The shows are breathing taking and fun. Wonderful and quiet room for an amazing price that is very worth it after a long day. Small but cozy indoor pool. Outdoor pool is available regarding the season. Room service was very polite and quick (30 mins) not regarding how full the restaurants were after the events and shows. Plenty of parking.

.. three night stay: older resort (originally built in 1965) at midpoint between Chicago and Milwaukee, and is showing it; modern soft goods in dated concept; low rise, horizontal, very spread out. Great for families, meetings, weddings, etc., and the theatre and golf course are a plus, but needs some serious reinvestment to bring the room architecture up to modern standards.

I booked a stay in advance with a group rate for a large event that was taking place on site. As I was preparing for the event I checked for my confirmation and found that I no longer had it in my email, my fault for not printing it out. I contacted the resort to confirm and found they did not have a reservation in my name. I talked with multiple people both at the resort and with Marriott. All were happy to book a room for $499 per night vs the original rate of $159 and would not budge on honoring the original rate. It was also suggested by multiple people that if the group were to add an additional block of rooms for the event they could then honor the $159 rate. While talking with the sales department at the resort about the group, the reservation and honoring the rate I was told the the resort was sold out for my dates and they would be unable to help me any further. So in a matter of 30 minutes they went from having enough rooms to add to the group block to being completely sold out. I also find it odd that after getting off the phone there were still many rooms available on any number of web sites.

Although this is an older property, it is well maintained. The rooms and bathrooms are small but they are also well maintained. The staff were very pleasant. The facility itself is huge. I went there for a conference and the conference facility was great and their AV team was on the ball.

Came to see "Buddy, the Buddy Holly Story". This show was AMAZING. The theater is always great. It's fun for kids since there is no bad seat and they are so close to the action.

We stay here often. It is great in the summer, the pool is nice. Sundays are perfect as it is quiet. It is a wedding destination so weekends can be crazy. We love the bar/restaurant. The food and wait staff are great. Close to Starfish Sushi, a must!

This place holds a special spot in my heart because I got married here in the grand marquee tent years ago. Best wedding! I have been going here longer for plays and weekend get aways. I've eaten in the restaurants and they are good. Pool is nice. You will enjoy

We have had season tickets to the Marriott Theater for years. We always get free nights at the hotel and have always loved the convenience of going to the show and walking back to our room, many times after stopping at the restaurant for an appetizer and drinks. It’s all right there and makes for a very nice night out. The rooms are older, but always clean and we have never had any issues. There are many places to sit in the lobby and it’s a great atmosphere to be in!

Well maintained facility. Rooms are clean and look like they have been recently updated. Coffeemaker and refrigerator in the room but no microwave. Shower head is high enough that you don't have to duck under it to use it with excellent water pressure. The restaurants on site required reservations due to their popularity because the food is very good. Pepsi products served here. Don't even bother asking for a Coke. Friendly, helpful staff.

Great location for events or visiting family in the area. Rooms have plenty of space and the parking lot is convenient to access the rooms after you check in. Staff was very friendly and the amenities are plentiful, indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi, fitness room, and located next to the Des Plains River Trail which is excellent for walking, bicycling, birding and more. There are plenty of food options on site and more in the area too.

Great hotel! Covid has not been kind to my waistline and the hotel was so thoughtful as to upgrade me into a bathroom that you have to almost walk through sideways it was so narrow.

Overall I enjoyed this hotel a lot! The service was fast and friendly, and the rooms were clean. The gym was alright, but extremely spacious. Lots of parking and things to do locally! It seems like a safe area as well.

We were here last weekend to celebrate my hubby birthday. We had friends come and hang out at Wright’s. The managers were awesome and our waitress Amanda was awesome. The front desk crew Kendrick and Cheryl were awesome also. Our guests had never been here and said they will book in the future. My only suggestion is to have the furniture updated in the rooms. The couch was a little low and sometimes the toilet needed help filling up. But we enjoyed our time here.

Traveled here for work a few weeks back and I can honestly say I hope to stay here again on business. The property is one of the most bizarre hotel concepts I’ve seen out of Marriott and it’s laid out horizontally so you can easily spend 15 minutes walking end-to-end, but it’s got everything you need - nice rooms, comfortable beds, showers with great pressure and heat, Starbucks, a good restaurant on-site, and plenty of convenient parking options. I only dock one star on rooms because you can tell by the design it’s a few years old, but you’d never know by the extra lengths taken to provide a clean, comfortable, amenity-laden experience. I usually prefer newer properties because they haven’t been collecting dust for as many years, but the cleaners do very well here. Location-wise, extremely convenient for business travelers with rental cars or for families traveling to the suburbs with their own vehicles. NOT a good location if you plan to commute downtown. Quick access to highway, shopping, groceries, and restaurants. Had excellent availability of food delivery while staying here as well (for the one night out of 5 I chose not to eat at their restaurant on-site).

This site is not very receptive to concerns or complaints. The facility has a coffee/expresso/latte machine in there M room which is supposed to be special for Bonvoy members but the machine will just do coffee. I can make regular coffee in my room. Nothing special there. I received an email about the event on New Year's Eve that directed me to just go to the front desk and reserve my tickets and when I did I was dismissed to the box office. The room and bathroom set up are not laid out well. There is very little shelve space to put towels and toiletries. The towels were left on the back of the toilet. There is no overhead lights and the room was very difficult to see in and get dressed or work.

What an incredible waste of money. Sad to think that we stayed in this dump after our wedding. Walk in the man at the front desk tells us “this is not mcdonalds” after we asked if there was room service (this was at 1:15). Then we got to our “suit”.. mold on the bathroom sealing and a vent literally hanging off of the sealing. We literally decided to drive home rather than staying in this dump.

Rooms are well kept but do not have basic amenities like water bottles or tea/coffee. No real breakfast options within the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful

My room was fairly dirty. Mold in my coffee maker. They won’t bring a lot of items to your room. Sort of a weird hotel for being a “resort” and having such a large campus. I wouldn’t stay here again.

This review is for the onsite restaurant. I am half asleep and could not let this review go unheard. We had a table of about 12, which was not a great idea. There was only one waitress for the entire place so it seemed. Food was ordered and came out ok. The service issue occurred when it took a very long time to get the bill. And, After eating the plates were still on the table even for a noticeably long time, although there was an abundance of workers to clear the table. Not even gonna mention that the waitress never asked us if we needed anything else. Everyone at the table seemed bothered, which put my husband and I at ease because we originally thought it was just us. It's after 9 pm and by this time we are waiting for our bill. We received the bill 30 minutes or so after completing our meal. The 17% gratuity was not earned because of the wait and the mess. Sitting in front of all the thirty dishes for a spell after eating was a bother. I even noticed a short security guard walking around our table twice. Weird. One person in our party complained about the plates, which prompted the manager to clear the table.

The bridal room to get ready in has no where to hang dresses, it’s definitely not a good room for taking nice photos. There was no key to get in so we left the door unlocked. Someone stole my shawl for my wedding dress and my sweater. The “day of” coordinator was almost nonexistent, they helped us walk down the isle and that's it. They stopped people from signing my guestbook and actually hid it under the table so not even half of my guests signed it. They never gave us the top to our cake. Also, as for the payments, they were 5,000 each time. they did mention that the last payment would be more but not 18,000 because of gratuity and tax. They also said it would be 20 grand for everything but the grand total ended up being 35,000 just for the venue, food, and drinks. So when they say it's 20,000 just know it's actually around 35,000 and please get your own day of coordinator!

Lincolnshire Marriott Resort graciously hosted our Jeeps On The Run Toys For Tots event. They did amazing to be able to accommodate 500 Jeeps along with 2 semis that we fill.

The staff here are great, everyone was friendly, rooms are clean. The reason for my 4 star is this isn't really a resort. It's a business hotel with conference room- all of which are nice, but a bit dated. If you are looking for a standard business hotel this will work well, but if you are looking for a resort feel - this isn't it.

This is a beautiful property, with many amenities. However, it is not safe, or secure. Unfortunately my laundry was stolen from the laundry area here (the area is an open door, not secured by guest key) and there is an event space directly next to it. The hallways are poorly lit, and do not have cameras. If you have children, please watch them carefully, as quite literally anyone can come in, access the amenities (including outdoor pool), and the laundry room. The lack of cameras here are very concerning, and disappointing.

We had some minor issues upon arrival and the rooms were unique. Staff and service was very good. However the restaurant was very very cold and pool hours were confusing. Management was also very good but overall the hotel/resort needs some updating. Mostly with the rooms.

It's one of my favorite places. The manager, Brett, is not friendly toward people like us. Carlos is a great bartender. I still always enjoy my visit here with family.

The PERFECT venue for a wedding. Fantastic service, clean, updated rooms, convenient dining/coffee/ bars. Nice indoor & outdoor pool.

Went there for a wedding this past weekend. When I walked into my room, there was a dog barking continuously in the next room that evening, should’ve known better, was woken up to a barking dog at 5 AM the next morning and when I open my blinds to the first floor patio, the dog left his business outside my patio and on the sidewalk. My room charge and room rate didn’t coincide with my credit card !! Wasn’t a pleasant stay to say the least !!

It's tucked away and not visible from the main road. Nice facilities. Lots of hallways. I had a great sleep and wish I had looked at what kind of mattress I was on.

The resort was in a beautiful area. Reception staff were most helpful and I was directed to a walking track that took me to a nearby store where I could get groceries. An awesome place away from Chicago to rest up and attend conferences.

Staff was courteous and polite. Check in and out went smoothly. Great rate. Room was spacious and stylish. Onsite restaurant was nice with good service. I had to call the front desk with a housekeeping issue. Phone was answered on that 2 ring and someone came up immediately. Great location with many attractions in reasonable distance. Definitely recommend.

I had an amazing stay at this resort. The room was clean, well organized, and had a great view of a lake. The front desk staff was courteous and extremely helpful. If in the area again, I will look first to Lincolnshire Marriott Resort, first for a place to stay.

Large resort with a variety of options, but in serious need of updates. This place is huge! While only three stories tall, the hallways seemingly don't end. Expect a wedding/event every weekend meaning parking will be difficult to find until the wedding/event is over. Rooms are basic. Gym is stuck in the 90s. Dated yellow/beige walls and floors. Ceiling tile that's stained. Old equipment.

Great place! We went for a convention/show. The spaces were nicely sized and well kept. On site restaurants were excellent. Management and staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I had a room option that gave me an upgraded room since I had my wife, our son, two dogs, and myself. We were up for the renaissance fair that was going on in Wisconsin. I was offered a room on the first floor with a patio which helped significantly with the dogs. I really appreciate the offer, but was not informed that it was going to be smaller than the bigger room i was upgraded to. As an individual who travels and stays with Marriott almost every week, i was a little disappointed in the M Club. You are told that when you arrive that it will not be operating to full capacity as it would be during the week. Also when we informed the front desk about there not being water, they said they would not be restocking it because it was not operating at full capacity. Even the other refreshments such in the refrigerators were not stocked and maintained. I have stayed at other Marriott's with M clubs stock constantly and way better than this one was.

Not quite a five star rating experience here but a pleasurable stay nonetheless. Let me start with the downs. Parking lot, its time to repave the parking lot Marriott! There are potholes everywhere! Especially on the overflow parking lot. Rooms need to also be updated also. I had to have a technician come to my room and fix the TV because it wouldn't turn on. Aside from that, the rooms and bathrooms were overall very clean. The room had a nice view of a small woody area. Staff was friendly and check in was very quick. Overall hotel was quiet and easy to get in and out from.

We had the honor of planning our wedding and reception at Lincolnshire Marriott Resort. What a beautiful venue and location, and the amenities offered are just so wonderful too! Our wedding had been affected by COVID, as I am sure many are/had been. Kassandra, the general manager, and Christine, our wedding specialist, were so accommodating and generous with their time and resources. There are so many wonderful things I would like to share about them and how amazing they have been in this process! This has been such a whirlwind trying to figure everything out, and they have been nothing but helpful and accommodating to ensure our happiness for our special day. Not only did they each reach out to us individually to see if we needed anything, but collectively as the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort Team. I highly recommend this venue not only for the beautiful location and property, but also for the experience of working with such amazing staff members! From the time we walked into the front door until we left the parking lot, each member was so kind and helpful! What an amazing staff and venue for a wedding or event! Special shout out goes to Christine, she is literally one of the best human beings out there. She was so gracious, kind and honest which is exactly what we needed. Lincolnshire Marriott, thank you for helping us out when this crazy season and circumstances has hit us all!

I'd like to inform readers of a rather disturbing matter regarding my stay at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort in IL. The day prior to checkout while opening the drapes, I discovered a pair of black, worn, women's panties covered in dust in the corner of my room. Clearly, they had been there for quite some time. The sheer absence of attention to sanitary standards at this hotel is abhorrent. I'd rather not imagine what other ghastly things lurk under that roof. Upon reporting this disgusting event to the front desk manager, I was told that because I booked my stay through Expedia, there was nothing he could do and then had the audacity to offer me a cup of coffee as a solution - as if I had some sort of an appetite after making such a discovery. The lack of effort and professionalism (never mind the level of filth) at this tier of a hotel reinforces why it would have been a much better idea to endure the inconvenience of driving 30 extra minutes to my destination and staying at The Four Seasons. The room should have been comped immediately, irrespective of how the stay was booked. But my expectations far exceed the standards of the Marriott, which are subterranean. Marriott International needs to get a hold of their hotels and the staff they're hiring. I think quite the restructuring is in order. This is unacceptable and inexcusable. Any guest making discoveries like these has also made the grave error of mistaking this establishment for a hotel. Beware: booking through third parties practically gives these establishments immunity, regardless of the situation. Real slick. You could probably die there and all anyone will get is a cup of coffee. As a matter of public health, save your money, level up, and book directly with the hotels or you'll be left holding the bag... or a pair of used underwear.
