would have been enough. Food must be good but we didn't even had the chance to try it

The wings and ranch sauce were amazing and flavourful. However, the ribs unfortunately were a let down. They were very tough and hard to eat. The pork ribs were quiet dry and had very little sauce on them. The baby back beef ribs were extremely tough and chewy. The flavour is there for the ribs but definitely needs improving on how it’s cooked. If the meat was tender and falling off the bone, they would be perfect ! Would definitely come back for the wings.

I've been living in front of their cafe for about 3 years! Obviously my first try wasn't impressive, till tonight (after 3 years) I ordered a cheeseburger to pickup and they told me it takes 20 minutes to be ready. I came back to them almost 25 minutes later, and no one even bothered themselves why I'm there!!! I approached the one I ordered my meal, and she said it's not yet ready and come back LATER!!! I asked for their manager for a refund, and he said give me 5 more minutes! He came back to me after almost 10 minutes and handed me the burger without saying any words!!! Do I recommend them? Obviously not!!!

Incredible barbecue with consistently terrible service. The regular rotation of inexperienced waitstaff may mean you have to keep an eye out for your order if they botch it or simply don't give it to you when it's up. Take those little measures for yourself and you won't be disappointed
