This place is amazing. You can see how it inspired Walt Disney. You can walk around to enjoy the fine food and gardens without riding a ride. The food is high quality, not fast food. The shops are as nice as the ones found in town. As for the rides, the views from the tall swings are amazing. The ride on the old rollercoaster is fun and quite historic. The park changes clothes at night :-)

Great place. Have fun. Must visit if you are in Copenhagen. Tivoli Gardens is not just an amusement park, but an absolutely great place to have fun and enjoy drinks and food. The rides here are amazing and then you have surprising events all the time. One of the best places to visit in Copenhagen.

Went here before Christmas in December of 2023, at first I was not going to enter because there is an entrance fee, but I am very happy I did. Such an amazing place to take in a Danish Christmas. Beautiful place and experience. People of all ages will enjoy it, and there are rides for adults as with children. Definitely worth a visit and the entrance fee.

I think if not the best, one of the top parks in Europe. Great restaurants, coffee bars, theaters, garden, entertainment park in such a great combination. Especially if you visiting when it's ready for Christmas. So many activities and entertainment you will definitely enjoy! Must see for sure.

I brought a sibling here, and they loved it. I enjoyed it myself here as well. It's a very beautiful amusement park and I loved how it was connected to the food hall which has a variety of great food options. The staff were really kind and I believe it's safe to say that this is a must visit for everyone especially families. It's also very nicely located literally being in front of Copenhagen Central Station. I will definitely come back!

Amazing. If you’re in Copenhagen you have to go, no question. I have visited both during summer and to see the Christmas markets, both were great with the Christmas lights really taking the cake for me, I felt like I was in a movie. Rides are also great, but just seeing the lights and market stalls are also plenty to do. So many great food options inside for both food and desserts, so definitely come hungry.

A wonderland for kids - you have so many rides to choose from and so many candy shops too 😄. For adults, there are a quite a few options to eat and a big food court. A very nice place for a stroll around the garden. We were there during the Halloween decoration and it was amazing.

It's a wonderful, almost magical place. You can feel like you're in a fairy tale there. We visited on December 30th, and despite the large number of people, the vastness of the park made it feel uncrowded. In the evening, it has an even more enchanting charm. It's important to mention that using the Copenhagen Card, you can enter the park twice in one day by obtaining a special stamp. However, for some attractions, tickets are not always available at the machines - you need to purchase a package. For those who prefer not to buy packages, using the app might be somewhat inconvenient. My only suggestion - improve and maintain your app.

An absolute gem. Loved to go there as a child. Loved bringing my kids there today. So much packed in to such little space. Lots of quite beautiful spots. Lots of rides and games. Very friendly staff. We met up with friends and you can just walk around and talk. There was a gospel concert for free. Lots of good reasonable priced eating places. Highly recommended.

Nice amusement park. Not very big but right in the city centre. Beautiful decorations for Halloween and lovely restaurants. Some restaurants are very expensive. They have menus outside so no nasty surprises. A few good rides. Some are very scary. We went in November in the afternoon. The queues for the rides took about 20min. The weather was a bit cold. They have some shops too. Our friends found something to buy there. If you like the rides, you can easily spend all day in the park.

Great place to visit with friends, family or your loved ones. Decorated with astonishing lights. You will only fully enjoy them when is dark. I saw fountain show accompanied by classic music. That was fantastic experience. Rides look different from each other, very unique, but I didn't go on them. You have to pay extra to use them.

This park is amazing! It’s just stunning how beautiful it is during the day and even more during the night , it’s one of the oldest amusement park in Europe but it’s still keeping up with the most modern parks. I’d suggest everybody to spend an evening in this part to experience it and go back home with some fairy feelings

Stunning place. Relaxing and just a great place to visit. An oasis in the city centre. Gardens / Theme park, choose what you prefer or both. Either way it's got a relaxed atmosphere. If you visit Copenhagen this needs to be on your jobs list.

Such a gorgeous park in the middle of the city. I can see how Walt Disney was inspired by it to make Disneyland. However, for foreigners, it's SUPER expensive. Much like everything else in Copenhagen. So be prepared for that. Highly recommend the old roller coaster that was built in 1914. It's the 3rd oldest operating roller coaster in the world. Overall a really great day at the park. If you can, come back at night to see it with lights.

🎡🎢🎠It's a very nice theme park with lots of interesting rides. I was so excited and having so much fun that I didn't take many pictures.😆 But the best for me is The tallest ride in the amusement park I don't know what it's called, but it has seats like swing and it goes up and spins. Above, there is a very beautiful view overlooking the whole of Copenhagen.🇩🇰

Rides close at least an hour earlier. Service almost 2 hours earlier. But entry 3 hours before closing will be sold at full price. Early closing times are not indicated at the checkout.

Such an amazing place. We loved it and we had a lot of fun there. The gardens are very well taken care of and the games are suitable for all ages. They present some shows and plays as well. Inside, you will have everything you may need, restaurants, toilets…etc. and of course, they have Lego shop :). It’s a bit expensive, but it’s not for Denmark and for all what they offer. Highly recommended, especially with kids. You can go out and go back again, but you need kind of permission.

I've been to over 70 theme parks accross the globe, and not many of them get near to where Tivoli is. It's nothing short of beautiful, and the rides are just a small part of the overall package. You can spend an hour or two just walking around, taking in the sights, sounds, artworkslet down, but the other rides were great. There was a great mix of old and new, and if you are a thrill-seeker, don't miss Vertigo, its absolutely insane. The place really comes alive at night, so make sure you give yourself enough time to enjoy it all. Yes it isn't the cheapest place I've ever visited, but a place of such high standards, that its worth every penny.

As it is one of the oldest theme park, it is worth to visit. For anyone who love taking photos, I recommended to go before evening time. Then u can enjoy both day and night vibe. Not so big one.

Tivoli gardens were one of the most beautiful and exciting place I have ever visited. This place is more than a theme park and I was astonished by the way it was presented. I visited during the Christmas season. The place was beyond my expectations and took me by surprise by the lighting illumination. The best time to visit was during the evening after sunset to enjoy the light effect. I have added a couple of pics which I took during my visit to this place. This place is well located in the centre of Copenhagen, Denmark. A must visit place if you are planning to visit Copenhagen. A great and Fun filled place to visit with family and friends.

This is definitely a must-see if you're in town! It's like a carnival, amusement park and garden rolled into one. There are plenty of shops, food stands, snack stands and restaurants as well. The park is quite large with concerts and music playing. Some beautiful nature but also some fun for the kids!

So worth a visit not just a theme ride park but beautiful manicured gardens to walk through. Lots of restaurants a lake and staged mini concerts at night. Lovely architectural touches and lit up with millions of lights and lanterns in the evenings. Highly recommend

Magical place, especially during Christmas time and if it snows. The rides are safe and lines were not too long compared to some other theme parks. We didn't try any food here because no-one was hungry but I heard there are some good Danish hot-dogs and fries around the park.

I felt like I was in a Disney movie here. there was something to be seen everywhere. while a light show is running next to you, people are riding a roller coaster above your head and everyone around you is in a good mood and happy about their experience. I have seldom seen something as beautiful as here. there is something for everyone. I particularly liked the Christmas market in the middle of the area. There were many stalls with food and drink, as well as souvenirs and clothes. I can highly recommend the pork tenderloin in the brioche bun. I would definitely visit this park every time I am in Copenhagen. everyone who does not go here on occasion has really missed something!

This place is fantastic!❤️🎢 Perfect to spend the day with family, friends or alone. You could buy tickets in advance or in the office near the entrance. There are different fares depending on the access you want: entrance with or without access to attractions. If you come in the flower festival 🌸🌺, there are nice decorations and people could get a flower crown. Kids could get a nice paint in the face! Comen and enjoy the Japanese garden and the small riverside as well

Such an amazing park. Beautiful views, kind staff, great food options and fun rides. Filled with so much history!!! We went on my birthday traveling from Orlando, fl. It was the last day of their summer season before they closed for two weeks and the park was busy but still very manageable, the longest we waited for anything was 20 minutes. We had a wonderful time. The haunted villa was easily the most detailed, thrilling experience I’ve ever done. Highly recommend if you like scary things. My only qualm is that Closing times listed are not accurate and simply a suggestion. Both times we went the staff seemed to pack up when they want and things closed 30-45 minutes prior then listed, leaving us just wandering to find anything open. When rides were listed to close at 21:45, we spent 20:30 on looking for any open rides with no luck. The only things open were the games and some snack stands. The night ended with a 9 minute firework show which was very nice and nicely timed with the music

This place was fun and it’s really romantic at night if you are with a loved one. They had both fun rides for a fun park in the middle of the city. They also had good food and many games to play through out the park. They had a concert at night and the singers were amazing. I definitely recommend coming here and enjoying the atmosphere this park has to offer. The tickets vary but it’s inexpensive for the most part of you get a bundled park pass.

We was lucky to have a beautiful day and some special concert that day 😇 park is beautiful, we bought just the entrance and after early dinner and walking around we choose to buys ride pass for all attractions, and it was fun! It definitely not just for kids, we had a fun even with the small games all around for plastic coins, and then you can choose your own price as you like. It's not as like I have to go there again next time when I'm in Copenhagen, but it is definitely worth it if you want to enjoy a day full of fun and lots of food around

Gorgeous on a glittery snowy night. We strolled through the park taking in the beautiful Christmas decorations. Suddenly, we were blessed with a light steady snowfall. Spotlights leapt to life casting bright colorful beams, dancing in synchronization forming the shape of a heart on the low clouds above. The snow passing through the beams sparkled like crystal glitter. I felt as though I were magically transported into a live snow globe.

Incredible place that everyone should visit. It is a beautiful park with a lot of flowers and different attractions. This is a place for everyone, not only for the children. Best time to visit it is some time before sunset, so you can see it in daylight, but also later in the dark with all the lights on. The illuminations are also great.

(Translated by Google) Visited Tivoli for the first time during Halloween 2016. It is not far to Copenhagen from Stockholm, so I definitely have to return. Their brewery inside Tivoli is also wonderful. Very well decorated (during Halloween), but I can imagine that a hot summer day inside Tivoli would be great! Definitely want to visit again. This is in my opinion the first place to put on your list. Particularly, my memories in this pace are just indescribable. Wintertime is more enjoyable, believe it or not. The restaurants and places to sit down and have a coffee are just amazing. So, if you have the opportunity to visit, do it once, then twice, then in the third time you will still find something new you did not know. Go ahead my friend!

What a nice park to visit in the evening! We don't like these theme park attractions, but just walking around and enjoying the beautiful lights and decorations was fun! We visited one theatre show and the beautiful light show at the like. This was an amazing way to end the day! I would definitely recommend everyone to see the lake show, one of the best water/lights shows I've seen.

Amazing place It is very beautiful with lush greenery and flowers everywhere. It feels like a magical secret garden in the middle of the city. We unfortunately didn't have time to try all the rides (we just tried few kids friendly ones) but we enjoyed strolling around the beautiful park. If you think 13 euro per 1 minute ride including 2 hour waiting and part of the attractions not working is great then go otherwise enjoy the rest of beautiful Copenhagen. Alltough I have to say the park looks nice. What stung me most is that they don't inform you about the lines and the not working attractions. If properly informed we would not have gone for the attraction pass.

Had an amazing evening here! We bought the compete package (entry and unlimited rides and photos) and definitely made our money's worth in rides. Lots of options, from super kid friendly to super scary (the Demon). So many food options, but gasoline grill gets special mention for their huge fries portion. If you are there on Saturday stay for the light show and the fireworks. If you have time while in Copenhagen this will be a fun night out.

A unique place. Rides, an aquarium, gardens, restaurants and bars Very easy going and family friendly atmosphere. Queues were short and the ride pass works so well. This place is magic. The level of effort put into making this place this well dressed for Halloween is EXTRA. Now, I only purchased the access ticket, so I was able to walk about, but I had no intention of going on the rides! But I did stop and have some snacks. This place is worth a visit, if only just to see the spectacle! Otherwise, it's clearly a fantastic family day out with amazing attractions, food, gift stores, etc.

Apart from the price I really enjoyed the visit, I visited a while ago during Covid and the place was well adapted. When you visit definitely get the pass with all rides included, paying for rides separately is expensive for how short those are

  • 4/5 Paige P. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful - while I recommend, I would say to note that rides aren’t included in admission but are an additional fee. It’s a beautiful park, and easy to spend a day there. The area it’s in is also very lovely and walkable!

  • 5/5 Abeer K. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful parks/gardens, for everybody. Still, some people (like me) would be overwhelmed within two hours max, while others can easily spend there a whole day. Many restaurants (a bit overpriced). Lakes, ducks, green spots, music, sweet shops. You must know that the ticket doesn’t include the rides/games.

Beautiful amusement park in the heart of the city. I went during the Halloween period, it was nicely decorated for the occasion and open till 23:00 (the park is gorgeous at night with all the lights. A space designed for all ages, where you can enjoy a multitude of coast rollers, but also generous nature spaces full of flowers and water-loving birds. We really liked the central lake, where there is also a vending machine from which, for 5 dk, you can buy special grains to feed the fish that populate the lake. The real show begins when all the local wings (ducks, seagulls, albatrosses and other species) crowd on the lake, trying to steal the grains directly from the open mouths of the fish...

Nice afternoon and evening. Some lively gardens as well as the rides. Q's for the rides were very short. Lots of lovely places inside to eat so don't just go to the food court although that was also very nice

Its nice looking and cosy. Its small compared to Bakken, Liseberg etc. It is at least as expensive as the big ones. Restaurants etc are good but slow and expensive. Service over all is slow and lazy. You don’t get very many rides for the money due to long queues, broken rides and sloppy service.

An absolutely magical place. We arrived in the afternoon intending to visit properly the following day but as it’s open until midnight we spent 8 hours in there. The rides are great with no real queues and the home place is beautiful, particularly at night when everything is illuminated. Although the park itself isn’t that large, there is a lot packed in there with activities for everyone. We had an ‘extra’ ticket which turned out to include a meal in the food court which was also excellent. As and additional bonus there was a rock concert in the evening by DAD who were brilliant.

Lovely little walk through the gardens. We went at night and it was all lit up. Lots of restaurants and a food hall available. Most rides catered to very small children. There were a few there for the big kids, but we didn't try any. Just nice to walk around and people watch. 😌

A must when visiting Copenhagen. we spent an entire day here. we came on a Monday and there were very little to no wait times to get onto the rides. lots of eateries and bars, toilets dotted everywhere, places to sit and eat your lunch. we bought our lunch in and it wasn't a problem. recommend getting the entrance and unlimited pass, it was so much easier.

  • 5/5 Abi E. 9 months ago on Google
One of the best theme parks I have been to. Came here on a Sunday whilst on a city break in Copenhagen. We only intended on coming for 3 hours but ended up staying all day. The theme park was clean and easy to navigate. As a wheelchair user I felt very included with 90% of attractions being wheelchair accessible and the park overall was very accommodating. Was also great that all the cup were reusable and you can get money back where you return them. You also get a free carer ticket if you have a disability and a card to show at rides so you can go to the exit and get on. Lunch at Tivoli food hall was great with lots of choice and everything being cooked fresh. Only complaint I have is on the one big roller coaster, was that there was a lift up to the boarding point but you had to be able to walk up stairs to get on the ride. Doesn’t make much sense and was very misleading. Would defiantly come back.

  • 5/5 Stephen H. 9 months ago on Google
In the centre of Copenhagen is this beautiful retreat that caters for all - pop up restaurants; high end eateries; the oldest rollercoaster in the world!; bars; shopping and a large entertainment spot. If you didn’t know it was here you would simply walk passed it. A place to relax and be entertained away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Entry is charged.

  • 5/5 Gareth C. 9 months ago on Google
Absolutely fantastic day out for family and adults. We managed to get onto every ride with our longest wait being 20 minutes. Staff were very helpful and you can pop in and out of tivoli gardens. The water show was nice. It would have been a little better if it was a darker night to feel full effect. But make this a must go to attraction.

  • 5/5 Mariekythe M. 9 months ago on Google
Great place to spend a day. The ticket is worth buying considering there's so much to do. Great for relaxing and eating plenty. The music played in the concerts on June 16 were incredible! 😊

  • 5/5 Lasse L. 8 months ago on Google
Fridays suck as they have concerts and it's going to be packed....aim for a cloudy weekday...some days you will wait ages in lines, we where lucky and had 10 min wait for rides....lots of people come here to see the flowers and lights for which there is no line. Sunny weekends are going to be packed. Danish weather is temperamental, bring plastic ponchos and hope for the best, wind does not get bad here

  • 5/5 Denis P. 8 months ago on Google
Worth the price, it's expensive but really is a good place both for children and adults. The rides are really enjoyable and the different cafes and restaurants give you access to anything you want at any time. Real music is often playing, there are events and the personnel is nice and helpful. Nothing bad to say about the place.

  • 5/5 Anita S. 6 months ago on Google
Great location just outside the main station. Free entry with the city pass so definitely worth a visit. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Attractions are well maintained and it's a nice area to walk through even when not going in the rides as there are lots of things to see. There are a few different options for snacks (hot dogs, ice-cream etc). Toilets are free and well maintained.

  • 5/5 Yacoub Y. 6 months ago on Google
A true delight. This was included in the Copenhagen pass, and I was a little cautious at the start. But the experience was truly fun even if you don't go on the rides. There was a pantomime of some sort, a food hall, chocolate stores, mini ice-cream parlours. Saw a peacock walking through the park unfazed, a concert, a massive and beautiful fountain, as well as cool cultural replicas (e.g. Chinatown, etc...)

  • 5/5 Zied A. 6 months ago on Google
My visit to Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen during Halloween was absolutely magical. The atmosphere was incredibly festive, with themed decorations, illuminated pumpkins, and an enchanting ambiance. The Halloween-specific attractions were breathtaking. The haunted houses were delightfully spooky, and the nighttime shows were both awe-inspiring and spine-tingling. My children were thrilled and enjoyed every moment.

  • 5/5 Libinski 0. 6 months ago on Google
If you are a tourist and you love history and art, this is the place for you to visit. The fun rides may be a little out of date, but keep in mind they were from 100 years ago. Everything was so beautiful and artistically arranged. There were plenty of restaurants and coffee shops and chocolates. The Garden was not only for the kids but also the adults of all ages. We were glad that we saved the place last during our stay at Copenhagen.

  • 5/5 SebCeleste M. 7 months ago on Google
Absolutely stunning park with excellent organization and lots of things to do for toddlers and for parents. Perhaps would be good to reserve the mini-pass for just kids or kids with a parent, because there were some adults using this pass and blocking the turns of little kids. The playground area is also very cool. All the staff seem very friendly. It’s a must see in Copenhagen !

  • 4/5 Kamran S. 6 months ago on Google
Enjoyed the experience. Great theme park with a lot of history in the centre of the city. We decided not to buy the package with ride tickets in advance as we weren't sure if kids would avail the rides. We ended up buying some specific rides on the day and it became really expensive! Good day out with the family though and despite being a weekday it was crowded with lots of tourists

  • 5/5 Madhur B. 5 months ago on Google

It was very beautiful, we catch the Halloween theme and it was magica. They put so much thought into this and the resolute was great. I recommend coming later the day after the sun goes down, and buying tickets in advance, online, because usually it is very crowded.

I cannot describe with words these gardens combined with the amusing park!! It is one of the best places I have ever visited!! There are restaurants or street food, the aquarium is fine! if you don't enjoy the extreme games you should just take the simple ticket and pay extra for the aquarium or the few games you'll enter

  • 4/5 Leah W. 4 months ago on Google
The park is super beautiful, the haunted houses were super fun to go to and just the whole vibe of the place was amazing. The Halloween decorations were also super fun. The only downside is the price of entrance and for the rides, which was quite high in my opinion. Even though the prices were high I can't wait to go again for the Christmas theme.

  • 4/5 Magdalena D. 4 months ago on Google
We visited during Halloween season. It was nice, well decorated. We had only entrance tickets so there is not much to do if you don’t go on the rides. The tickets are a bit pricey. But it is located in the center of the city so it is nice to visit if you like things like that. :)

  • 4/5 C L. 4 months ago on Google
Tivoli gardens were decorated for Halloween and fall when I visited in early November. I wish I had gone for Halloween because most of the city was not decorated nor did they seem to celebrate. Their wonderful photo opportunities if you’re not somebody who likes to ride ride I recommend purchasing your tickets in advance, however, to avoid any lines. it can get quite busy with people, especially children who are planning to play games and ride rides. I didn’t ride any of the roller coasters, but there seem to be a bit of a long wait. There are plenty of shops and places to eat. Just like most of Copenhagen, the prices are a bit on the more expensive side. On a Saturday evening, it was virtually impossible to find a table to sit at to enjoy a meal from the on-site food hall, which you can access from outside of the park or inside of the park. They stamp your hand so that you can have return entry. I would say it is a must visit.

  • 4/5 Daniele U. 4 months ago on Google
Very nice place. Finely decorated for Halloween. I expect they'll do a great job for Christmas as well. I think this place is a bit overrated, though. Don't get me wrong, it's very nice and there are few fun rides. But I would go here only if I stayed for a few days in Copenhagen. Don't sacrifice other beautiful spots in the city to go here instead. But as a last day thing to do and especially if you're there with friends, it's a fun place where to spend a few hours

  • 5/5 Samantha S. 3 months ago on Google New
I went to Tivoli Gardens on a weekday by myself and had a wonderful experience! I bought the entrance ticket and the option that allowed me to ride everything as many times as I wanted. I had so much fun going on all the rides and went on some multiple times. Overall, it’s a really nice place with a cool history. Definitely worth going to if you’re visiting Copenhagen.

  • 5/5 Joseph K. 4 months ago on Google
Absolutely incredible. This was worth the whole trip to us. We went on the first day of the Christmas season. It was not that crowded. All of the decorations were amazing! I can easily see why this inspired Disney and so many other parks around the worth. Our kids loved the rides and want to go back.

  • 5/5 Aaron O. 3 months ago on Google New
Such great value, about £40 for entry and unlimited rides. We went over the Christmas period and it was a beautifully decorated. We went on a Friday at about 1400 and stayed for 3+ hours walking around, going on rides and having some food a drinks. At the time we went we didn't queue to get in and it was not to busy inside, when we left the queue looked like hell. We also prebought our tickets.

  • 5/5 Ryan N. 3 months ago on Google New
It was decorated for the Jul/Christmas season and they decorate for all the major holidays. It was definitely a unique experience when compared to most US theme parks. There were many small shops, rides, food, and games. The price of entry is very reasonable and you can pay more or less depending on the activities in which you are interested. I would highly recommend going to at least check it out.

  • 5/5 Naman M. 2 months ago on Google New

Not much of a ride person, but this is worth a visit, especially at Christmas time. Haven't been any other time of year so can't comment but it really does feel magical, I love the style of the buildings and rides, i love how walking around feels so much bigger than it is. Been twice around Christmas time and would visit again

This place is absolutely hands down one of the coolest amusement parks ever. Its not only one of the oldest but also one of the prettiest I've ever seen. The rides are not very intense but as a date night idea its a great place. Just enough rush for your girlfriend to hold your hand like mine did but also not as crazy that you end up puking. They also have one of the oldest roller coasters in existence as well which was also interesting. I had a blast with the halloween decoration and made the experience even better. Only thing I wish for is to relieve this experience in my head with my girl again and again.
