Now this is good Japanese food. I have been coming here for years (10 or so), little has changed. The food is still fantastic the original owners are still in place and the service is fantastic. It’s a small place, that gets busy quick for a good reason, all of the above. Prices have remained fair over the years. The best Japanese spot I know.

A Japanese run casual restaurant that's very popular for takeaways, but also offers limited dine in and al fresco seating. The food on offer includes typical Japanese rice and meat or fish rice and Bento meals, some sushi and various snacks and appetisers. Food is authentic for casual and quick Japanese Don and Bento meals and overall a great choice for an easy local Japanese meal. There may be better fast and easy Japanese, but this is possibly the best in Joondalup.

I had 9.60$ fish Katsu very decent portion if you are hungry. Potato salad was the star for me.

This is hands down the best Japanese, value-for-money good you’ll get in Perth. Maki and Tada make their food fresh, prices low and you’ll get quality every time! I usually dine in, just a tip: make sure you bring your own bag if you’re taking food away. ☺️ My best picks are the Fish Katsu bento, Katsu Curry Udon, Teriyaki Chicken Chirashi Don, Hamburger steak bento, potato croquette and Matcha Latte!

Small little restaurant but with great tasting food. Service was prompt and the staff were very friendly. The bento boxes were fresh and delicious. Will definitely return and try the other options on the menu.

One of the best value-for-money Japanese food in Joondalup area. The owners and cashier are very friendly too. They even remember my son’s dietary restriction and finds ways to make up for the no eggs dish with something else.

Friendly, quick service, authentic Japanese food. It had been a while since i had prawn tempura udon tasting so good!

Japanese cafe serving ramen and the usual Bento lunch boxes. I really enjoyed my Yakiniku beef set, $13.50. Warm, friendly service and the meal came out of the kitchen quick. These guys have been serving delicious, healthy fast food for many years so you know they're doing it right. Might try the Ramen next time I'm up this way.

One of my favourite places for curry udon, lunch boxes and rice bowl. My latest favourite is their teriyaki salmon sushi rice bowl. Full of texture and flavour! Teriyaki salmon and rice with sea weed, cucumber, caviar, ginger and wakame. Dressed with spicy mayonnaise. Yum 😋 Their curry udon with fish Katsu and chicken katsu ramen are also delicious.

Love this restaurant! Food is spectacular and the workers are so friendly. The owners are so cute and happy and a young lady who works there is so pretty and always up to have a friendly yarn. I like to make my way down the menu and everything so far has been superb. Camp fire songs will be made about their legendary potato salad 🔥
