One of the sought after weekend getaways from Hyderabad and is usually a day trip. Start early to view the morning sunrise at the viewpoint. Just 143 Km from Hyderabad and takes under 3 hours. Must visit place.

Good one day trip from Hyderabad. You can start early in the morning. Stop at view point. Then cover ethipothala Waterfalls. Comeback for boating to Nagarjuna hill which starts at 9 30. Return by lunch time. Then visit Buddha vanam. Finally don't miss visiting vizag colony boating point.

Perfect for a short road trip from Hyderabad. From centre of Hyderabad, it would be a 3 hour journey. The view is amazing, best suited for Sunrise than Sunset. There are local shops for amenities nearby, but no toilets available. Also the Ethipothala water falls is nearby too. A recommended place before Monsoon :)

You can get some nice views of the dam. Nagarjuna Sagar dam has 26 gates. Depending on your day/time of visit as well as rainfall, the gates will be opened. A good time to visit will be during or just after monsoons. There are few spots you can park by the roadside. Street side fruits, juices are available throughout the stretch of road. It'd be great if local municipality did improvement for viewing and better parking management.

When u come.. don't come to view point pointed on Google maps.. it will take u to power grid station where u can't enter. Stop before that where I see a small parking type area on left side, go down the stairs and hv good bath and good view of dam There is a boating on Sagar, but it's on the way to view point on G-maps, U will see a board with new boating station something written on it, go there n take boating, timing are 11AM and 1:30pm After that go to ETHIPOTHALA WATERFALLS PARK If you are searching for this place, DO NOT SEARCH ETHIPOTHALA WATERFALLS, SEARCH FOR ETHIPOTHALA WATERFALL PARK. FIRST one will show 31 km from nagarjuna Sagar thru a very congested village, other one is just 13 km... Also have fish curry at the road side arc of Budhvanam.. it's damn good Enjoy the route

Very beautiful scenery with awesome nature. Nature is the mother where we are living . The view was awesome. When plenty of water is present the view makes it love with nature full of water which is life on this planet.when it is calm the beautiful scenery will comes. Nature is key for all the views where we are living for rent. Wonderful ghat area with plenty of nature scenes.

I truely admire the views, Scenery of the water body:It's wide dam with beautiful View which we can even sail on it by boating on boat and experience. This is one of the best exciting experience I have.

Excellent view but jus remember dont go in night time its with 0 lighting the view is excellent only till 6
