My family went out for mother’s day dinner. I understand that it was busy day but the chairs were too crowded, so had very limited space (the place wasnt packed either). The server was also very busy so we had to wait a while for the server to serve us. He gave us drink, but the bread was served very later. I also didn’t realize that they had kids meal (I assumed they didnt have it so forgot to ask) until I read reviews now since the server never gave it to my kids. The food tasted good overall. Calamari was fresh, juicy and crispy. Steak was a bit sour, but onions that came with were very sweet and tasty. Frutti de mare acqua pazza with linguini was amazing! My meat lover husband loved it more than the steak. We loved it so much that we ordered another one. One downside is that the portion size was a bit too small. Overall the food was great and would definitely come back!

You enter this establishment from a strip mall, but the moment you walk in you forget that. The dining areas and private rooms are well situated and not cramped. The dishes I sampled were good but lacking in that pop in your mouth moment. I actually think it was because they didn't add salt or pepper, which is desirable. Adding some myself, which I rarely do, added that little bit that was lacking and it is good to be able to control that yourself. I sampled 3 desserts, all of which were amazing. Tiramisu is my favorite dessert and this did not disappoint. The PROFITEROLES, Warm cream puffs, pistachio gelato, chocolate sauce was fantastic. I also sampled the bread pudding with salted caramel Gelato, also amazing.

We dropped by for lunch. The complimentary bread was fresh and perfect with the herbed olive oil and Parmesan. We ordered: - Linguini al Sugo Dr Gamberi et Zafferano: linguini with shrimp and scallops. Flavorful but with 2 scallops and 2 shrimps - panino de pisce: white fish with caper aioli sauce in ciabatta bun. The fish was fresh and delicious. The bun did not complement the meal. Service was friendly and not rushed. Our server was a very Italian, animated, funny and wonderful gentleman who will tell it as it is. The space gives a classic Italian restaurant feel. Prices are reasonable for lunch.

Jose and Moises made our event seamless! Every guest greeted with a glass of Prosecco and so much attention paid to all guests throughout the event. Thank you!

We went to Francesca’s North fort our company’s Christmas party. The food , drinks, deserts and service were so amazing. I will definitely come back with my friends and family. Jose, Benny and the rest of the staff assigned to our party went above and beyond to make us feel amazing. Thank you!

What an amazing place to have our bridal shower! It was perfect from beginning to end! Thank you, Lisa, for all the extra perks and for making it a beautiful day. Thank you Margo and Myron for all your help with serving the delicious food and being so attentive to all our guests needs. Everyone ranted and raved about how wonderful the shower was. Sophie was amazing and so hospitable. This is our second time coming here , the music, the atmosphere, the appetiser- Asparagus salad was one of the best we’ve tried. Salmon as a main was so unique and the pasta with eggplant was amazing. The berries bread pudding was so mouthwatering so I highly recommend this place.

Really enjoy coming here for lunch when we can. There are not many places that are still open for lunch that provide great food and service anymore. So when we get the chance to stop in here for a quick bite to eat we also enjoy it and wish we could come more often.

Went to the botanical garden and while heading home thought to try this place after seeing some great reviews . Initially the place looked small but from inside it was nice . We were seated quickly and served with their classic bread olive oil and cheese . We ordered the bruschetta which was excellent . For drinks we ordered red wine since it pairs well with the food we ordered . For the main course we ordered the white fish and salmon with shrimp for me . Honestly the fish both of them were cooked to perfection . I felt the salmon was done wayyyyy better than the white fish . Even the veggies were too good . For the dessert we ordered the cream puffs and tiramisu with cappuccino. Tiramisu was out of the world . Cream puffs were just ok . Overall we loved the place

Last night we had a 5 star experience for dinner. We were taking a friend out to dinner that had a walker when we arrived at Francesco's in Northbrook, IL. The hostess was so pleasant and so accomodating to make our dining inside experience comfortable and relaxed. The staff pulled the table out so our friend could be seated comfortably and took his walker and tucked it away until we needed it again. They made it a point to ask us to reach out to them anytime we needed the walker. Many staff members would make sure our dishes were clear when we finished, continually making us feel comfortable at our table. Our Server explained everything on the menu and shared his favorites before we selected. I highly recommend this place as their customer service and meals were excellent and the atmosphere was very welcoming and a cozy restaurant.

I had the Caesar salad (which they very kindly split onto two plates for me and my colleague who I was sharing with) and vodka pasta. They were both great and large portions. Seating was comfortable. The pasta was clearly homemade and made well! My coworkers enjoyed their meals and drinks as well. We did make a reservation so I'm not sure how long the wait would be normally.

The food was pretty much what you d expect from a classic Italian restaurant such as Fransescas. But the star of the show tonight was our server. From the moment we met her, she treated us as if we were long lost friends with smiles and so much gratitude. She made really good recommendation and was willing to go beyond to make sure we had a great dinner, definitely going back just to eat and enjoy her spirit again. Thank you Kim.
