Simply the most delightful little bakery & cafe! The Happy Bakery has become our favorite Saturday brunch spot. The food is delicious and the owner/staff are always kind and accommodating. They have phenomenal breakfast food and the deli style lunch items always leave us satisfied. And don't get me started on the baked goods! The cakes, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, oh my!!! 🤤 Definitely keep them in mind for your special occasions or get a cake just because!

This was a while ago but for my son’s 1 year milestone shoot they did a honey pot cake from Winnie the Pooh and for his birthday we did an Elmo smash cake. Both cakes were absolutely amazing but the Winnie the Pooh one was hands down one of the best cakes I’ve ever seen. I’m planning on ordering from them again for his 2nd birthday. Heck, this will be our go to place for all of his birthdays.

I've followed this restaurant on social media for a long time and always wanted to try it, but for whatever had never gone in until today. After months of seeing their posts online, I had very high expectations of the food and staff. Needless to say, I was not let down at all. The staff were all incredibly friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. The food was absolutely fantastic, I wish I had gotten some baked goods as well. One of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. Will definitely be going back in the near future!

Came in to get some cake to make vegan cakepops. They were super helpful in helping me to find the items I need to make sure they are vegan...since I'm not! Great cakes and cupcakes, they offer gluten free as well. Delish! UPDATE: the pops turned out amazingly! Thanks again for all your help!

fantastic & delicious! A true local gem: vegan, welcoming and cozy spot for a sit down meal or tasty treat. So many fun savory options on the menu in addition to the wide selection of baked goodies! The chickie nuggies a delicious dipping sauces (spicy buffalo, creamy garlic, zesty barbecue!) are a must!

Hubby and I made the drive for Saturday brunch. The Happy Bakery is located in a quaint corner house with street parking. There are several rooms inside the house with cozy tables throughout. We ordered a Breakfast Grilled Cheese, a Diner Brunch, a latte, and cold brew. Disappointed in myself for not snagging a picture of the BGC ☹️. The food was yummyyy and made the long drive worth it. On our way out, we picked up some bakery items (cupcakes, cookies) and have been enjoying those all weekend.

I came in for brunch yesterday, and the team very kindly let me order last week's special, the donut breakfast sandwich. HOLY MOLY! This was the best breakfast sandwich I've EVER HAD!!! I think I can die and go to heaven now, lol! They put like a vegan ham on it along with the Just Egg & vegan cheese, which was absolutely incredible. I haven't had anything like that in over a decade! It would fool anyone, I could hardly believe my taste-buds! The vegan meats that you make are really something special. I still drool thinking about that cold chicken bacon club sandwich you had last year. That chicken and this ham should be on your menu full time (or at least rotated in super regularly). Both of those sandwiches were so good I could have cried, I literally have not had anything anywhere else that can compare. The donuts were absolute perfection as well. Thank you so much for your beautiful vegan food, it makes my soul so happy 🥰

The only reason I give this place three stars is because I am not vegan. I am a man who enjoys his milk and eggs in his baked goods. That being said, very quaint restaurant, very at home feeling. If this is the lifestyle you choose, please come and give this place a visit. It smelled absolutely amazing in there, and they were very friendly warm and welcoming. While I stood their trying to decide was very informative about all the goods being sold.

If I didn’t live 30 minutes away I’d be coming here weekly. The atmosphere is so warm and cozy vibe. I absolutely love the brightness and colorful decor. Their pastries are to die for. The staff is super nice. I really appreciate the art they put into everything. Simple things like ice cubes shaped like a teddy bear in my iced latte make my day. I cannot wait to go back.

One of the cutest bakeries I've been to. They baked my daughters 4th birthday cake and decorated it. All parts exceeded expectations and they even rolled with my crazy no-theme -theme. Her cake included the cutest superhero's, Dinos and mermaids. They were easy to work with and super professional.

I wish I had pictures to share, but I just can't wait to eat everything! Living in Ofallon, MO, we're always looking for a reason to come here. Breakfast is always amazing but it's always a struggle what to get because lunch is equally amazing!! Especially when there's a special that day to choose from. Such a cute house made into a bakery/Cafe. And the girls here are always so sweet. We just love this place!!!

We love the Happy Bakery! One of the best vegan brunches around. And every baked good I've had from here has been so tasty! Happy that they're slinging incredible vegan food on the east side - be sure check them out if you're in the area.

This little bakery provides an amazing array of scrumptious foods. And it's all vegan! I brought home cookies for my family and not one realized they were vegan (no one in my family is vegan). The chocolate chip cookies are easily the best I've ever had! And don't let the term bakery fool you, They have breakfast and lunch meals, such as chicken nuggets, hamburgers and more! The atmosphere is cozy and eclectic. A coffee shop feel mixed with the comfort of Grandma's kitchen. Trust me, don't skip this place just because it's vegan. You won't be able to tell the difference!

I've been going to this place for over a year, even before I went vegan. I have food allergies (dairy and shellfish) so finding sweets to eat is impossible unless they're vegan. I've liked almost everything I've had from here. My favorite is the cake pops but unfortunately they're not available every day. The savory rolls are phenomenal but only available on Saturdays. Every soup I've tried from them has also been very good. All of their drinks I've tried are similarly amazing. It's expensive though so I've been inspired to start cooking at home more. Be advised that this place is only open Wednesday-Saturday, so plan accordingly.

I am from out of state and had to visit twice! Let me just say that The Happy Bakery was one of the key highlights of my entire trip. I wish I could put the bakery in my pocket and take it back home with me. I am impressed that everything is Plant Based (especially being a fellow Vegan) where I don't have to double check ingredients. The meals are delicious as well as the sweets. The atmosphere is home like and the entire staff was friendly. I am so so sad I had to leave and go back home. If I moved to Illinois, I would definitely consider moving close by just because of the bakery. Spending my money here was well worth it and I'm glad I could support a local, small business.

Not only is this place adorable, they created the most beautiful and tasty cake for my wedding. The strawberry flavor was a hit! They really customize your experience which was wonderful.

Delicious vegan brunch. Best I've ever had. Service was great. Definitely worth the hour drive here!! Will be back for sure.

Recently placed an order for a special occasion--an assortment of gluten-free cookies for a friend starting a new job. The order was placed from Missouri to the Illinois bakery for delivery to Kentucky. The package arrived on-time and was well-received. Thanks for making this a special day a little more special.

Oh wow! Everything we had was fantastic. Falafel pita, mushroom melt, soup of the week 'carrot soup ' (changes weekly), Boba fizzy soda and apple cider. Five star all the way. The cupcakes are beautiful 😍

WOW!!! I am SO glad we worked with The Happy Bakery for our wedding! It was such a wonderful experience from the very beginning. Most other bakeries we looked into and tried samples from felt very impersonal (pick up your tasting box and let us know if you want to work with us), so the customer service and entire experience at The Happy Bakery really stood out in the best possible way. We went in to talk about our vision with Charlie, who then sketched up a design of a possible cake for us. She really helped us identify things we liked and wanted in our cake, and then beautifully translated those to an absolutely stunning cake design! Charlie was so sweet and fun and really just a delight to work with from the very start. We later went in for an in-person cake tasting. Every flavor we tried was phenomenal, so it was a difficult decision, but ultimately we went with Death By Chocolate and Coconut. YUM!!! All our guests LOVED the cake. We also did some gluten-free cupcakes in the same flavors so everyone could partake in dessert; these were also phenomenal! We could barely tell the difference between the gluten free and the regular, which is really saying a lot! Charlie was awesome in explaining to us about the differences between gluten free and regular, and it was so easy to accommodate all our guests' dietary restrictions since this is a plant-based bakery. Our cake was honestly the best cake I've ever had! I am already thinking ahead to holidays and birthdays and looking for excuses to order another cake from them because it was THAT good!!! And the final cake was absolutely stunning to look at. I wish I'd spent more time admiring it, to be honest! In summary, we love love love this bakery (and I'm more than a little sad it's not closer so I can get goodies from them all the time). THANK YOU Charlie and Happy Bakery team!!! I had a favorite vegan bakery before moving to O'Fallon, and I'm so excited and happy to have discovered this place! The cold brew was tasty and the Saturday brunch was reasonably portioned and delicious! Great little place to hang out - they also have board games. I think I may become a regular here.

This place is a foodie heaven on earth, whether you are vegan or not. I have been vegan for 9 years and have tried a ton of vegan restaurants. This adorable, eclectic bakery exceeded my expectations ten fold and is a true gem. The Reuben special was outstanding, fresh and rich at the same time and not oily at all. The tater tots were the best tots I’ve ever had. Our order was running a bit late when we came to pick it up which I didn’t mind. The wonderful lady who I assume is the manager or possibly owner was so gracious and gave us a couple coupons for a free desert the next time we came in. We are from out of town and I plan to eat here everyday until we leave! She even threw some AMAZING cookies into our takeout bag that I found later. The most delicious, melt in your mouth sugar cookies that were decorated gorgeously for St. Patrick’s Day. We bought some cupcakes as well for my husbands birthday tomorrow and I can’t wait to try them. This is one of those places where I bet everything on the menu is a winner!

We consider The Happy Bakery a true blessing. The food is always amazing. The staff is sweet, knowledgeable and they work their booties off. Having eaten plant-based since 2017, it was a really wonderful experience to eat at a fully vegan restaurant so close to home. Picking out yummy sweets is the best part because there is such a variety of deliciousness to choose from! Plant-based eater or not, give The Happy Bakery a try! <3

I’ve gotten birthday cakes and cupcakes there before and have always been happy with my experience! Today I went to pick up a Welcome Home cake for my husband who’s been working overseas for four months but I didn’t make it in time (that was on me- it was ready 2-3 days ago) so it had been sold. That was no big deal, again, that was my fault for waiting too long! I was only still buying the cake because I didn’t want their hard work to go to waste, but my husband is stuck where he’s at and can’t come home yet so that cake would have gone to waste anyway. So we got these cute little rainbow buns for my toddler and I and they gave us a cookie on the house! ❤️ it wasn’t until I got outside that I saw the little babies which gave me a good laugh. Lol they were so kind and accommodating. They have a forever customer in me!

Wow! The OG mushroom burger was melt your mouth amazing and the crème sammich was a delightful take on a childhood favorite. Very friendly staff, reasonable wait time, great quality and greater flavor. If you’re visiting the area it’s a must see, as a new local this is my new happy spot. UPDATE! 05-06-2022 We had such a good time here a week ago that we decided to come back and again no disappointments! The order is the California burger, the weekly special the veggie egg sandwich, the seasoned tots and the chocolate peanut butter cake.

Charlie from the Happy Bakery did such a fantastic job with my daughter's birthday cake! It was an owl-themed birthday party, and the cake was the highlight. I brought a few ideas of what I wanted to Charlie, and she took care of the rest. She made it even cuter than I had imagined! We picked the Oreo cake flavor and it was insanely delicious! 10/10 recommend ordering your cake from the Happy Bakery if you indeed want to end up happy!!!
