This is amazing place for safe and exciting friends and family fun. There are multiple skill levels. When you start, you get to practice the equipment and then the staff will help you choose the best course for your skill and fitness level. The staff is watching everyone at all times. I observed kids that were solo and couldn’t figure out how to work the zipline. The the staff went up into and through the course to reach the kid to help them figure out how to move forward. There is also a snack and picnic area. There were birthday party areas too. They also have water stations all over the course. There are many areas to sit and watch if you don’t want to climb. Daniel Holt in customer service was also a big help scheduling my reservations. He was very professional and helpful. I highly recommend the Adventure Park if you’re looking for a fun place for your family, friends or a date. So much fun!! Bring or buy gloves!!

I had so much fun.  This park was well organized and efficient.  After signing in, you attend a safety briefing.  You watch a film that shows you how to put on your gear and move through the different courses.  After putting on your gear and being inspected, you go through a practice course to learn how to lock yourself in and out of the obstacles, and you learn how to attach your cable to zip line.  This is very helpful because once you go on the course you will be independent.  Staff is stationed around the park to assist you.  There are signs that describe the course and difficulty level.  I did two courses one for beginner adults and a child course.  Both were equally difficult.  But I figured out how to get through both.  There is also bottled water on the course, and you will need it.  You can purchase food and snacks, all was reasonably priced.  I loved it and look forward to going back. Highly recommend.

Had a fun and challenging experience! First time ever zip lining and on this kind of experience. If this is your first time, definitely start with easier courses. We started on yellow and it was still pretty challenging. You need to have good balance. Definitely doable, but be prepared for it to feel like a workout at times. Staff members were great and very attentive. Felt safe at all times with the harnesses and the team ready to help if needed.

This is an amazing Adventure Park, the best definitely within a 2 hr radius. We used to go here from the Philly area for my son, who loved it. It has courses ranging from easy (Yellow) to the super challenging Double Black Diamond course. The courses all include zip lines but it’s the treetop rope challenges that are really fun.

Excellent location for zip lining and axe throwing. We went there as a Boy Scout troop and even though my son had been complaining all day of leg pain he seemed to do okay once he got there. The evening was pleasant and with the music and lights in the park it was great fun. The courses are challenging but very safe. Younger kids 5/6 will have a tough time as they need to be taller but can run around with another adult while you do it. Certainly plan to spend the entire few hours down there.

Absolutely great experience here. Staff super friendly and helpful. Ropes courses were so fun but also felt like safety was well addressed. Good mix of courses for all ages. Kind of pricey but you get 3+ hours of climbing time which definitely felt like enough.

The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, making sure that we had all the necessary equipment and safety information before we began. The course consisted of several zip lines and a variety of rope obstacles, including rope bridges, tightrope walks, and swinging logs. Each obstacle was challenging but achievable, and it was a great way to test our skills and push ourselves out of our comfort zones. The zip lines were definitely the highlight of the course. We were able to soar through the trees and take in the breathtaking views from above. The rush of adrenaline was incredible, and it was a unique way to experience the natural beauty of the area. The course was well-maintained and the equipment was in excellent condition. We felt safe and secure at all times, which allowed us to fully enjoy the experience without any worries.

Fun, challenging place for every age category. Even those who don’t climb can enjoy themselves by walking trails or taking pictures of their loved ones. Very friendly, helpful staff, easy and clear instructions. What a great way to enjoy nature, exercise and make friends! Thank you!

The ropes course here is top notch. It has options for very young climbers and up to pretty advanced elements. I have not attempted the black diamond level courses but really enjoyed up through the blue levels which were a pretty good challenge for me (middle aged, 30 lbs overweight, but athletically inclined and active). We bring a youth group here on occasion and it is always a highlight of the year's activities.

Took a gamble and booked a session. Plan to make a day of it. Bring drinks/snacks. Clean facilities, and had a fantastic "in touch with nature" feel. Lots of people there, but everyone was nice (especially the staff!) and there was not a lot of waiting to get through any elements. Despite the crowd, it didn't feel cramped or crowded. I was amazed at how quickly the kids took to it. It was very beginner friendly and ranged all the way to difficult. Do yourself/friends/kids a favor and try something you don't think you'll be able to do... You'll be amazed. I wish there was a demonstration of the "emergency exit" in the practice area before entering, as well as a map of the facility, but we felt pretty comfortable from the start. Overall, great experience and my kids (6 and 7) had an absolute blast. Will definitely be going back!

Thoroughly enjoy visiting adventure park each time I've gone. The employees are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. I love seeing the diversity in staff and their patrons who come from all walks of life, ages, genders, etc. This vibe makes me feel safe, inclusive and proud of my community! The Adventure Park is simply a consistently fun and active way to spend time with loved ones. Ps. I also love that there is a large seating area plus plenty of beautiful paths and benches peppered throughout the courses for whomever wants to enjoy the park from the ground. :)

Great outdoor fun for kids and adults alike. Very cleverly designed Tweezle & double clip system ensures no one could ever fall out of the tree tops! Each of the 14 courses is given a difficulty rating, like a ski resort, so you can pick the best adventures for your skill and fitness level. Took my five year old for her first time and by the time we finished the first course, she was a pro at switching her clips, fearlessly taking on the elements and ziplines. Also, their snack shack is tasty and affordable.

This was our first time and the website was chock full of great information. The location was easy to find, the staff ALL super knowledgeable and friendly and the actual courses very fun. The safety instructions were thorough but brief enough not to take a chunk out of your time. We got good guidance from the signs as well as staff as to which courses would be the best to try. We loved zip lines the best so chose to do “sprite” twice in a row. We also loved the food truck, clean restrooms (nice port a potties) and the fact that it wasn’t crowded since they only allow a certain number of people at the same time. We had a blast and can’t wait to go back!!

My 10 year old had a blast challenging herself on the trails. I know we will visit many more times as she works her way up. This is a great activity to get kids outside and building confidence. The amount of time is perfect. Maybe I will try it next time!

I went here with my 7 year old son and my friend and her son. This place was SO much fun little nerve wreaking because of how everything is laid out. There are a few parts that we tried and he was just not tall enough, but the staff was prompt and on top of helping my son get help. Extremely safe environment and a lot of good skills that you wouldn’t normally use as a mother son duo. Absolutely would come here time and time again.

We returned here again this summer. Out last time here was several years ago. There were several nice updates (such as the easier to use lockers). It was a fun time. It’s pricey but worth it for a good day outdoors. We’ve been going here since my daughter was in middle school and now she’s in college. She even had a birthday party here once. Go early to avoid crowding. Weekdays are pretty good and the camp kids stay on the easier courses. One pro tip: bring gloves (like for weight lifting or climbing). Bring bug spray. Be patient with others and with your own kids. We heard a man berating his soon over and over. It could be heard all over the park and the kid looked miserable. Please don’t do that. Be patient. Most people are kind and understanding and everyone goes at their own pace. We didn’t have any problems with that but it’s just a good reminder.

Absolutely SO MUCH FUN. 43 yo mom went with husband and kids, 12, 10, and 6. The 6 yo needed a lot of assistance and could only do two of the courses (purple), but he loved it and it was fun to go as a family. He did best when sandwiched between my husband and I so we could help him on either end of the zip lines. The 12 and 10 yo needed no assistance, beyond buckling up initially. That is a bit tricky when you need to get it on and off to use the bathroom so ideally don't drink a lot before you go. Again- the 6 yo was the weakest link here. The courses felt very safe because of how the harnesses worked. I felt like I was a lot more confident as a result, even though heights and being on unstable 'ground' occasionally bother me. It didn't seem like there was a lot of room to screw up. You have two carabiners and you've got to hook one on to your next area to get the other one to unhook. It's a really clever system. But I may also have been confident because I could only do purple courses with the littlest kiddo. The harder courses were a lot higher up. It was super pretty at night and it'll be fun to do it during the day at some point too. I'm guessing it's two different experiences. And I feel like I got exercise even though it didn't feel like exercise at the time. Always my favorite way to "work out." Also, ended up grabbing food at the food truck. Not sure what hot dogs they get or why it was so abnormally extraordinary (hot dogs are usually just hot dogs, you know?), but I think that was the best hot dog I've ever had.

Oh what fun! My daughter and I had a blast with her girl scout troop. Adventure for all age groups, this was definitely an out of the box event that didn't dissapoint.

This place is amazing! Axe throwing and ropes style courses to climb, swing and zip through gorgeous trees with day and night options for all levels and skills. A fantastic bonfire seals the deal and the staff is awesome. We can’t wait to come back.

The Adventure Park is a real hidden gem of the DC area. I always suggest it to out of town visitors who want a break from museums and the National Mall. Kids love it, adults love it and it really caters to a wide range of skills and abilities. You won't regret it.

Easy to get to and tons of fun. Various difficulties and layouts make it great for all ages and skill levels. And a nice walking trail for those on the ground. Places to sit and eat at the front (plus a fairly priced food truck) as well as some picnic tables at the back. Water jugs at the front and back at well.
