Extremely quick service. We got a variety of things to try. The chili cheese fries were amazing. The burgers are served on an amazing kaiser with a side of pickles. Portions are very generous. We weren't blown away by the chili dogs, but everything else was great.

At the suggestion of a colleague, decided to give this place a try. Had it not been on such a hot day (yesterday) I would’ve walked here white my car was being serviced on US-1. Instead I waited until it was done, and drove over. The ambiance was that of a NJ diner and open 24/7. The menu was enormous. And it said all the hamburgers come with onions. I thought we’ll maybe just some rings. No, it was reminiscent of a White Castle burger. I took a seat at a counter seat and before long, actually quite quick, my burger and fries were ready. I got the NJ Hamburger which is a hamburger, onions, Taylor ham pork roll and fried egg on a Kaiser roll. Now let’s talk about the onions. I thought just on top. It seemed like they were in the meat, but I think they were just pressed in the meat. The Taylor ham was two thick pieces and a nicely cooked fried egg. To top it off they used a Kaiser roll. It came with pickles on the side. My order of fries were not greasy and hot. Everything g was tasty and the staff is friendly. The place is very clean. I had planned to give this place 5 stars but a few hours later, the burger with the onions started repeating on me. I will repeat and do recommend. I’d like to try a breakfast sandwich next. You should note that nowhere on the menu do they mention they have gluten-free rolls. I didn’t ask but just something to think about. I will ask next time. And there will be a next time.

First time going here and it was veru cool! The service is quick. The food is old school amd yummy and the vibe inside is like a time machine back to the 50s and 60s. Loved it! Can't wait to go back!

White Rose Hamburgers in Highland Park is a staple to the community. This establishment has been slinging hamburgers as long as I can remember. I usually get a Trenton burger (porkroll and cheeseburger) and it never disappoints. I had the mozzarella sticks for the first time and they were top tier. The speed the food comes out still shocks me. This is an affordable meal that the whole family can enjoy.

Umm... Maybe I'm just not used to old fashioned style burgers with tons of onions mixed in the meat. It really didn't taste like real burger meat. It's like a giant white castle burger. At least they are inexpensive! Do yourself a favor and get the cheese steak instead. It's better.

I eat at White Rose 3-4 times a week. My favorite burger. Super fast and delicious. With these prices and taste there is no alternative. And don’t forget to try those yummy waffles.

White rose's service is swift and good quality. Whether you're looking for a quick bite on the run, or you have time to enjoy a sit down meal, White Rose accommodates both these in a unique way. Normally I'd get their burgers, but in search for something a little different, I got their philly cheesesteak combo. The food took around 3-4 minutes to be done, unlike their burgers which come out within a minute. The quality of the thin cut beef was good and had a nice sear to it. Someone else who had gotten a different (and rather convoluted sounding) order came back in due to a mistake in the order. Rather than there being any fuss, the chefs made a new order and the customer went on their way. White Rose is reminiscent of diner's that focus on their specialty and care about the clientele.

Fast and good prices. I went in on a Sunday night around 8pm and it was pretty calm. There isn't a lot of seating but I was able to find a spot no problem. I saw a few picnic tables outside too. I was told that on Friday + Saturdays it gets really full and that the line goes out the door!

Always consistent with the quality, taste and quick service. The double cheeseburger and fries were delicious. I wish there were White Roses in Virginia.

We have been told many times now (especially since eating at White Manna) that we had to check out White Rose Hamburgers in Highland Park. This quaint diner style burger place pumps out fast, hot, delicious food 24 hours a day and we want to know why it is so busy and so many people said this is the spot. Time to eat! The employees inside were friendly and helpful. I had a good idea of what my son and I wanted right off the bat anyway, but the man who took the order and the cook were both were nice and courteous. A quick transaction later and we decided to take our food out to one of the outdoor picnic benches. If we hadn’t though, there is a fair amount of seating inside as well all counter top bar style. We decided to go with a couple double cheeseburgers, mozzarella sticks, and cheese fries. I have to say initially, the food looked excellent. The burgers were large, the mozz sticks had a nice fry to them so they weren’t too dark but not pale looking either, and the fries had a ton of cheese sauce on them. Starting with the mozzarella sticks, these were very good. They were hot, crispy, and the cheese was really melty and stretched for days. The only thing that could have possibly rounded these out better was a solid marinara for dipping…and that’s exactly what we got. The sauce had a ton of depth and just a really nice sweet to savory ratio. Paired perfectly with the Mozzarella sticks. The cheese fries were also excellent. The fries were nice and crispy even under the weight of the hefty amount of cheese sauce on them. They definitely stood up to the cheese and the potato flavor was still totally prevalent. My biggest issue with these…was we didn’t have more. For the burgers I got mine as it comes standard (pickles, fried onions, ketchup) and my son got his as plain cheeseburgers. These patties were flattened out to be wide, but they were in no way lacking in beef. The double burger was more than sufficient to fill anyone’s appetite. I love the flavors of the onions, ketchup, and pickles but I’m sure this was tasty as a plain cheeseburger as well. The meat itself tasted almost similar to white castle but these burgers were far superior in quality. Also they had a nice Jersey Kaiser roll as the bun which is something I’ve loved since my youth. All in all a great meal at a really solid price. I’d stop back in here any day of the week. Clear cut, White Rose Hamburgers – Didn’t Suck! Please check out our video from White Rose on TikTok or posts on Facebook, Instagram, and our website!

This place is an absolute gem, you can count on this place to hit the spot and you don’t even feel that greasy after you finish your meal. The flavor of the patty with the onions cooked in is legit and I will vouch for the double cali burger all day

In the area and grabbed an early morning breakfast…egg and cheese on a roll, hot and fresh. Old school diner retro vibe that accepts apple pay! Will need to come back to try the burgers!

First time visit and from out of town: Seven of us went for lunch. It was incredibly FAST, hot, good prices, and didn't taste like it had been under a warmer considering the speed! My 19yr old daughter said it was the best burger she's ever had. Everything was great! There are a few informal, no table service, seats inside, and picnic tables outside, or you can do take out.

I ordered a super bacon burger and a regular hot dog. First of all, the burger is very big and the bacon is very crispy. It is perfect with cheese and pickles, but the meat part has no flavor. It is recommended to eat with tomato sauce. Second, the hot dog sausage is small and salty, but the roast is delicious and the fluffy bread tastes just fine. Since this restaurant has been open for a long time, it seems to be able to find out why this restaurant has been open for so long. It's close to school and apartment, perfect for eating after class and in the evening when you're hungry!

White Rose is a classic, and deserves it every bit. It's a small, yet cozy. Both the outside and inside are very vintage and it creates a fun environment. I ordered the #6 combo, California cheeseburger with fries and it was excellent. First off, the service was very quick. I think my food was ready before I even finished my payment. Then the burger and fries were very good and I understand why this place is known for its burgers. I also must add that the pickles were shockingly good, and that's coming from someone who's not a particularly huge fan of pickles. Overall White Rose was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone in the area who wants a quick bite and great burger.

The philly cheese steak is really good but keep in mind that it's fast food style. The service is good too! Perfect place for a late night meal or snack.

Over the weekend, I visited White Rose Hamburgers in Highland Park. There was a parking lot in front of the diner. The cost of my meal was about $14 all together. The diner was a classic vintage diner. There was enough stools inside to seat a good amount of people, maybe for about 15 people. Upon entering, I was greeted by the friendly staff and took a good look at the menu. White Rose is known for their hamburgers, but due to my strict dietary restrictions, I had to opt for mozzarella sticks and French fries. It did not take long for my order to be ready, I waited about 5 minutes. The mozzarella sticks and the French fries were fresh and crispy, which was much needed after a long morning of studying. The seasoning on both the mozzarella sticks and fries were perfect. I would recommend others to visit White Rose Hamburgers as well. Even though there is not much on the menu compared to newer diners, it was an interesting experience to visit one of the few vintage diners, which offers great comfort food!

Cool old school diner. The burger was served on a good roll. The burger itself tasted ok but it didn’t have any texture. It almost seemed steamed with onions. Flavor was good just not what I expected. Fries were crispy. Service is great and ultra fast. Burger was up within a minute and fries were also fast.

I went to White Rose Hamburgers around 4pm on Tuesday. I got their number 6 which was a Burger, soda, and some fries for only 12 dollars. A very reasonable price for what you get. Tons of parking space so you don’t have to worry about parking. The wait time was non-existent. I got my food immediately. The customer service was great. The staff were very friendly. The staff gave me a recommendation for the number 6 which made it easy to get something quick. The place was really well kept and it was very homey inside. Most of the customers came in just to get food to go. If you are vegan there are not alot tons of options that don’t include meat. Options include onion rings, all kinds of burgers, Sandwiches, cheesesteaks, hotdogs, and shakes. If I'm ever in the area I will definitely be stopping by again.

I arrived at the diner at around 9:30..ish. I was afraid that it would be too late but nonetheless, there were people in the parking lot and inside enjoying their meals. I ordered two milkshakes, one vanilla and strawberry. The staff was very friendly and they made my milkshakes in under a minute, which was so shocking. The milkshakes were full of flavor and absolutely delicious, their milkshakes beat McDonalds by a million!! They had a cute little seating outside which I would've loved to sit at if it wasn't so late. The inside of the diner and the employees outfits were very vintage, I felt like I was time traveling back to the 60's!! Overall, I absolutely enjoyed the experience and I will definitely be returning here very soon.

Been here twice. Had a gyro the first time and a cheeseburger with fries the second time. Both times, service was fast and food was amazing! I love the atmosphere, like a classic fast food resturant. Great prices too! 10/10 would recommend.

Great food at great prices with an old school atmosphere. The burger has quite a bit of onions in it and if your body doesn't do well with that, then I recommend planning accordingly. However, for the rest of us, just a little yogurt after will take care of things.

I tried White Rose Hamburgers for the first time. I heard it was good from friends so I decided to try it. I went on a monday night for dinner and there were plenty of spaces to park. There were tons of seats inside and out. It was chiller so I ate inside. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and cheese fries. The price was reasonable as I paid around $16 for everything in total. The food came out in around less than five minutes. I just waited for them and did not use my phone so I did not expect them to be that fast. The burger looked very questionable at first because it was on a paper plate and the burger was ground meat. I have not had grounded burger meat like this before so it was definitely different. The cheese fries were delicious, as they were perfectly sized and the cheese was hot enough. The portions were enough for 2 people. I enjoyed the burger as it was very savory and I liked how the unions mushed in with the meat. I definitely would get it again. I suggest going late at night, because of it being nicer eating there when there are not a lot of people. The service was faster than a drive through too. I would recommend the double bacon cheeseburger and cheese fries combo if you really want good fast food.
