This is literally the best food I've ever eaten. Metal, horror movies, vegan, tacos, it's like this place was made for me. Food was fresh and came out quickly. The restaurant is very clean and has some rad seating options. Staff was quite friendly and a delight to speak with. I've eaten at a lot of taco places but this was hands down the best food and experience I've encountered. I'll be making more trips back to St Louis just to eat here again.

The food was great! Good portions and super tasty. It was actually spicy and flavorful and they were able to make my items without cilantro. The service was... confusing. We walked in and nobody addressed us, we pretty quickly figured out we sat ourselves and went to bar to order. Except someone was hanging out and we couldn't get to menus. Finally we looked up menu online and was able to order. It did take a while to get food but they appeared to have a lot of to go orders. Our food was delivered to our table. I had tacos so I wouldn't have thought I would need silverware and neither did the server. First bite in, the entire bottom of the taco blew and toppings went everywhere. It took awhile to get a fork, as I had to wait in the order line. Overall, I would go back and maybe do to go next time. The food was worth the additional frustrations.

If I could give this place a million stars out of 10 I would. This has been, and forever will be, my favorite restaurant in the entire world. The atmosphere is so drawing and exciting! The food is astonishingly good!! I have never been to a place where the photos of the food always look like it on your plate, this is the first place where I've had that happen. God bless you guys and all you do I hope this business can stay open forever!

I wish I lived in the area because I would eat here all the time. We got the Fright of Tacos and every single taco tasted delicious and packed with flavor but also each were very unique. Also cocktails are fantastic. Great atmosphere of horror movie and metal 👌

Visiting St Louis for Christmas and my fiance recommended this spot. I'm a huge horror movie and Halloween fan so the theme immediately appealed to me. The decor is awesome and I love it. They give you a menu to check out and then you order on your phone with Toast. It's not my favorite method but it works just fine. I ordered the Fright of Tacos and my fiance ordered one of the Crunchy Wraps. Let me just warn you now, the portions are huge. You get a lot for what you pay for. This spot is fully vegan but I wouldn't have even noticed if I just tasted the food. I would suggest this spot to everyone who likes good food and spooky aesthetic. (They had a Christmas Horror Story playing on the TV when we were there which was also great!) Can't wait to come back.

Spicy food done right! Awesome vegetarian protein options with seitan, tofu, veggie crumbles. A heat level for everyone. Truly delicious food I didn't feel guilty indulging in. I thought this place was a little pricey, but so worth it. Cozy but I love the ambiance. The drinks are delicious. My Partner said she could eat here at least a couple times a month. Safe to say we will be regulars!

This has got to be one of the best vegan taco / Tex Mex places in the US. There flavors are amazing. The size are excellent. And the diversity of offerings on the menu makes you want to comeback 10+ times to try new things while you struggle not to order the last awesome thing you got. I really can't recommend this place enough and hope you have a chance to try this place if you're in the area.

One of the absolutely best restaurants I’ve ever been to. My family and I went here when we visited STL and it was AMAZING. I am not a vegan, but I couldn’t even TELL it was vegan! It tasted and looked like the real deal! My boyfriend also coined the term “amazing atmosfood” to describe your place! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE open one in Springfield, MO! 🤤🤤🤤

My first experience eating at a vegan restaurant and it didn't disappoint! The best thing about the restaurant is the amazing horror/metal theme. It's a small restaurant, so try to come during off peak times. There were multiple people picking up to go orders while we were there, but I wouldn't want to miss out on the atmosphere. There was rock music playing on the speakers, Pet Semetary on the TV, and we sat at the Lost Boys table... the perfect trifecta of entertainment. Everywhere you looked was something new to look at. We ordered from the QR code at our table. The staff was great and helpful, and the food came hot and full of spices. We really enjoyed our meal but the surroundings really stole the show.

I don't think I can say enough about how amazing the food is here. Have no worries it is all vegan. Huge variety of bowls, tacos, burritos and crunchy wraps with many tasty protein options to choose from. They have bbq options too. Excellent location, wonderful interior decor, and speedy service. Don't miss if your vegan or even if your not.

Located on Grand Ave., Terror Tacos has fantastic vegetarian Mexican options. It has a gothic Halloween vibe which is a fun addition to the restaurants in this part of St. Louis. I would give it 5 stars; however, I have to give it 4 stars because if you are going to sit inside, the music is extremely loud, and it is hard to have a conversation with whoever you are dining with. I will say being able to sit and eat at the raised window table was a fun dining experience. Apart from the loud music, all of the food is delicious. Terror Tacos puts a vegetarian spin on traditional Mexican cuisine, which makes eating plant-based food more approachable for meat-loving folks. The meat is definitely not missed in the food that is being served at this delicious Tower Grove restaurant!

I love this place! Everytime we are in town we have to stop here for tacos! They are so delicious! My favorite are the basic witch tacos and a mocktail.. The food is seriously good.

Carnivore approved! Some of the best food I've ever had. I'm not a vegan, but I will go there anytime to enjoy their food and atmosphere! Their food looks exactly like they do in the pictures! Excellent service with the staff as well.

This place has very delicious vegan food!!! Service was awesome. Very friendly people, too. The atmosphere was interesting. 🤔 😆 BUT it was a fun experience.

This place is fantastic! It's pretty hard to find fully vegan/vegetarian places in the Midwest, so this restaurant is my haven. They've got such a cool, punk, dark vibe with lots of fun spooky decor, and the food is so incredible. My mom tried one of their bowls and couldn't even tell it was vegan she had to ask an employee to make sure. Staff was very friendly and our food came out pretty quickly. The perfect portion size and so many great items on the menu.

We visited St. Louis for the weekend and did some research for where to get vegan food (as we vegans have to do). This place popped up - I looked at photos and read some reviews. This seemed like the perfect place for us! When we arrived, we were greeted immediately by a server who told us that we can sit anywhere and we could scan the barcode for the menu or just go up and order. The employees were super nice. The decor of the place is absolutely amazing! Two tiny little issues that I had were 1) The seats weren't really too comfortable. 2) The food was good, but a tiny bit bland. But, the atmosphere and staff were absolutely amazing!

very interesting concept for a restaurant. the decor is suitable & love that it all ties together with the menu. a little on the pricer side, but made up with the healthier aspects they served

This place is AWESOME! I had the birra crunchy wrap and my husband had the nocturnal heartburn burrito. Both were absolutely delicious. The house-made birra seitan is to die for. In addition to the amazing food, the staff were really friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be stopping here again next time I'm in St Louis!!

5 out of 5! The food is so flavorful, the portions are pleasantly but not unreasonably large, and the atmosphere -- with its hard metal music, spooky, cobweb-strewn black chandeliers, and and horror movie paraphernalia -- creates a slightly spooky (but mostly just fun) and flavorful experience. And everything just happens to be plant-based. The green chili chalupa I ordered was fairly large, so that plus some chips and salsa, which I split with the table, was enough of a meal for me. My companions had bigger meals, and they each took half of theirs home l. We all agreed we'd come back again. P.S. I recommend telling your kids about the "creepy Halloween theme" decor before going. I thought my 10-year-old was going to need us to leave; they eventually acclimated, though, plus we were lucky enough to get one of the less-creepy window tables.

Entire place is vegan!! Mind blowing. They have burritos, tacos, quesadillas & more! First time ever having any rendition of a birria taco and I’m a complete fan. Mouthwatering flavors. Sooooooo good. The place gave off dark emo vibes with a little hint of haunted house. A lot of the names of the food are edgy and unique. Self seating and you pay at the counter. Server was patient with all of my questions so I could make the best decision. Everything sounded so good. They have gluten free options as well as it being vegan. Highly recommend stopping by here if you’re in the mood for some authentic food.

Wasn’t really friendly. My friend and I walked in and no one acknowledged or greeted us til we were there for few minutes. I asked if we picked our own tables or had to be seated and a lady told me, “your order just came out”, I told her “we just walked in.” She walks passed us and proceeds to help another customer. We took it upon ourselves to sit at the available table. Still a few minutes til someone acknowledges us, we’re told to order from the bar or on our phones. We decided to order on our phones, we just ordered drinks. The drinks were not great but strong (in liquor). We paid full price from our drinks then I noticed a couple people walking in after we got our drinks and they were ALL greeted, told about the happy hour and specials. At that point we left. I will never visit them again. I’d recommend they try to have better service.

So rare to find a good all vegan place and then to find one that is horror movie/metal themed? Amazing. The ambiance was so great. Jason X was playing on the TV above the bar and after that Fright Night came on. We got tacos, nachos, a crunchy wrap and a couple cocktail. Everything was so good. This will be a must go every time we visit STL from KC from now on.

I really wanted to try this place because the theme seemed fun, but while I don't mind vegan food, my husband is a true meat and potatoes guy. I choose to go to Terror Tacos on my birthday so that my husband couldn't argue my dinner choice. LOL. The theme was fantastic and gave my whole family something to talk about over dinner while we talked about all the different characters and art on display. The food was even better than I expected. Not only did my husband say he would go back, but my super picky children ate everything on their plate. Ended up having a fantastic birthday dinner with no complaints. I couldn't ask for anything more.

KILLER. VEGAN. METAL. TACOS. Seriously, Terror Tacos has a ridiculously-good menu featuring vegan dishes bursting with flavor and spice. If your body isn’t able to handle heat well, just ask for a recommendation from any of their employees. They’re all really rad and know their menu well. The atmosphere boasts insane colors and metal/horror decor. AND they now have brunch. Best-seasoned tofu I’ve ever had!
