2 things marred my experience: 1) they shut the pool down mid-swim because some kid vomited. That’s not the problem, but the fact that the kids’ AND the lap pool share the same water is the problem. No other pool I’ve been to does this. 2) No clean towels in the mens’ locker room. If you’re gonna provide towel service PUT SOME TOWELS IN THE LOCKER ROOMS! I had to run out naked to get a towel. Other than these problems the place is good.

We've been members of Columbia Association for about 3-4 years and love it. When I'm healthy, I go 4x per week, mostly Body Pump and Yoga. The whole family goes, and everyone who works there is wonderful. Great instructors for the classes, great people behind the counter, and great everything. Very happy with everything.

I went to the Columbia Gym as my typical Columbia Association pool is shut down for routine maintenance. I was doing lap swimming and a father and two children came into my lane. I almost ran into the one child as not only can you barely see in this pool they were dead stopped in the lane. The other child I came within half a foot of collision with as he walked down the side of the lane. Both myself and another swimmer who was having similar problems in another lane talked to the lifeguards who said this was acceptable as the other people in the lanes were to one side. So they allowed them to swim in the lane the entire time. In addition, another lap swimmer got into my same lane and could only access about half of it further making it even more of a collision course. As a former lifeguard myself and frequent lap swimmer I have never seen this allowed in any pool. Had I not been doing a forward stroke someone could have easily been hurt as lap swimmers typically swim at considerable speed. In addition this pool is very high in chlorine so you can not see more then two feet in front of you. If the lanes are to be used recreationally that is OK but consider ensuring there is a reservation system so it is a dedicated lane as this is very dangerous.

Well run place. Everything looks clean and in order. The staff is young but surprisingly friendly. The people tend to camp out at the machine they're using and that makes it unavailable to anyone else who wants to use it.

Their management is not professional. Due to covid their gym was shut and we also didn’t want to go. There was no one to cancel the membership. We made several attempts, left several voicemails but never heard back. We paid over $1000 without being able to go a single time. When finally someone answered no one knows where all my voicemails went. Very frustrating.

A backwards decision to remove the mirrors from Studio 1 with the lame explanation that " some members are self-conscious" (insert facepalm here). Back to puritan 17th century, I guess.

This location is very clean and spacious. This gym has an abundance of new and modern equipment. There are many hand sanitizer dispensers along with multiple sanitizing disinfectant stations.

Excellent Facilities and staff. Multiple gym classes and water classes. Try the aerobics classes.

The Columbia Gym is a wonderful part of the Columbia Association network of fitness facilities. It is our go-to gym for weight training, cardio, and swimming. The staff is great and the equipment is clean and maintained.

Our experience here was very disappointing. Our car was vandalized and our workout space was invaded aggressively. As a person of color we were harassed, threatened and made to feel as if we did not matter. If negative stars were available that would be the rating for this facility.

My first experience was very unpleasant and unwelcoming. I was told by Kathy to come at 2 for a tour and possibly to sign up for membership. I arrived at 2 with my family and was told by the unwelcoming front desk staff that Kathy went out to lunch. No call, no telling me not to come later, nothing. Too many red flags for me to spend almost $200 month for a membership.

Took the aqua fitness class. It was a great workout. Peggy, the teacher, leads a great workout with lots of fun.

Crowded, dark. Germ packed BEFORE COVID. Rude users. Staff nice but thankless task.

Friendly and helpful staff, very clean and following covid guidelines, plemty of equipment as well.

I’m updating my rating from 1 to 3 stars after 2023 upgrades. Gym is cleaner and more airy now. Still overpriced and weekend hours are very limited.

A spacious and clean gym has a cardio room, free weights, swimming, a variety of group classes to choose from, and even a women's gym with all the amenities on a smaller scale.

Historically, I've gone there for Zumba or swimming laps. The facility is always clean and the staff friendly and professional.

Great environment, great staff, we go to this gym almost every day. We love everything about this place, we wish that they upgrade the locker rooms and showers, specially family showers. Hope this happens soon.

Had to pay a significant buyout when we moved away after 6 months. When we originally signed we were told there was no difference between monthly and yearly and were pressured into yearly so I guess that was a lie. Edited after leaving These issues were resolved within a week with a reduced buyout of the remaining time. The gym is pretty good overall, with a good array of well maintained equipment and a relatively amiable staff. Sometimes you get the general mob of people, but overall the gym was well kept and it was an overall good place to work out.

Filthy Pool, Towels smell sour, they wash them poorly when its busy so that they can keep up the towels. Floors are dirty. Yoga Mats are never wiped down. toilets are clogged often. Staff uses bare hands for dirty towels as well as fold towels

Decent location, not as vibrant as the other gyms in the system but certainly gets the job done, happy to have it in the area.

Friendly wait staff and it’s always very clean here, go here quite often but it can get crowded depending on the time. If I’m the morning it’s very nice. I love just how nice this gym is and even just the Columbia association I would recommend it to anyone looking for one.

The pool is very dirty. Can't see the bottom. But we are bound to go there, it's closet pool to us. Other facilities inside the Columbia Gym are much, much better and cleaner. Stuff - very friendly and trying to accommodate. For God's sake, pretty please, flush that pool and clean it! Its only so much to do.

Great fitness center...just about any type of cardio, strength or group fitness is available...the pool is very nice..hot tub is excellent..and the staff is the best...

They've got an indoor pool with the slanted beach walk-in for the kids. It's great to take the kids in the winter, to get them to run around.

Rude Staff who target minorities. many incidents of kicking out minorities. Gym is not clean (pool, towels, locker rooms, machines). management is clueless, managers choke when complaints are made.

!! Boys consistently dashing into ladies shower room !! Great neighborhood gym - close by and convenient. Facility is up to date. However, there has been violation of policy in the women's locker room. I've noticed way too many incidents of boys WAY older than 3 years old (ranging from 7 - 11 years old) dashing into the shower room where ladies are taking a shower. This has been notified to the staff member and manager himself multiple times. 1. First time when I had enough and told the manager, he convinced ME to understand his situation. But, this is why they have family locker room in the first place. 2. Staff would not directly confront the issue right away when mentioned. It feels like this issue is ignored and not taken care of properly. This simple policy should be taken care of seriously for ladies privacy. There are teens and young girls in there too! Do not convince the girls and ladies to understand dashing boys into our locker room and instead, enforce this simple policy!!
