This place is great! Staff really bring the atmosphere and dining experience to a personal level. I went with my mother for her birthday and my little brother. We ordered a few small plates and a few large plates. Sicilian meatballs as well as beet fries were executed flawlessly. Creative well composed menu, relaxed environment. Treehouse is a embodiment of the neighborhood I highly reccomend.

Cute place with bar, dining and patio service. No TVs. Drink menu was creative. Service pretty slow but only two servers and place was packed. Food had good flavor although gnocchi was too salty and brussels sprout salad was more just roasted brussels sprouts vs what i was expecting. Cheesecake was just ok but crust was good. I would come back and try other items on menu. Nice casual ambience.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. You'd be hard pressed to find vegan food better than this anywhere in the country. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Absolutely delicious. Fine dining taste without the stuffy atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and try the spiced sangria. I would be happy eating here every week till I tried the whole menu! I hot the mushroom ravioli and my partner got the pasta florentine, and we got fried beets. All of it was so good.

I love this place. I don't live in St. Louis but this has been my third time here. Every time I get a chance to stop here I do. I'm sure all their food is delicious but I come here for one specific dish and that is the mushroom ravioli. I'm not usually a mushroom person but this pasta is seriously amazing. They also have great apps and dessert. Their other entrees sound great but I've always gotten the pasta. Service is friendly and fast.

It was my first time enjoying Tree House. We arrived right at 10 for Saturday brunch. Our server was really knowledgeable, walked us through the vegan-by-default menu, and even asked about food allergies. The patio seating was comfortable, which is saying a lot from this plus-size patron. I had the Tree House Super Salad with goat cheese added, which was delicious and a generous portion. My date enjoyed their Desayuno Latino, particularly the masa cake. The price was reasonable and the friendly service continued through the meal. I also appreciated the gender-neutral restroom. I will definitely be returning.

Visiting and told our host that I am plant based. We went here for dinner. I had the mushroom ravioli with brussel sprouts. It was delicious. So many layers of flavor. My dinner mates enjoyed their meals as well. The service was amazing. And the atmosphere is even better. Great for dinner with friends or date night.

We enjoyed excellent food and service tonight. The mushroom and polenta dish was recommended by our waiter and was particularly outstanding! Everyone in our group loved their food and we felt the prices were more than reasonable for the high quality. We will definitely return!

Tree House Restaurant on South Grand in St. Louis was established in 2013 and offers a fantastic option for vegans and vegetarians. Itโ€™s challenging to be strict vegan without getting a little bored. This spot can assist! Went for brunch. While Iโ€™m no longer vegan, I appreciate the creativity and ingredient excellence at this spot. I recently enjoyed their Desayuno Latino, featuring a black bean and vegetable stuffed masa cake with flavorful house-made sauces and perfectly cooked eggs, accompanied by breakfast potatoes. The trendy atmosphere, full bar, and friendly, quick service make it a must-visit spot. Overall, a bright and cheerful gem offering a great vegan option in our community.

Im in love. Had the Tree House Super Salad and they taste like magic in your mouth. Really on point and the pancakes are so well made. Definitely stop by when you look for rich and healthy food.

I LOVE this place! The service is always excellent and the vibe is just right. Iโ€™m vegan and my husband isnโ€™t, but weโ€™ve had both brunch and dinner here and weโ€™ve been able to find delicious things on the menu for both of us.

So everything on the menu is vegan, so be warned now! To my surprise the cheese burger was very good. I added the avocado which to me put it over the top! Iโ€™m sure weโ€™ll be returning soon to check out the rest of the menu! You can dine inside or out and reservations are accepted. Enjoy and please like if this review helps you decide.

All the food here looked incredible and wish I could have tried it all. I tried the maitake mushrooms, crab rangoon, wild mushroom stuffed ravioli, carrot cake, bread pudding, and lemon meringue parfait. Wow oh wow! I have no words for how amazing the food, staff, and atmosphere was! Can't recommend this place enough! I love that everything was vegan by default even though they offer vegetarian options!

Everything about this place was top notch! The service was great and the food was amazing. We are vegan and gluten free and they have a lot of options and it was all delicious. A huge positive, we didnโ€™t leave feeling heavy or like we just ate a bunch of processed food. You could tell the ingredients were high quality and made scratch. My husband who is not vegan, loved it all. His favorite dishes were the brussel sprout salad and the Jalepeno cornbread bites. Mine was also the brussel sprout salad, the beet fries and the โ€œsausageโ€ cheese (I forget the name) dip w/house chips. We will definitely be back for another date night.

Well that was a wonderful surprise. So... I'm a pretty dedicated meat eater. Like, the raised on a cattle farm fishing and hunting kind. My stepdaughter, however, is a vegetarian and it was her birthday, so here we were. I like veggies, don't get me wrong.... But usually I want some steak with my potatoes. I'd give this place 6 stars if it'd let me. 10. 51 even! 52 might be pushing it, nothing was covered in gold leaf. We ate family/tasting style, so we could all try it all, and man... Not one bad dish. Everything was SO flavorful, and satisfying, didn't miss meat a bit. The one thing with psuedomeat (a sausage) was outSTANDing. So so so well seasoned. We'll be back. Often!

Best vegan and vegetarian food in the city! Meatless does not have to be tasteless. I dream about the roasted Brussel sprouts, the crab cakes and the smoked gouda sourdough melt. Everything we've tried here is incredible. We were also surprised by their tasty cocktail menu! Servers are knowledgeable and mindful of allergies and dietary restrictions. Stellar service every time!

Great vegan food with an elegant menu selection, definitely a good choice for a date night. Very friendly and willing to work with any dietary needs like gluten-free, no oil, etc.. It does get pretty busy, so depending on the time you go, it might be better to have a reservation. I wish they were open during the week for lunch. I would go back more often if they were.

Everything about this experience was excellent. Food, Service, Drinks, and Atmosphere. After a long day of driving (road trip), this was like an oasis in the dessert. The food was Awesome! My partner had appetizers, entrees, drinks, AND dessert (which we rarely do), and everything was totally delicious! We will be sure to visit whenever we're in St. Louis.

It's been a few years since I dined in at Treehouse (have gotten take out) and I cannot recommend it enough for any vegetarian forward folks! I love their rotation of seasonal offerings and the quality is unbeatable. The service and atmosphere are additive and make for a completely wonderful experience. Looking forward to coming here more often!

Awesome food and service. We were lucky to get in without a reservation after passing on another place. Highly recommend the Brussels sprouts. Had the Beyond cheeseburger with tempeh bacon and will definitely go back for the pasta or curry.

First time here with my daughter and I can't say enough about how much we loved everything we ordered. My favorite was the fried beets with dipping sauce- OMGOSH sooo amazing. Then I had the brussel sprouts salad with chili lime vinaigrette. Amazing ....going back to try dinner menu soon.

This place is all vegetarian/vegan options and was incredible. Honestly I wasnโ€™t too sure what I would expect when it comes to breakfast foods, but wow did they blow my expectations out of the water. If you are in the Grand Blvd. area, be sure to check out Treehouse!

This was my first time having brunch here and it was absolutely phenomenal. Everyone was very friendly and the food was prepared perfectly. We had the big breakfast plate, biscuits and gravy, and Brussels sprouts salad. They were offering giant cinnamon rolls as well. Everything was perfect. Best brunch ever.

The food was delicious, especially the pasta. The ravioli were OK. The portions are on the small side. However, the service was horrible. Very slow and the waitress was inattentive. She did not know much about the menu. In addition, we never got our drinks. I would go again but I hope they improve the service ASAP.

Went for dinner and had a wonderful gluten free polenta with Japanese mushrooms which was on the specials of the day. It's nice when a restaurant has an espresso machine, but one thing that could be better is offering decaf espresso.

A vegetarian/vegan dream restaurant. We were in a hurry and the waitress and host were extremely nice and accommodating. The best part? The food came out not only fast but it was amazing. Our whole family enjoyed it and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing! We are visiting from Cincinnati and it is so nice to have a vegan spot to grab a good meal. The food was surpassed only by Shuronโ€™s phenomenal customer service. She had wonderful suggestions and was very attentive to our table. If we are ever back this way, Tree House will be a must!

Went there for daughter's birthday. She is vegan and we are not. But I was really surprised with the taste of the food. Really nice selection. The beets appetizer was my favorite. The service was really nice, what a pleasant experience for us, non-vegans. Will go back? Heck yeah! :)

I'm glad the weather was nice, because we just walked in, didn't think about calling ahead, and the only available tables were outside. But it was all beautiful. Service was so nice and attentive, and all the food was delicious and fresh. A nice variety, too. (No printed menus, so go ahead and get familiar with the online menu). I had the mushroom ravioli and some carrot cake.

I know that they have good food, I want to try other options. But this vegan hamburger was a little dry. Other then that, everything was great.

Vegan brunch and dinner in St. Louis! Food **** What a fun brunch! They have cool drinks and yummy interesting brunch options both vegan and vegetarian so great if your whole party isnโ€™t vegan. We got the big tree house breakfast and the chorizo tofu scramble. We got both with tofu and vegan cheddar. Both were delicious! Portions were kind of small but we did feel full after so canโ€™t complain much. We also got a the dirty chai which had rum in it and was very interesting. They also have mimosas and unlimited drip coffee! Atmosphere **** Such a cute vibe, clean, fun and cozy! Service **** We didnโ€™t have a reservation and the hostess was so kind and made it work for us. Everyone was super friendly. They have so many staff constantly rotating so you get your food super quick, they clear off tables fast, and refill coffee and water without missing a beat. Price $$ Reasonable pricing for what you get! Under $15 a

This was hands down the most flavorful and diverse vegan/ gluten free food. Having dietary restrictions isnโ€™t always easy, but Tree House STL made it simple and tasty. The service was the best Iโ€™ve ever experienced as a restaurant in over 15 years of living in STL.

Great stop thorough dinner on our way home to Indianapolis from the Ozarks. Great vegetarian and vegan food. Also has gluten free options for my girlfriend! Bartender was nice! Great food!

  • 4/5 R C. 2 years ago on Google
I've visited Tree House a number of times and for vegan/vegetarian food you can't really do much better in STL. I'm a meat-loving omnivore but don't miss the meat in the dishes at Tree House. Inexplicably, my hollandaise arrived refrigerator cold and was therefore a complete outrage..hence the 4 stars. Blood Mary was delicious with an interesting ingredient I couldn't place and neither could my buddy lol, but it was great.
