We had a great time. We did the Zodiac Killer room and the atmosphere was amazing. There was a backing track of awesome noises and songs and sounds and things. Sophie was the staff member who guided us in our intro and hints and things and she did a fantastic job. Her hints when we asked were very helpful without being too revealing and didn't spoil the fun at all. We will be back to do all the other rooms!

The escape room was great we did prison break. We really had to work together as a group and it was really fun. We had Audrey as our game master and she helped us through the game and did an amazing job of clarifying when we needed it. The hints she gave us helped put us on the right track without spoiling it for us and she was really nice. It was great experience.

I went with 3 friends who had not been to an escape rom before. We did the Tesla's Mystery room - which apparently one of the harder rooms. Jarvis was an awesome game master. He really helped to set the scene and helped us to really get into the game. We had heaps of fun and managed (with some helpful hints ) to escape with 1 second to spare! Highly recommend this escape room.

Arguably the best escape rooms I've ever been to! Today I did the Zombie Lab room with some friends and it was an amazing experience! Staff were friendly, the challenge was fun and it was overall amazing! Taylor did a great job as well with guiding us and her acting at the start as well! Loved the quiet theme of foxes, 11/10, would totally come back!

My partner and I did the Zodiac room on Sunday night, it was my first time doing an escape room and I loved every minute of it. The puzzles were just hard enough to make you feel clever when you solved them. The narrative around the Zodiac room was really enjoyable and felt appropriate. Our host Sophie was incredible and really elevated the experience for me. I can't wait to come back and try another room, I would absolutely recommend this for a fun night out.

Amazing experience with the kids. We were a family of 4 with a 6 & 7yr old. Very entertaining entrance as prisoners and not scary at all. Our game master Jarvis was amazing too! Always super helpful and only gave enough way to point us in the right direction. Kids had an absolute blast and we can not wait to go again. Highly recommended!!!

The "Other Side" escape room was an absolute thrill! The intricate design and clever puzzles kept us on our toes throughout the entire experience. Daniel, our games master, was a key person in making this adventure extraordinary. His insightful hints guided us just enough to keep the excitement alive without giving away the solutions too easily. Daniel's enthusiasm for the "Other Side" theme enhanced the immersive atmosphere, making the entire journey feel like a real-life mystery. Kudos to Daniel and the entire team for creating such an engaging escape room – five stars well-deserved!

We did the head to head prison break room. It was really good with a great mix of different puzzles. This was my first ever escape room and I really renjoyed it. Our "guard" Lilly, was fantastic and played her room great! Thanks for helping to make our night awesome Lilly :)

Had such a great experience completing the Zodiac Killer room! The clues and puzzles were just the right amount of difficult with plenty to the keep the two of us occupied. The hints we got were great and didn’t reveal too much. Overall such a fun experience. Excited to revisit and try the other rooms!

Front counter lady was nice and friendly. The cop actor played his role well to make it feel real as possible. Objectives inside the prison were unique and had to make us think hard. Teamwork is a must as you won’t escape without each other. Overall was a great fun experience.

We did Prison Break yesterday with 3 tweens and 2 adults. We all loved it. The puzzles, communication, mystery atmosphere were all brilliant. The staff were both professional and helpful. I took my daughter and her friends to the place and had a great time. When we arrived there, both reception and the tour guide were very nice and helpful. The place and the game rooms are clean and well maintained. We went to the MasterMind Heist room, the hint was just came at the right time so we had fun and no pressure at all. Kids were so excited when they got the diamonds. We will definitely come back to check other game rooms. It looks like they are brining in new games soon!!! The only problem I think it is still the parking. But nothing to complain as it is located in the CBD. :) Do not forget to sign off the waiver form before you go!

It was so fun. The rooms are really detailed and exciting - we did the Zombie one (I think me and my group are just a bit stupid so we didn't get out). Our Games Master Nico was incredibly sweet - really nice person. Also love their hair! Would highly recommend.

Completed the Zodiac Killer room and it was super enjoyable. Just enough difficulty to get your noodle working but so much fun to do. The clues and puzzles are so well thought out and everyone had a great time. Jimmy was very helpful before, during and after our session. My team and I did the Zombie Lab escape room earlier this week and had an AMAZING time! Our Game Master Seb was very approachable and friendly. We had some funny and witty banter with him after the game after we escaped with almost 12 minutes remaining - in part due to his incredibly helpful hints that he offered without us even asking. The other staff in the building were also very lovely and helped with any and all questions we had before and after our experience. 10/10, will be visiting Fox In A Box again sometime! :)

While I’ve only done the one room here (Zombie Lab), it was a very well put together room. Everything worked as it should, and the room was designed well. Our game master Alyssa did a great job of setting the scene and giving us a nudge in the right direction when needed. Will definitely come back again to try out the other rooms.

We came here as a family (two early teens, two adults) and had a great time. The team got right into character when we got to the room, with the Prison Break team getting into character straight away in the waiting room. Whilst we needed help twice, the Wild West room did seem a bit easy but we all loved it. The kids were able to contribute too which was great. Service was fast and helpful, the website was easy to use. We’ll be back to tackle a harder room.

So much fun!! Did the Zodiac Killer room, really got my adrenaline rushing! Be careful in there. Daniel did an amazing job at providing hints without giving too much away. We loved him. I love him. Came here with some friends for my Birthday, we did Zodiac Killer. The experience was great, thrilling. Our game master Milla was amazing with setting the scene and really pulling us into the story. The room was challenging for us but not too hard, we managed to get out (yay!). At all times, I felt safe - can't really name any problems. Pricing was $38 each (6 people) It is so fun, I strongly recommend them for any time of the year :)))

I feel like a good way to judge a business is to see how they act when things go wrong. I have to commend Fox in the Box with how they handled it when we had to evacuate due to a fire alarm in the middle of our session. They kept us well-informed and gave us a voucher to try another room as we couldn't finish our game. When we came back to do another room, they offered for us to do the room we had to abandon to completion, as well as the room we booked in the same session. It was awesome as the final puzzle was the best one so I'm glad they made sure we didn't miss out. Thanks to team leader Isaac and the other game masters who helped us.

We have gone to this place twice, and would go again! We have done the zombie apocalypse and the zodiac rooms, and we had immense fun in both! The rooms feel very interactive, not too hard, but certainly not too easy either. The staff try hard and it really shows! I appreciate their effort to make the experience great for everyone.

Was great fun! We did the Zodiac Killer Room and it was very thrilling. The puzzles were tricky and really got you thinking. Lauren was our host and she made it a great experience. She plays her roll extremely well and really got us into the story line while making sure we didn’t struggle too much. I really enjoyed it!

I had an incredible experience at the prison break escape room hosted by Sam! The attention to detail in the room's design was exceptional, creating an immersive atmosphere that made us feel like we were truly in a prison setting. Sam's guidance and clues were perfectly timed, keeping the excitement levels high throughout the game. We managed to solve all the puzzles and make our escape, thanks to Sam's expert hosting skills. I highly recommend this escape room, and Sam as a host, for a thrilling and challenging adventure. It's a solid 5/5 from me!

I went to the Wild West escape room at Fox in a Box with my friend, and we had so much fun! The room was wonderfully detailed, and fit the theme very well. Fox in a Box provides memorable and fun experiences that will make you want to come back for more. There are many other escape rooms, and none of them fail to deliver. Shout out to Jarvis, our game master. He was kind, funny and patient even after countless hints. He made our experience enjoyable. Highly recommend if you want to try head-scratching puzzles and new experiences for every room you try!

Awesome escape rooms, Audrey was an awesome host and facilitated a great experience at Fox In A Box. I would recommend them to all. They also had a great waiting room with loads of games to fill the time.

I did the Prison Break escape room on the 21st of October with four other friends and had a fantastic time. The puzzles were difficult enough to be satisfying, and made for a great first escape room for me. Our game master Uther made sure that we didn't get too stuck on the last puzzle, and definitely made for a great experience. Would love to go again sometime soon!

We had an incredible time doing the Tesla room, puzzles were fun and innovative, the scenery and room setting was beautiful without distracting us too much from the hints. The Otherside was of the best rooms I’ve ever done!! Lots of great effects, and many puzzles to solve. Good amount of diversions to lead you astray as well—definitely upped the difficulty level. We only used 3 hints, and got out with just 3:21 to spare😀 The employees were super fun, knowledgeable of job, and polite

I participated in the Prison Break (Head-to-Head) escape room with friends and family. This was my first escape room experience, and I had a great time. The puzzles were both mentally and physically engaging, and I felt that they were appropriately challenging. The room was well-designed; both the props used and the audio of the room helped to establish the environment. Fox in a Box seems to be a highly professional operation, and I look forward to my next visit. Nico, our Game Master, was excellent; they were mostly hands-off during the game, only occasionally intervening via audio where strictly necessary (e.g. when we attempted something unnecessary for the game). They were very friendly, and politely answered our questions after the game had been completed.

AWESOME! Our group of five had the best time trying to escape the Zodiac Killer (and succeeded!). It was challenging but so much fun! Our Game Master (Jackson) was fantastic too! We will definitely be returning 😊

We had a fabulous time! We tried the "Bunker" which had quite challenging puzzles to solve!! It was my first time trying out an escape room, and I must say that I am hooked! The game was very well planned out and executed! I felt like a detective trying to solve a mystery! We managed to complete our mission 5 minutes before the deadline!! Phew!! We had so much fun! I would definitely recommend this activity for kids and adults alike!!

My group of 5 had an incredible time in the Zombie Lab game. Our Game Master Ruby was great at what she did, from role playing her part as a scientist to giving us just slight enough hints, when needed, that we still felt challenged when working out the next step. We had such an awesome time for our fox in a box experience. The Prison break escape room was great for us faint hearted not wanting a fright, it was definitely challenging but still really fun and we had to work well as a team to crack all the codes. We had Jarvis as our host and he was very engaging and funny! We will be back for sure!

This was our first time visit to try an escape room. We did prison break and brought our 3 children with us for a fun school holiday activity. Everyone had such a great time, with the exception of our youngest who initially cried because he thought we were really “locked up forever”. Our game host Sam was extremely helpful and accommodating to my needs, as i am short sighted and have difficulty seeing tiny objects from a distance. We all had so much fun, and will definitely be back to try them all.

Had a great experience doing the Wild West room today. Our game host Ruby was friendly, enthusiastic and in character which made the experience more fun. We were all impressed with the different types of puzzles.

I've done all the rooms here, and it was definitely the highest quality escape room I've ever been to. I would highly recommend Fox in a Box to anyone looking for something fun to do with friends or family.

Absolutely looooved it here. First escape room at Fox in a box but have done many others around Brisbane. They staff really get into their roles and it adds to the fun. We managed to solve our room, but had a bit of help from our guide. I think her name was Taylor, she was absolutely wonderful and really made our afternoon a blast. Thank you we will be back :)

Really fun place. I did the zombie escape room and really loved the experience. Perfect blend of scary, fun and intellectual. Lily was our server and was really engaging and didn't mind me asking a bunch of questions when the room was done. Would recommend.

Did an escape room earlier in the night with staff member Sophie who was our guide and host. Super friendly and really helpful!!! - my friends and I had so much fun that we booked another escape room for late that night! The second room was with Robin who scores an 11/10 in showmanship. Played such a good character for our escape room, he definitely was a great part of the experience! Will definitely book another room again with friends!

The puzzles were so much fun. The ambient sound definitely got our group into the mood. We went for Zombie Labs and Zodiac Killer. Bring your brain and bravery cause this is going to be the best time of your life. Would recommend coming with close friends since you will be pushed to communicate and cooperate when the puzzles get hard.

We had Niko as our game master and she was really nice and helpful. The rooms are fun and challenging with plenty of diversity in room design. I will definitely do more escape rooms here- Prison Escape being my favourite so far. Thanks for such a good time!

We decided to do an escape room for our son's birthday and selected Prison Break. It was so fun and both kids and adults had a blast. Staff were great. All are keen to come back to Fox in A Box and try another room.

We played The Zodiac Killer room and it was so fun!!! Our Game Master Alice was really lovely and went above and beyond to make our experience the best! From giving us a hint when we were soooo close to cracking a code or doing her own extra effects to make it scarier! Really lovely place to go for the escape room experience.

Have been to at least half a dozen escape rooms and this one is definitely the best. Challenging well set out rooms, great hint system and plenty of surprises! Staff are excellent and add to the experience. If you haven't been go check it out!

Played zodiac killer the room was amazing.very scary the puzzles were unique, well fitted to the theme and difficult. Our game host Josiah was extremely pleasant. He was polite and very helpful and made the overall experience so much better. Would definitely recommend for a fun day out

Definitely a fun and challenging experience for Halloween. We did a Sunday evening session for halloween in the prison break room and it did not disappoint. From the theme to the puzzles themselves and Roses guidance was a great and fun experience. Will definitely be back and recommend it to my friends and family! These rooms are incredible. My team of 22 took over four rooms and everyone loved the themes. I can only personally review Prison Break but it was unreal. This is a great day out with friends or work teams. Our game master was Nico and she was amazing! She helps you stay on track without ruining the experience.

My friends and I did the Zombie lab escape room for my birthday. The room was great and definitely quite scary in a good way. The employee Jarvis led our room very well, he was really fun and had a great sense of humour and played his part very well, definitely Oscar worthy. Highly recommend

Played Zodiac Killer with Ti (sorry if I got your name wrong!) as our game master. This was my favourite escape room experience ever! The room was well-maintained and detailed, and the puzzles were varied and fun. The game master-ing was flawless. Not too many jump scares, which I enjoyed. Edit: Played their Zombie Lab room with Taylor as my game master. It was wonderful again! I would suggest a smaller group for this room, and be prepared to be reminded of high school by some of the puzzles. Update number 2: played The Saloon with Grey as our game master and had a ball! Special effects blew me away!

Daniel was our games master for prison break and bunker. These rooms were great fun, prison break was great with every detail, bunker definitely made us think harder and observe more. Daniel got into character and definitely gave us a laugh. We also had El when we completed The Other side, she was lovely and very pleasant to deal with making our experience pleasant. We had the same games master for Wild West and zombie lab, unfortunately I never caught her name but she ensured the vibe of the room started before you even entered the room. Getting us hyped and ready for what we were about to enter. Amazing team of staff and amazing experience.

What a fantastic experience here. We did the zombies lab and it was relatively challenging but absolutely fun to do. The whole experience was great with friendly staff. I think if you are looking for some great experience of escape room. This would be a nice option. The way they give you hint was also nice in a way that you still get to think but not giving you the answers straightaway. I’d recommend here for a fun night out with a group of friends.

We did the zodiac killer escape room and had a great time. The jump scares were fantastic but not over the top, and the staff were engaging and seemed to really enjoy the storytelling. Thanks Daniel and the rest of the Fox in a Box team for a great night out.

The amount of detail these people have put into their rooms is amazing. All staff are friendly and explain the puzzles and rooms thoroughly. They get in character where needed too. Great quality fun. Have been twice now and have done four rooms. My fave is the wild west one! So good.
