My husband took me to chop chop for Valentine’s Day Dinner. Not going to lie, I was a little skeptical, because I had no idea what anything on the menu was. :-) However, after reading one of the reviews where somebody said the owner was happy to explain the menu and help you along, I was looking forward to trying it. What a fantastic experience! Paul is the co-owner, and is a very friendly and knowledgeable young man. He walked us through the menu. We had the Kim-Mari appetizer, Bi-Bim-Bap, and Duck-Bae-Gi-Bool-Go-Gi. All were amazing! A bottle of the Bohae black raspberry wine was the perfect accompaniment. This place will definitely be on our regular rotation any time we’re in the Daytona area.

I took my girlfriend here because she loves singing at home or when it’s just us but not many people like getting in front of a crowd. First and foremost- do not judge at a first glance. This place is clean, comfortable, and EXTREMELY well setup. I was shocked to be honest with you as I expected much less. And that is to say nothing of the overwhelming hospitality that this facility offered. From the moment we stepped into the building I felt like the owner, Paul was an old friend I hadn’t see in a while. He made us feel extremely comfortable, welcome, and walked us through everything and then some. Absolute boss that he is, I felt like I was going over to sing at a close friend’s house. The drinks he recommended were phenomenal and I will 100% be bringing my woman back to this establishment. Hope to try the food next time, if it’s half as good as it smells, it’ll get a five star review as well.

Was extremely disappointed in the Korean chicken. It was Tyson frozen nuggest tossed in a sauce that was very bland. Not the Korean Fried Chicken shown on the menu for $12.99 😳The soup did not much flavor it seem to miss the fish base typically used for this noodle dish. I agree could use some improvements and hope to see this place succeed but cutting corners is not a good sign. People will pay for quality and consistency. Wish you the best! I may try again another time.

Went there with a group of non-vegetarians, but luckily they offer numerous vegetarian and vegan options. The food and service were great! And I love the kimchi. Two thumbs up!

Don’t sleep on this place!!! This lil gem has the best Korean food in the area by a mile! We walked in late in the afternoon, and were greeted by the owner. She was the only server, and, she was literally be-bopping all over the restaurant. When the food came, it was SOOOOOOO good! Bold, flavorful, spicy, and fresh as can be. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place!

Firstly, the owner was amazing. She was very helpful in explaining the dishes. Food was delicious. Soju, delicious! The icing on the cake was when I was nursing and my hands were full, she even cut up my dish so that I could eat it as a Korean person would. That shows a true level of care for her customers and especially for that reason, we will return!

This is the best place to get real korean food in Daytona. They make everything themselves and it is a family owned establishment! The people are so friendly and seem to love what they do. I appreciate the hospitality this restaurant offers. Real Korean dishes are made here! This place has the best Kimchi and Bugogi in town!

I’d share a photo of my takeout food but I ate it all. We’ve been coming here since we returned to the US 2 years ago and I thought I needed to post a 5 star response after all this time. We lived in a Seoul for a total of 5 years and had our favorite spots to eat. Today I ordered the kimchi soup and I am so pleased! It’s actually better than my local shop in Seoul! Loaded with port and even rice noodle and lots of tofu. Super good and filling! It is a meal as long as you order rice with it. I drop the stew on top. So try this spot. Run by a Mom with 2 kids…..definitely family owned and home-cooked meals made with love.

I love eating here! The food is packed with flavor, the service is fantastic, and we love watching the different music artists on TV while we're there! This time we took my picky kids who BOTH enjoyed their meals!!! Delicious!

I just stumbled upon this place and I’m definitely going back! I ordered when I got there, with my food being made to go. The family that runs this place is so friendly and I could’ve sat there for hours and talk to them. They have so much passion in this restaurant and the food is so delicious! I had to take a picture of the front of the menu because it was just so lovely. That’s what actually caught my attention even before opening the menu. This place is like a no guilty way to still get the food that you want because the owner explained to me how there is no MSG. Yum! What a win!

These restaurant owners must have their cousins writing these other reviews. 4.7 for a place like this is blasphemy. This place is a food poison haven. The servers are sweet, but run around like chickens with their heads cut off trying their best to keep up with a slow cooks. You can glance on the kitchen as you make your was out and it looks like a Gordon Ramsay nightmare episode. Do not spend your money here unless you want to be laid out in your bathroom floor at 2am asking God to finally take you home.

The real deal! What a gem! We ordered a shrimp Korean pancake, Bool-go-gi bowl, pork belly with kim chi bowl and seafood soon-doo-boo. All freshly prepared and served screaming hot to the table. All were delicious.

This was my first experience with Korean food and it was delicious. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in the area and will likely become a weekly visit for me. The staff is incredibly friendly, we expressed being unfamiliar with the food and they took the time to explain the menu and what to expect with the dishes. My husband and I both enjoyed our own and each other's entrees. We left comfortably full and feeling great! It is evident the ingredients are fresh and the dishes are healthy. This restaurant is a breath of fresh air in terms of good food. I am very excited to return!

We visited Chop Chop about 15 months ago first time inside the restaurant. The meals were phenomenal back then… fresh, large portions, and good tasting meat and sauce. However, the last time we went there a couple of days ago, we were extremely disappointed with our pickup order. We got the opposite of what we were expecting. The meals were not fresh, the portions were small, and the noodles and meat were not good tasting at all. We will not be going back. It’s so disappointing! 😕

I haven’t had Korean food In a while and it definitely satisfied my craving. Food was amazing, service was a little slow but we weren’t in a hurry either. Will definitely come here again and definitely recommend coming here

We were driving through Daytona and stopped here given the outstanding reviews. The service was outstanding. We enjoyed the food and the KPop video around the restaurant. The reviews we read set expectations sky high. Consider this to be a restaurant adjacent to a strip center, with a very casual atmosphere. I've had Korean food on several occasions and this was fine but i expected great given the reviews. So in the end I found this to be an acceptable restaurant but not one i would go out of my way to visit again. We left satisfied but not delighted.

BEST. FOOD. IN. DAYTONA. My wife and I have eaten here close to 20 times over the past 2 years. I love supporting their business and the owners are just as personable as you want or leave you alone as much as you need. The food is where they really shine. Everything is fresh, delicious and cooked perfectly EVERY. TIME. The menu covers all kinds of tastes from spicy to sweet, umami to just plain rice, they have you covered. Their fried chicken is juicy and incredibly flavorful with the sauce its tossed in. The fried rice has an incredible umami that tickles your mouth in flavor and the fried egg on top adds a great crispy and creamy finish to each bite. The beef bulgogi is the recommended first entree if its your first foray in Korean cuisine. Perfectly marinated beef and fresh fried veggies paired with a simple white rice provide an easy going but super flavorful dish. You can make the bulgogi as spicy or mild as you wish (I ask for mine to be as spicy as possible) and any way you order will satisfy your hunger perfectly. Amazing restaurant, please support it if you're in the area 💙

How could we have not found this restaurant sooner, the food was out of this world. The Yaki Mandu, Bulgogi, kimchi all fresh and authentic. It was a pleasure speaking with the owners, my husband got to brush up on his Korean he hasn’t used since the Army. Can’t wait to return.
