Mike is a great instructor with little kids. He's the perfect amount of firm and friendly. He smiles while he yells. Karate is a physical sport, it isn't easy; but Mike tempers his being strict while showing compassion. He focuses on selfcontrol and technique. I see my kids going here for many years. Definitely recommend! I also go here myself for kickboxing. As a lazy couch potato with no endurance, no physical fighting experience, and a handicap; I've never felt more than welcome! After a few months I've noticed positive physical changes and am so proud of myself. I'll definitely recommend Ekim's to anyone looking to check out karate or kickboxing!

This is a Great place to bring you kids, teenagers and even for adults! Mike is very knowledgeable and a excellent couch! It's more than a gym. More like a family! Everyone are very welcoming! Great role models!

I signed my son up for the Little Dragon program in November and Master Mike has been amazing with him! He needed some confidence, some listening ears and discipline. He's succeeding and doing great. The changes have been great. Master Mike is a fabulous leader for these kiddos!

We came to karate for my four year old to help with discipline, listening, following directions, and physical activity. He was not interested in team sports at his young age. Mike is excellent with my son who had trouble holding still and focusing. He is patient with just the right amount of discipline. My son loves karate and his teacher. I would highly recommend.

My kids attend karate classes at Ekim's and my husband attended karate classes there for years. Ekim's is a great place for people of all ages to train in karate, MMA, or kickboxing. Master Mike is an amazing teacher and he is so good with the kids. The kids love going to class and definitely look up to Mike as a role model. Ekims is an amazing dojo. Mike is an excellent teacher, who trains respectful students. My son takes karate here, and my brother and I did too. I always feel welcome in the dojo. I can't recommend them enough.

Mike is wonderful, patient, and professional with all ages! Kickboxing is my daughters favorite thing because of Master Mike. She has learned confidence, how to defend herself, and strength! The atmosphere makes you feel very welcome!
