Today my husband gotten me a 3 piece chicken tender combo. The chicken and biscuit was good but the coleslaw was spoiled and slimy. I will never go back to churches chicken. They are running a restaurant in our community that's not in their field. They sometimes don't understand what your talking about let alone manage, cook, counting money, running drive threw. Making sure the cold food is made fresh and making sure it's at the right temperature. Making sure the chicken and everything else is made fresh even the grease everyday. Making sure the dining area is clean so customers can feel comfortable when they walk in and with good customer service. Making sure they give customers there correct change and a manager that knows how to manage the restaurant. Someone that knows what there doing.They need an inspector to come there to check everything. They shouldn't even gotten there serve safe certificate, not trying to be mean but it's the truth. Our people love chicken and if they perfect it then they need a whole new staff and a manager. Give it sometime they're going to be shut at the rate their going.

Never had a problem with them until today. Young touching everything with same Gloves on. Then she give me old chicken hard as hell. Customer befor me called her out about the gloves.

Today is Thursday, Feb 16th at 2p.m. Just left there and received cold , old chicken!!! Went back into the store to get fresh chicken and I again was given old, cold, chicken!! We can not let people keep coming into our community serving us garbage. STAY OIT OF THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE SERVICE , COLD, OLD, CHICKEN. THE MANAGER ASKED ME TO TAKE THE OLD CHICKEN BACK HOME WITH ME. THIS PLACE IS BEYOND HORRIBLE!!

Poor customer service. Cashier was very impatient with customers. Cashier went from handling money at the cash register to making food with the same gloves on. Chicken dry. Okra hard and dry. Corn on the cob no flavor. This was my first time here and I will not be back.

Nice clean location. Atleast they were open at 8p.

First they had none of what we actually wanted to order. We settled for the original chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy. We wanted spicy chicken and baked macaroni and cheese neither of which they had. The chicken had no flavor but an amazing crunch. The mashed potatoes had zero flavor, gravy zero flavor, and the biscuit was dry cold and no where near fresh. I won't be back.

My food was old and cold. Asked for fresh fries they were even old and thrown at the bottom of my bag rapped in parchment paper.

For some strange reason all of the stores in the city were bought out and now, no longer serve spicy chicken. The Nashville hot they push out lacks flavor and is beyond messy. Tenders were dry and more like the size of chicken nuggets.

Chicken tenders were small and not seasoned well...Mac and cheese was disgusting, and the person taking the order was rude. I also have a feeling I was cheated out of my money so make sure you ask for a receipt!

I can't believe this happened but while I was in Church's with my husband we were in the middle of placing our order when the customer that was ahead of us with 2 customers between us she had left and came back with a complaint about her food one being she had received a breast not a wing the guy waiting on us took her food removed the breast from her box put it back in the pile of chicken that was for customers to order from and gave her a wing we left along with 4 other customers that was very unsanitary! I will not eat there ever again. 😤

Never have bold and spicy so why is it even an option at this point? The lady wasn't answering the drive thru and then still made me wait and told me I had to come into the lobby to get my chicken. I chose the drive thru for a reason. I probably won't be back to this location.

I've followed this place from their previous location. The chicken doesn't has the church or flavor that I'm use to. Always beautiful service. Today I had a $30 order I get home fries are cooked too hard. The corn on the cob was spoiled. I've tried calling but voicemail is full. Add just a little bit more TLC then you will get your 5 stars.

I had never had eaten Church's before and thought it was very tasty, though high in calories. This restaurant at 15101 Woodward Avenue is in The Shops at Woodward Place, which is anchored by Aldi and located across from the historic former Ford Model T plant in Highland Park, Michigan

I went there at 9:20 and waited for 5 minutes for someone to respond to acknowledge, asking hello several times. I left and came back around 60 seconds later. They had taken the people behind me but then told me they were closed- they close at 10 and it's not even 9:30.

Never give a business a second chance, it should have been correct the first time. If u mess it up once your mostly going to do it again. Terrible food, I was given day old chicken, heavy, oily flavor, and you could tell it was day old and cooked twice the outer skin was almost black, extremely crunchy but overcooked. I order (2) 3 pieces, and they gave me 2 legs and a wing in each. I was still hungry after eating. Tiniest pieces I've been served at Churches. Service was poor, repeated order at least 4 times before they got it. Plenty of staff, but not really doing anything to pay attention to the customer. Would not recommend. Check your food or request fresh chicken only. I think their oil is really old and they are not changing it regularly. Not good at all.

so let’s first start with the wait in the dining area took me over 30 mins for one meal. i didn’t complain. then the dining area is filled with random ppl asking for change (while i’m at the counter mind you, so it’s not like the employees care to put them out) or just loitering. i didn’t complain. when i got a total of ten fries in my regular size fry, i didn’t complain. even when they gave me old chicken from the box warmer i didn’t complain i just asked for it to be replaced but the cherry that topped off the tirade of bad customer service is when i asked the man working the counter if i could use the restroom to wash my hands with my daughter and he told me that the restroom wasn’t open and gave me a cup filled with water to dip my hands in to wash them. are you for real? lol what in the savagery is that?? who does that? if you have a dining area you have to know people will have to use the bathroom after waiting 35mins + to get our food we were hungry and decided to eat in the lobby. at the very least people want to wash their hands!! if your bathroom is broke then have wet naps or hand sanitizer or don’t have seating for dine in. also it’s clear the owner doesn’t care about the complaints it’s a chicken spot in a black community lmao they only care about the money and respond to positive reviews not about a solution to the terrible customer service

TERRIBLE customer service…..charged me for the wrong item, told me it wasn’t, didn’t even acknowledge the sign right behind her that said she was wrong. I wouldn suggested ANYONE go here. If you don’t like your job lady working the register get a new one. Piss poor attitude and demeanor.

Chicken was soggy and undercooked and they wouldn’t replace it bc “they all look and cook like that”. Asked for okra fried hard but not burnt and they gave us the most burnt okra they had. Biscuits tasted like they were left on a counter. Service wasn’t too bad but the food was unacceptable.

Quick and accurate service and the food was hot and fresh. The wings are much smaller than I remember though.

Good surroundings and the food is very delicious. Friendly staff.

Great customer service, I tried this location a few nights ago for dinner and the two ladies working were so nice! And the food is delicious, best biscuits out there.

My experience at Church's Texas was great the service was excellent the chicken was hot and fresh sometimes they don't have the apple pie that I really love and that's the reason why I really come through there even though I do order everything

If I could I'd give 0 stars. I had lunch there this afternoon. I had a 3 piece mixed meal with a leg, wing and a thigh. I'm eating the thigh and I'm almost done and there is a dead fly under the skin. I'm so disgusted because I ate so much of it. Happened at the Highland Park,Mi location I'll never it at any your restaurants again.

The people that work there are really good I don't know the ethnicity but their customer service they're clean they're very nice and courteous the chicken was cooked at the right temperature fries were good very clean efficient place Church's Chicken in Highland Park Michigan

I was there around 12pm today and the customer service was horrible, my chicken and biscuit was cold and hard. I was rushing so I couldn't go back but I won't be back to that location. It's already expensive so that really upsets me. It's horrible to see what is allowed in the black community and nothing is usually done about it.

It all comes down to the chicken. The batter has the same crunch, the tenderness is similar, but there is absolutely NO flavor! Part of the recipe changed and it tastes like they wanted to do a healthy take on the original flavor. Definitely no salt or Accent or whatever it was that made it delicious. I was really looking forward to my cheat day, but this ruined it. Hopefully it's just this location. Also, the mac n' cheese noodles were a overcooked and felt like mashed potatoes, and when you heat it up, there's an aftertaste like light vomit. There was some confusion with the language barrier, but that's no one's fault. That did mean that my order was wrong and I ended up buying $40 worth of food when I only needed a meal for two people. Imagine my surprise when they handed me a gallon worth of pop! There was no way to change the order at the window. The corn and biscuits are good, no change there. But the chicken... Never going back to this location.

DO NOT EAT HERE. First, their signage doesn't say they're church's chicken -- it's a totally different brand. But they use church's bags and boxes. The worse part is how terrible the food was. I ordered 2 meals: the rotisserie chicken quarter meal and 5 piece chicken strip meal. The food was so bad, my children refused to eat and I threw it away. Very deceptive. Over cooked and not fresh. Higher prices for the same ol shix.
