This was a very interesting first eye doctor visit. The communication via text to set up the appointment and send in paperwork was something I have never experienced before, which I didn’t exactly mind but it was a little all over the place. Dr. Sherman seemed a little distant when I first met him but he was nice and funny during the exam. He was also very thorough and didn’t rush which I appreciated. The receptionist was pleasant although she seemed a little scattered. The office itself was very cluttered with papers and random stuff — think it could use an update. The jury’s still out on whether I like his suggestions for a new prescription.

Dr.Sherman did a through exam and discovered my husband’s problem—He was very patient and understanding—He sent us out knowing what to expect from the surgeon and my husbands eye sight got better. Very Happy with Dr.Sherman and Rachel ‘s assistance .

I had a great experience with Rachel and Dr. Sherman. I was a new patient and Rachel the office administrator was warm and very helpful. She set up my appointment quickly through text and sent over all the new patient forms before my appointment. Dr. Sherman was really thorough with my exam, explained everything in layman’s terms, and had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend them.

Dr Sherman was great with my 9 year old, really put him at ease. After a thorough examination he made sure to explain to me what was going on with my son's vision. The secretary was very helpful both before and after the appointment. Quaint small office with a personal touch.

Bought my own frames but wanted to get Hoya lenses because they are the best. Found out Sherman Eyewear was/is a Hoya provider. Gave them a call. Rachel texted me about my scrip. Got my eyes checked and took scrip to them. Rachel is an absolute "sweetheart" and extremely professional. She got back to me about the lenses. I paid for them on my phone, took the frames to them and waited for the call. The lenses are amazing! They're thin as a quarter and my frames fit superbly! The lenses were also on sale. Sherman gets 5 stars from me. And I'm a "former" Fed.

Always a pleasure visiting Dr. Sherman. I would recommend him to anyone. He takes his time, explains everything he is doing, answers all questions knowledgeably and if you’re lucky he will bless you with some solid dad jokes.

Excellent service by Howard and Rachel. Their local business is a treasure in our small town. The cost was worth every penny. Their combined decades of experience made for a very pleasant shopping environment. We made our appointment for our grammar school age son. He has already chosen his frames. Highly recommended.

I toke my 5 year old son for a check up and prescription. Dr. Sherman and the lady at the front desk was so polite and accommodating to his needs. Loved every pair of glasses that were a choice to him. Was not disappointed. Great place for everyone in the family. ❤️

Very helpful all around for an emergency situation. Dr. Sherman is also a very kind and caring person. He always makes me feel comfortable and at ease, even when I am nervous about getting my eyes checked. He also takes the time to answer all of my questions and concerns, no matter how silly they may seem.

I had such a great experience with this doctor and his staff. From the minute the receptionist answered the phone to the first appointment, they are incredibly helpful. Especially for a mother of a child with special needs. Dr. Sherman and his staff are thorough and incredibly helpful. It is always a struggle to find a good doctor for a child with special needs, however Dr. Sherman's ability to communicate with my child was so wonderful and seemed to come very natural. I would highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Sherman and his office were great. I was having a very random issue and was quite nervous about, they saw me right away the next day and put me at ease. I actually had an appointment for en eye exam with another doctor but cancelled that one after meeting him and his staff and decided to become a patient here instead. Def recommend them!

I did not know there are so many tests for eye. Doctor was very thorough and patiently helped me understand and answered to all of my questions. I highly recommend doctor anyone looking for an eye doctor.

Dr. Sherman was kind enough to see me during an eye emergency when my regular eye doctor was unavailable. I was so impressed with his willingness to see me as well as his thoroughness in the exam. His office assistant was also very nice. Now that my former eye doctor has moved I am happy to see him as my regular eye doctor now!

Dr. Sherman is a kind and charismatic optometrist. He connected with me soon after I met him. I know he has a great bedside manner with his patients as he explained everything relating to my vision diagnosis to me very thoroughly.

Great communication, easy to contact very nice and helpful and the doctor was great with my toddler. And they had toys in the waiting room made my experience A LOT easier even though it was little to no wait.

Dr. Sherman is the best Eye doctor I have even been to. He is very kind, and fun. He treats patients with utmost care. Rachel at the office is very helpful too.

I visited Dr. Sherman for a severe case of eye redness and itchiness, which he thoughtfully diagnosed as blepharitis, and took his time in examining my eyes thoroughly and gently. He took his time to understand everything he needed to and explain what was going on as well. Rachel was kind too, and extra brownie points for the ambience of the clinic , was cute like a coffee shop with interesting reading material ☺️

Dr. Sherman has been my optometrist for years now. He and his staff have always been wonderful at helping me determine the eyeglasses and exams that best fit my needs. I highly recommend him.
