Very nice little walking trail. You can walk the whole one-way trail and back in 30-45 minutes. It is mostly a wood walkway with some dirt and gravel areas. There are a lot of birds, frogs and turtles to see. Small parking area at the beginning with a portable restroom. Would not recommend for a wheelchair as there are muddy areas.

The park was nicely maintained. New boards were evident on the board walk. The trail was cut back and litter free. Great little gem in the Highspire community!

Such a great place. Lots of open space, peaceful, serene. The one way walking trail is lovely. It is easy and shaded and not buggy.

We randomly stopped here to eat lunch quick at the pavilion and then took a short walk only over the 1st bridge of the trail. It was very clean and well kept grass field and trail. Would definitely come back again to walk the whole trail when we have more time:)

We love this little park. The majority of the walking trail is wooden plank, with a little bit of roughness (stone). Parts can get muddy, so if it has recently rained, wear proper footwear! The reservoir attracts a lot of birds and other wildlife! We love to go after a decent rain. There is a gazebo with picnic tables and a small grill, but also a large open field as you're walking closer to the start of the trail--perfect for picnics and playing Frisbee.

Great trail, plenty of wildlife to spot here. Easy walk on the boardwalk and stone trail. Also great for bikes. There is a covered picnic area and a huge grass field on the Whitehouse Lane entrance. Stop and check it out all year round!

A fairly short but beautiful walk and an impressively well kept trail/boardwalk with ample shade. Bug spray wouldn't hurt depending on your visit timing, but always a wonderful assortment of wildlife if you're inclined to watch. The trail is a mostly flat, mostly straight and is less than 1 mile each way with a few benches along the way. Turtles, herons and other birds, snakes, frogs, and fish are regularly seen, and just this morning I crossed paths with a fox. This trail has quickly become my favorite Highspire feature.

A Wonderfull nature trail. My backyard goes a foot into the water. Home to many creatures that get a chance to grow. Hugest oldest groundhog you 3ver will see has 3 spots on my property that I know of. Largest snappers I ever saw always nesting, currently on a bark pile. If you show up at the right time you will see hundreds of baby snapper turtles. Squirells and their families, with alwaysone whiteback and another upcoming adolescent, and lots and a huge variety of birds af9r the area.. White and Blue Herons, 3agles, and Continental Ducks afoot. Aong with the 24/7 airforce trainings and the occasional Air Force 1, which in my opinion is only noteworthy and Completely dependent on that current puppet. To break gramercy, who doesn't love dissing an orange mop?

Generally this is a pretty ok park. Lots to do, the neighborhood is generally safe, lots of sports. One down side, they did find a body here about a year ago that appeared old. I was quite surprised, because this isn’t a dangerous area. I would come back

Tree lined path out and back. Parking and porta potties at both ends. One of our favorite short hikes.
