I get that budgets are restricted, but it's called "stepping up" in order to help people. We waited for 4hrs for our appointment, and when the doctor finally came he said ,"It'll be another 5hrs". Nurses seem to not care at all and laugh and chat whilst people are simultaneously suffering and waiting in pain. Chairs are very uncomfortable, below basic levels of an average chair.

I have been in kingaroy since 1984. The hospital has now reach its lowest rating for care. There's just NO care. No information and medications brought to hospital, taken away by the nurse locked in is not given EVER. No discharged papers, no tests results. Next time I'll go see a veterinarian, my dog get better services and results.

I was in hospital for six days prior and sent home from Toowoomba hospital with nothing done then I ended up back in Kingaroy hospital for the same thing arrived at 6pm and was asked by a asian doctor if I could come back in the morning as it was busy yet there was myselfand one other person what a joke. I said no and stay till the morning 5am woke to all emergency staff talking about what they are payed and how do I get bonuses and was kicked out at 6 am that morning. Very disappointed with this.

My Surgeon was fantastic. Nurses aren't very friendly or helpful. Didn't see one Nurse or Staff member smile. They do you obs and that's it no extra help or chatting with you. Very Disappointing new hospital maybe new Nurses and or Staff if not happy with your Job.I was told to take my own Skuds off if I was to hot really 🤔

My father recently was taken to emergency dept with severe stomach pain. They rang to say he could be discharged They weren't going to investigate the stomach pain until I (as his daughter) insisted. He then was airlifted to Bris about 3 hours later with a large internal bleed. They had not contacted anyone in the family to notify them this was happening.

Came to the ER again dor second time in 5 days complaining about a cough and told them that it's worst and I can't breathe . The nurse at the triage was rude saying theirs alot going around and can't guarantee you will get anything as to a miracle cure . What is wrong with common sense and listen to patients we wouldn't sit here for hours for no reason . I would prefer to attend doctors if I didn't have to wait up to four weeks and travel 30k to see someone. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED

So thankful to have this excellent service in my town. Delivered my baby there and felt like was on a luxury private hospital. All staff was great, friendly, super helpful and made my experience a blessing! Thank you so much all midwives, nurses, doctors, and all the staff that helped us!

Nurses having a talking fest outside the rooms after we had called the buzzer, they didn't seem to care at all, they weren't taking me seriously because they thought that I had pulled a muscle. Such long waits for scan, had to get rushed to Toowoomba for emergency surgery.

Spent some time in the Emergency Department yesterday. Awesome doctors and nurses, made my stay as comfortable as possible. My only concern was, with a brand new hospital, all the hospital beds were full, no room for the patients in the ED to move to. Concerning if there is an outbreak of covid here, and beds are needed.

This hospital is an absolute disgrace My sister had a miscarriage and went to this hospital and was spose to be flown to Toowoomba and wasn't she was put next to an infected man with covid and my sister was negative he wasn't put in isolation and so now my sister has covid and now has to isolate for 2 weeks at home she is so distressed now😡

I understand, there are not enough staffs. But waiting for 5 hours was too harsh. even they just checked around 5mins.

What a fantastic hospital, the staff were amazing with my partner. They were professional,friendly and excellent communicators. They answered all our questions and were kind and caring. While we didn't get a diagnosis, we left knowing that he was on the mend given we are on the road travelling atm. Highly recommend

My husband had a major heart attach Friday 4th March. He was brought back to life twice. The staff that were there were absolutely fantastic. They looked after my husband and me. He then went by helicopter to the Pa hospit al where they had to bring him back again. Thankyou to everyone that took care of him. Because of all the staff I still have my husband.

Ever since the new upgrades to this facility the waiting time has taken so much longer. I'm writing this now while waiting and I've been here for 4 hours. It'd be a shame if I was dieing from poison or something. Honestly I'd be better off traveling to Murgorn hospital.

I was brought by the ambulance to their ER. I was suffering from severe lower back pain. I couldn't stand/walk, I could barely move in bed. Hours and hours I have been waiting in there but nothing happened. No doctor ever came to see me, only the nurse. She only gave me neurofen and said the doctor will see me soon but they have more urgent patients to attend to. SIX hours have passed, still NOTHING. Staff acting busy everytime they walk pass by me. So I had enough and decided to just bare the pain and walked out of there. I wsted almost 8 hours altogether for NOTHING. I told the nurse that I'm going because it's been too long. She just said "oh, OKAY, good luck". The worst experience I ever had in a public hospital.

Absolutely deplorable service especially from a woman by the name of Anne. Who openly admitted to seeing me buzzing for help on camera and refused to come out to serve. Terrible bedside manner, and clearly has no interest in helping people. Reports will be made.

Only gave a 1 star review as I couldn't give a 0. Hospital is a massive joke. I waited 4hrs for my 10 month old daughter to be seen. As a first time mum I was obviously stressed and worried for the health of her. She had a large solid lump on her leg and her feet were extremely cold, the doctor told me that there was nothing he could do about the lump as there was other important patients to be seen. He then felt her feet and told me it was normal, which it clearly wasnt! They treated me like a joke and kept reminding me that I was wasting their time for something I could of just watched. Would not recommend to anyone no matter how bad you are to go to this hospital, go anywhere else but the Kingaroy Hospital. So disappointed!

What an appalling use of tax payers money building an $84 million dollar executive office for doctors and nurses as a public hospital in a failing healthcare system in this regional area.
