I visited here seeking relief from chronic back pain, and I must say that Macky has been an incredible help in alleviating my discomfort. It has been approximately two months since I started receiving treatment, and I can confidently say that my pain has significantly diminished. Macky’s expertise and dedication have played a crucial role in my healing journey. I highly recommend their services to anyone struggling with back pain.

After 15 long weeks of training for the Chicago marathon 5 weeks before I injured my knee. I tried a few things at home for about a week with no relief and getting worse to the point of limping. I live in the area and decided to give Athletico a try. I called to schedule an appointment with Macky, all therapist have great reviews but I read a couple mentioning Macky treating knee problems. I got in within couple days and Macky was very thorough with his assessment and most importantly optimistic telling me there was some hope that I could still run the marathon in 4 wks. At this point I was so discouraged that even thinking it wasn’t possible to fully recover in time for the marathon just hearing him say that made me feel so much better and I told him “if I can still finish the marathon after your treatment you deserve the medal”. After two weeks of IT band treatment, strengthening and stretching exercises no more pain and no more limping! After 3 long weeks of zero running and 2 weeks before the marathon started running little by little and the day of the marathon decided to give it a try. I am happy and grateful to say that after this long journey and thanks to Athletico team and Macky I completed my marathon 26.2 miles with no knee pain and or discomfort. Thank you Macky Mahusay!

Would recommend this facility to anyone. All the folks who work here are fantastic and very welcoming. I worked with Macky for over the course of 2 months, and I’d recommend him to anyone as an A+ PT. His positivity is infectious, and he helped me recover quickly. I was doing things I couldn’t do even before my injury. Thanks, Macky!!! You’re the best!

Erin and Sarah has been soo professional and great to work with, they did such a great job with me recovering the first time, I just refuse to go anywhere else, I will and always recommend them to everyone.

I had a partial tear of my tendon in my foot, I was recommended by my Doctor to do physical therapy, having two different therapy locations near me , I decided to give Athletico a try. Not knowing what to expect , I scheduled my appointment started therapy and OMG!!My therapist Mackey has healing hands, he was awesome, he knew exactly what needed to be done. He is very professional, such a nice person. I highly recommend him and Athletico on Irving park Road in Bensenville. Ethan, Reina, Mayra and the rest of the staff are also very nice . Unfortunately today was my last day, and I will miss them. Luckily I live 2 minutes away and I may just stop by to say hello ; ) . Wishing everyone the best. The staff (particularly my therapist Macky) is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The facilities are very clean and spacious. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The 2 lads here working here are great people and they improved my back like crazy. I’m extremely proud of them and they deserve the best. They are called Macky and Ethan and when I came here, I was greeted wonderfully. They treated me with respect and did their jobs very well. I had a lower back problem and they said it was a muscle tear. After 4 sessions, there was almost no pain. I appreciate them and I love them so much.

My therapist, Macky has been working with me a few weeks 3 x week now one in one. Since I started my therapy and during each session I've have received friendly and professional treatments. Macky makes it comfortable and motivating to do the necessary therapy. Totally doing better than before. It's remarkable. Thank you. 😊
