If you are reading this, let me tell you that it wasn't the noodles that call me to this fine establishment, but the rice. As I am typing this review, I am eating their Taiwanese Stewed Pork with Rice. The noodle soup there is authentic as can be and quite honestly the best beef noodle soup I've had, and I'm Chinese, and I've been to many Chinatowns around the US. I am quite surprised to find something that I can actually say "tastes like home". There have been many new additions that have come and gone at George St and the Rutgers Area in general, but I hope this is here to stay. The prices are extremely fair and I would honestly pay more if they did charge higher (I hope they don't). I will probably come here multiple times a month, with or without company! I highly recommend.

Ordered the Spicy Beef Noodles for $10.95. My boyfriend ordered the Taiwanese stewed pork with rice for $8.75. Prices are very reasonable and the food came out super quick and hot! This is our first time here and we would both definitely be back. The noodles were cooked perfectly and absorbed the flavor of the broth well. The beef was also tender and soft. It tasted just like homemade beef noodle soup! The portion size was also not too much and not too little. Chili oil was also yummy. 10/10 - affordable, quick, delicious!

I really like the soup dumplings in this store. I tried it for the first time but it was so amazing . They are so juicy and tender. I’m actually on a weight loss plan. I have always eaten just a little for lunch, but I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the dumplings today. I ate up the whole potion at the end. Considering the quality, the price is very reasonable. Especially during the epidemic, the prices of many things have risen. Will be back soon .

Must try. This noodles are delicious and you can customize the bowls to your liking. You choose which broth type you want and noodles too. We got the Beef Noodle (not spicy) and the Chicken Katsu rice. The chicken katsu rice was good as well but more of a simple dish. It came with white rice, bok choy and a small container of katsu. For appetizer we got the Sichuan style dumplings. So good! Probably my favorite thing we ordered. The dumplings have a good spice and are flavorful. They have other dumplings on the menu and can't wait to go back and try the others. We ordered takeout and the food was ready in under 15 minutes! Price point is great. It's in downtown so parking can sometimes be difficult.

Had the beef noodle and soup dumplings here and it was really good. A lot of restaurants do soup dumplings now but very few get it right. Noodle is Calling is one of the few that got it right. The dumpling was juicy, flavourful and had lots of soup inside. Very similar to the soul dumplings I've had in Shanghai.

I came here for lunch with my boyfriend. The food came out very fast --within 10 minutes after we ordered. The waiter was prompt and helpful. The food was very good and worth trying. My favorite is the Sesame Noodles. I wished the dishes that were labeled as spicy were actually spicy. I added the house chili oil but it didn't add much spice to the meal.

My daughter and I tried this place tonight. It was DELICIOUS! My favorite was the shrimp fried rice. The pork soup dumplings were also very good. My daughter loved the sesame noodles.

Amazing alternative to traditional ramen spots. The soups packed a lot of flavor and it was a delight to have during the cold weather. The meat tasted great and paired up nicely with the vegetables. Noodles were a bit thick but tasted great none the less. The bao was good but could've used some fresh scallions or salad to add a fresh taste. The Sichuan dumplings were awesome. could've had the sauce as a soup by itself. The spot is small but comfortable and the service was great. Clearly family owned. Only issue is parking (as it is for everywhere else in New Brunswick), but since I was in the area it wasn't an issue for me.

We ordered house special for 11.25. the portion is huge so you wouldn't need to order anything else. I hardly finished mine. Noodles were very freshly made and you could tell by the taste, soup tasted great. The only thing I don't like is that everything comes in plastic but it's understandable as they are mainly a takeout place.

Love the seafood options and the noodles and broth are always amazing. Just the right amount of spice, and the quantity is fantastic for the price. Highly recommend checking it out!

Taste terrible. The food is not cooked with correct materials and seasonings, and tastes horrible, we throw it away. We ordered the pork belly buns, and the soup dumplings (xiaolungbao); the pork belly is literally tasteless, no soy sauce taste, one can only taste scallions and a little bit of the peanuts in the bun; the soup dumplings (xiaolungbao) with crab meat, it's probably the worst I've ever tried around the world. Low quality meat, fishy "crab," possible chicken soup stock for the "soup" part, wrong dipping sauce, it tastes so bad we throw it away in the restaurant. Not cooked correctly (don't even mention authenticity), and taste terrible. The service and the "atmosphere" are not better than any take out places, there's practically no service, and the air inside is with heavy oily cooking exhaust. There are so many way better options nearby, including similar cuisine.

Very good soup dumplings!! I’ve had a lot of soup dumplings in my life and the broth in these are exceptional !! Have to try it ! The noodles are solid and so warming with generous portions.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. I ordered the roast duck noodles (spicy), and it was delicious. Definitely recommended getting it spicy. Great flavor, and you literally will drink the broth. It was so good. Service was great, order at the counter and they will bring the food to you if you dine in. While I was there, quite a few people were in and out, getting to go and take out meals. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the music is perfect. I will definitely be back.

Noodles, broth, and apps are 10/10. I really like the dumplings, absolutely delicious! I haven't had the pleasure of dining in, but I order for delivery frequently. I appreciate how neatly they package the food for to-go too.

Noodle is Calling is a fine noodle joint. Even with some stuff competition in the area, NIC still boast a pretty good menu. Their Pork Bao Buns, topped with brown sugar, were pretty good as well! The noodle dish was also decent and filled with some of my fav vegetables (bok choy and kimchi)

The spicy pork dry noodles did not 📞📲🤙☎️📵 unfortunately, contrary to establishment's name. The flavoring is simple, perhaps too simple (chile oil), even for a simple person like me. However, the quick service and simple menu elevate the overall experience from 🌟 🌟 🌟 to 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟. Nevertheless, I will have to give them another try with a different entree because everyone deserves second chances. For most things.
