I entered this morning and showed my sweet hair stylist Nicole (whom I love) a picture. My hair turned out nothing close to the color in the picture. I say nothing close because I didn’t expect perfect. After arriving home I took pictures of my hair and called the salon and asked if I could send the pics via email for review along with the pic I showed Nicole of the color I wanted. The nice person on the phone said of course and gave me the email address. I explained I wasn’t angry I wanted to know if Nicole could review the pics and let me know if my hair can be fixed. I sent the email. About an hour later I received a call from Tiffany telling me she reviewed the pics and talked to Nicole. Tiffany stated, Nicole told her, the toner was left on too long giving me the gray hair result - I asked for blonde highlights this morning. Tiffany stated I need to wash my hair with a clarifying shampoo like Rosemary Mint two or three times to wash the toner out and then I should be fine. I washed my hair several times tonight with no change. Question to Owner: Why am I being told to wash the toner out that I was charged for earlier today? Why was the toner left on my hair too long? I’m not in the hair salon business but it seems logical to me to ask me to return to fix (gently remove toner and reapply toner) not to give me instructions to fix something I paid a lot for earlier today. I never asked for any money back I just wanted my hair fixed. I’m so disappointed. In my opinion this salon is not living up to Aveda’s standards and I will not return. I’m sorry there isn’t a zero star.

I’ve been coming here for about 3yrs now. Calista has been my stylist now for the last few times I’ve been in and she is just amazing!! I wasn’t happy with my hair prior to her taking over and explained how I wanted the color and she nailed it!! She’s sweet and has a great personality!! Also, want to give a shout out to Brenda she is one of the sweetest people there very personable and genuine! Thank you guys for everything!!

Run don’t walk. Listen, as a Black American woman I’m often worried when none of the beauticians look like me, will they be able to style my texture of hair. Indre is exceptional, I arrived looking average and left looking and feeling like a superstar. I asked for highlights and a waving blow out. Not only did she deliver but she exceeded my expectations. This place is amazing all around from the moment you arrive. The receptionist who made my appointment Brenda, has great knowledge of each stylus expertise and paired me with Indre. I am forever thankful!!! Indre has made a forever clinic💋

Great atmosphere and the staff is always so friendly. Liz does a great job with making my hair look good. I always get so many compliments from people on the color whenever I’m out and about.

Historically I would have gone to a place a little more inclined to walk in grab first available and move on… grumbling My wife and daughter and encouraged me to try a different experience. I gave little thought to the experience a salon that I thought catered primarily to female clientele could provide an impatient male like myself. I’m happy to say my ignorance did not keep from finally enjoying the full experience. I should have started sooner. Quality of the people from Owners, Management, Guest Services and Stylists is A++ Brenda greets me with a wonder smile and offers me beverages and hot towels. Then off to my Stylist. My first was Liz and now Indre and both are fantastic. Brenda has taken care of getting me to the right person based on my schedule and I couldn’t be happier. 5 Star ⭐️ treatment by an incredible Team. I visited this salon last week and had my hair done with Nicole. I needed color and highlights as well as a trim. My hair turned out exactly like I told her I wanted it and everyone loved it. And even better was the fact that she was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and it was obvious that she loves what she does. I will definitely be returning as a regular.

Second time coming to Asonipse Salon and getting a haircut with Lisa. The salon is beautiful and clean with amazing service from checking in, to the relaxing shampoo area, and checkout. Lisa cut my hair exactly how I wanted and did an amazing job both times.

i really don’t like getting angry or irritated, and i really don’t want to be rude, but my stylist botched my hair. i asked for curtain bangs. i already have some framing, i just wanted it shorter, but what i got disappoints. everything is incredibly choppy and uneven, one side has more hair cut than the other, and there is a chunk of hair missing on one side. i don’t know how it happened or how it was possible, but i hate it. the dude who styled my hair did the same thing to someone i know not too long ago as well. the team here is so sweet, but haircuts here have just been hit or miss for me. i have no clue how to fix this.

My daughter’s experience was phenomenal. Her hair stylist, Katherine, knew exactly what my daughter wanted. She made Isabel feel at ease through the process. Isabel was super happy with her haircut and style. Will highly recommend Katherine!!

Love this salon. Catherine really listened to my wants and needs to cut my wild curly hair and she is very sweet! The salon was very clean and well kept and I didn't feel like just another number. Highly recommend!

Liz is a master stylist at the Winthrop location and she did a great job on my hair. The exact color and style I wanted. I didn’t leave with any dye on my skin or any pieces longer than others. She also helped me pick out a couple products that would work best for me. :)

I had a great experience with Indre😊 my hair is menepause awful. I went in expecting better than when I went in. She was easy to explain to what I wanted. But even better, she explain a few options on the grow out cut that made it look deliberate and unique. Without being the least bit hard to copy. Thank you again Indre for top notch Aveda style work and atmosphere. Happy client.

I have been going to Asonipse for years and have never been disappointed with the services that I have received. I love the little extras such as the the scalp massage., the hand towel at the reception desk and the hand massage (which I am waiting for to come back due to covid). The services here may be a little more costly compared to other salons but you are betting an experience like none other!!

My hairdresser Catherine was warm and friendly, competent and confident in her skill set, and did a fabulous job! I’ll be back, and I appreciate Aveda hiring someone of the caliber and quality that Catherine is

I booked with new talent Tianna. She did a great job with my root touch-up. The colour was perfect. She did a quick rinse and there was no itchy scalp afterward. I got $20 off. A nice bonus :)

I love Lisa. She is an amazing, experienced stylist. She is one that I can show a picture of a hair style to, and she can recreate it on me perfectly! I'm so happy with my look! Such a fantastic, professional stylist and salon. I also love all Avida hair products!
