We were not prepared for what we found, as Google had this place listed below McDonald's when we asked for best restaurants in Plainwell. After two pleasant and positive experiences in Plainwell earlier this week, we found the best in the area. It was packed out...a good indicator Our server, Megan, was very helpful. We had a nice mesquite beef skewer appetizer, and Staci had maple mustard ribs, while I had the whitefish Grenoble. Good choices! We had dessert, which is unusual for us. I had the toffee crunch bread pudding and Staci the carrot cake. Both the coffee and decaf were excellent. The presentation on all the courses was very nice, and the food was delicious! Price was actually quite reasonable, we thought. Well done, Four Roses!

We had such a wonderful dinner with friends here this evening. They have a lovely atmosphere, nice and classy yet okay for a casual meal as well. Our dinners were delicious - each of us were very happy with the meals that we ordered. The waitress was friendly, but also very professional and have excellent service.

I made arrangements for my parents to celebrate their 59th Wedding Anniversary. I had went to Four Roses Cafe and spoke with waitress and she took care of them like King and Queen. They were so happy and enjoyed everything from beginning to end (including dessert). Thank you Four Rose for taken care of my parents on there special day❤️❤️❤️. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the duck. My dad said it was excellent!!!

We were celebrating our anniversary on a Friday evening, and it was packed. We made reservations, as we have been wanting to come here for quite some time. We ordered the cranberry pecan brie with toast as an appetizer, which was delicious! For dinner, we had the chicken and rice dish (can't remember the name - no longer on menu) and the Bell's Braised Beef. It was outstanding!! Of course, we had to get desserts (made in house). We ordered the peanut butter pie and the sticky toffee pudding. They were absolutely amazing!! The food, service, and overall experience was very good!! If they were closer to us, it would easily be added into our restaurant rotation!

Although this restaurant is nice. More like... just wannabe...upscale country restaurant... Not an u la la place.. Food is pricey..$$ My thoughts are this: The entrees are over fancified (titles) And the combinations of ingredients for dishes...are not all that good.. I definitely DID NOT have any first bites..and think...oh man is this good!! it's food It's edible.. But...not a wow meal... Food was absolutely delicious, it is a really nice restaurant, the prices here aren’t much higher than other restaurants but the quality and the flavor of the food are definitely much better than those of a lot of other places’. We will go back for sure!! Highly recommend Boursin Stuffed Portobello and their desserts are a must try, their all tasty and the right portion!

My first time here and I will be back! Taylor was great! The food was wonderful!

Took my wife here for the first time for her birthday. Service was great. I had the mesquite skewer for an appetizer. That was absolutely fantastic. Good amount of meat with it. Just wish it had like 3 or 4 more grilled onion pieces with it. The one piece that did come with it along with the other peppers had great flavor. We were very happy with all of our food. Huge drink menu. Huge dessert menu. We were very pleased with everything. We will definitely return.

We dined outside on patio and loved the experience. Well built and decorated nicely. Low volume music, fans and lights. Made the atmosphere a must to revisit. As usual the food was outstanding. Portobello appetizer was delicious. Ribs were really good as well. And finally the staff was timely and friendly. This restaurant is a repeater!

Great food excellent service the prices are kinda high but why not treat your self to great establishment that treats you warm and welcome.

Good food. My son had the best medium rare stake, although rice was not well cooked. The stake was expensive at $42!

I ordered the Bells Braised Beef. It was excellent!!! My complements to the chef! Service was also great! Not too often we get dessert, but am I glad we did. Cranberry Bread Pudding was incredible!!! Ok I'm running out of exclamation points. We will be definitely come back for a second visit sooner than later. Great place to eat!

We were celebrating a birthday on a Wednesday night. They were super busy but our waitress, Cassie M. went above and beyond to get a vegan meal for one person in our party. She was fantastic, food was excellent and the service was quick. Desserts of course are stellar.
