Sap sap wings are delicious, sauce is very nice. The fried rice has nice smoky flavor from the wok, very nice. Panag crunch noodles has good flavor profile but the noodles became soggy , because of to go i guess. Mango sticky rice was good, mango was fresh. Red curry chicken is a disaster, it is not coconut milk, some flour was used to replicate it.

Probably one of my easiest reviews ever. This place is adequate in a pinch. I came around lunchtime.  There was no one to be seen to take my order or to seat me. Took a while to get service like more than 2 minutes. However the service got better once I no longer had the new girl. I recommend. Medium to spicy everything to enjoy the flavors. I ordered wings (the first thing I ordered) but somewhere along the way they forgot my order. I did finally get my wings after my entree came. The Sap Sap wings were pleasantly good and spicy. Had a little nose run which I like. I also had Beef Pepper Steak. I enjoy a good gravy. It was rich and thick like I like it. Tasty too but not GREAT or OUTSTANDINGin any way! The highlight of my meal was the Thai Iced Tea. Never had it but definitely will have it a third time. I say 3rd because I got another to go. Warning,  dont drink this stuff at night. You will never sleep. All in all not a bad place. Small hard to find in a strip mall. They have video gambling if you are into that. Just a quiet place off the path in the daytime. I am going to give it 3.5 stars. I have had better everything except the tea. Hopefully they get better in service and not forgetting part of your order or giving you a menu so you CAN order.

Absolutely amazing!!! I've been here several times and it never disappoints. Definitely the best Thai on the south side and their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend the panang chicken curry.

I went back to Spicy Thai Lao because I was fired up for a decent Thai meal. Big letdown. The springs rolls had a really nice mix of veggies, but the wrap was literally like chewing rubber, you couldn't bite through it. There was plenty of chicken in the Panang Curry Chicken, but it was served in what was a watery broth of some sort. The brown rice was dry as well. The wait for the meal was close to an hour, and the place was a third full. I don't think I would recommend it at this point.

Was searching for Thai food restaurants, close to home, for take out & came across this nice place. The restaurant dining area is small yet inviting. The gentleman who took my order was very Friendly, Kind, Courteous, and Respectful. My food was cooked to order, fresh, Plentiful, and Delicious. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai & Spicy Thai style egg rolls. I will definitely recommend this place and will visit again.

Had my monthly Union meeting so needed a spot to have dinner before go to meeting. Looked up some Thi/Lao places near our meeting area. I stumbled across this, since I'm Laotian, so wanted to see how it was. Decent size dining area. It was just me and 4 other guest in restaurant, so for me it was very nice. Not very noisy just overhear the party next to me conversation, but able to drown them out. Lots of variety to choose from and I decided to try their Beef Larb, Crab Rangoon, and then their Thai Boat. I didn't know what that was, server explained it and once he said like a Pho, I was hooked. The Crab Rangoon came and they were on the tiny side compared to what I'm ise to and how they were made. It's not the shape of how most Crab Rangoon you typically see. I was bummed at first sight, but man once you take a bit, somehow that tiny little Rangoon, hard to explain, the taste was bigger than your eyes see. It really shocked me how good it was. The Thai Boat came out and that looked as good as it tasted. The Beef Larb came out last. You could tell this was freshly hand made, not like it was pre-made and they just scooped it out to serve. It was very good, I know they used an extra ingredient that I'm really not used to. Think fermented fish was added into it. That took a bit to get used to. It was still delicious. Price point was decent, it is within reason. Hand cooked that that tasted like home cooking is worth the price for me. Just to hear the words "sticky rice" when they asked if I wanted rice and gave me my rice options. I definitely recommend this place to give a try. They have a good amount of food on their menu. Also if into gaming, they have few slot machines to play, they have own area for just slot.

My favorite Thai cuisine all time. The egg rolls are delicious, and the beef pad Thai is perfect. Add your favorite meat and enjoy. The different sauces are also great to try. My go to order is beef pad Thai with egg rolls. The wings are also tasty.

In area working, love Thai food & tried this restaurant, food had horrible taste, shrimp fried rice tasted like shrimp was bad, when mentioned it they never offered to discount or anything. Horrible! Don't waste your money

Love this place. The food and service is great. The owner and his wife knows my family and it’s always a good time when coming in here. Great people. Keep up the good work.

I used to love this place when I lived nearby. I went recently and they’ve changed the recipe for the pad Thai it was awful, no flavor. So disappointed I drove over 40 minutes!

We ordered the spring rolls, pad see ewe, and seafood pad Thai! It was all delicious, made fresh, and spicy! If you love some seriously spicy Thai food this is your spot. Mild was a bit much for me and my husband was surely Challenged with the spicy selection, but it tasted so good you couldn’t put it down! I wish I would’ve known about this restaurant years ago! I cannot wait to come back and try another dish!

The food tasted wierd. It was dry and lacked flavor. I have had Thai food and this was not good. I spent too much money for what I got. So disappointed! I ordered the seafood pad thai and the shrimp tasted cold and the squid were big chunks. The noodles were cold.

Food was salty. I’m used to Pad Thai being sweet, spicy and savory. This lacked it all. The shrimp also tasted off. I just hope I don’t get sick. The Mongolian beef meat was tough and salty.

The inconsistencies on the flavor of the same dish ordered is what makes me hesitant on ordering here in the future. Of the 3 times I've tried it, only once was it so good. I'm not sure why the inconsistencies but it can be pretty disappointing. The wait time is a little long and the indoor atmosphere isn't inviting. It's dark and quiet. There is 1 dish that I really enjoyed and it was the curry noodle. The 2 dishes that stood out as inconsistent were the pad Thai and pineapple curry. I hope it improves though! The owner seems passionate and I hope it gets better in the future.

Respectfully, this was the worst mango sticky rice my husband and I have ever had. The rice was chewable, but the texture was still wrong for this dish. It was supposed to be sticky rice, but instead it was cooked jasmine rice (a bit dry) drenched in the sauce. The mangos were not ripe and were sour, and the sauce tasted like an oversugared watered down coconut milk. We were so excited to try it since we saw a few reviews saying how good it was, but we were let down, hard.

A local gem run by a nice couple. So need to be patient with service time but worth it given the friendly service. Come here for delicious basic Thai food that you would find at any Thai place. If you feel adventurous, plus is all the Lao dishes as the Wife/main cook is from the Thai/Lao border. The Thai egg rolls, curries, jackfruit salad, noodles are all delicious. We will be back for more date nights.

Place is kinda a hole in the wall, dated w/ slots machines on one side. First time carry out here (near closing time, Sat 12am) as there doesn't seem to be any decent Asian restaurants around Bridgeview area. Service and attitude was great but the food was hit and miss. I got the beef pad thai that was disappointing. Noodles were overdone and clumpy and not much flavor in the dish. Other dish was the basil chicken which was great. Very tasty and not too salty. I bit spicier than I'd like (asked for mild) but the flavor kept my tingling tongue at bay. Will return to try their wings which seems to be a hit and their fried rice.
