Came in this hospital at 1am in the morning with my 2 year old child because he has a fever of 101 and he was shaking in pain because of the stomach pain. They did oral and nasal swab on him and told us to wait in the lobby. 3 hours passed nobody saw us nor the result of the swab is not even done. I ended up leaving the hospital. Don't come here this hospital is no good. I would avoid this hospital and I will not recommend it to any of my close friend or family. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL THEY ARE NO GOOD. IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY FRIENDS DON'T SEND THEM HERE.

The only reason that I'm rating 4 stars, is because every single nurse (except for one, but neither my mother or I remember her name) in the ER kept telling me to shut up because I was screaming, but I was screaming for help because I knew a seizure or something very much like it was going to happen soon. That, and because I had to call 911 on myself the day after they discharged me the first time. But when I arrived back the following day, once I was finally properly admitted, THOSE nurses were absolutely remarkable and supportive and are definitely very much worth their education. Most of the doctors who rounded on me were excellent too.

Came in for my son to get stitches. Waited about an hour before getting called back into a room. With the TV for kids it made it feel a lot shorter so it wasn't a bad wait. Overall, the entire staff was so kind and efficient. Once we were back in the room we never had to wait long for anything. The staff was always asking if we needed anything and made sure we got sent home with all the supplies needed to take care of the stitches received. Truly a great experience.

This was my first visit to Mease, and I cannot speak highly enough about the care I had there. Every single person went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and educated about my surgery. The aftercare was spectacular, and the nurses were simply outstanding. They went out of their way to be patient and kind, and there's no way to overstate how important that was for both me and my husband.

I delivered my baby at MCH. The nursing and ancillary staff here is amazing. They attended to all of my needs and took care of me as family. I’d like to thank all of my nurses, Nicole CNM for delivering my baby (exceptional and did an awesome job), Whitney, Cindy, Casey, Jessica, Linda. Their pct Ana is unbelievable and so helpful. Thank you for all that you do. 😊

I was in the hospital on two occasions in May and had also had an outpatient procedure so I am not sure which one I am evaluating. I was very happy with my care on all occasions. The staff is very well trained and showed a lot of empathy and concern for my care. I felt confident that I was in good hands from the transporters, the food service personnel, the housekeepers, the nurses and doctors, the many individuals who did my test were all professional and took an interest in me as an individual. I am grateful for their care.

I arrived at the emergency room and was received immediately. I was quickly ushered in for treatment and after a CT scan was admitted to the hospital. Every phase of my visit and stay was an outstanding experience for me. I received top notch care from caring professionals, from the persons who change the bed linens to the medical staff. I cannot say enough good things about the experience.

I cannot speak highly enough about my experience having my baby here last week. I was extremely anxious going in and the staff went out of their way to keep me in the loop on what was going on. Every single person we came across was extremely caring and knowledgeable and every effort was made to ensure a smooth delivery and aftercare. The staff in the OR, Ashley, Naomi, Erika and Jessica, among many others, consistently went above and beyond and I will never forget the level of care I received here. Visits from staff were condensed and as minimal and effective as possible to not disturb us, especially at night, but we always had everything we needed. Every shift change we were updated on what to expect for the day/night and was seamless. My first two deliveries were at another hospital and this third experience was extremely better. Thank you again!!!

My experience at the Mease countryside hospital was excellent! I am very glad to have chosen this hospital to give birth to my first child. From the moment that my husband and I got to the hospital, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and were informed. All of the nurses where so caring for me and my baby. The lactation consultant’s did an amazing job! I will be forever grateful to the stuff for the wonderful service! Thank you!

My visit was absolutely fantastic. The preparation for surgery was quick and easy. I was always communicated with to tell me what was next and what it would be like when I woke up. Someone was always there asking me how I was doing. It felt like every single person (there were many) that worked with me had the exact same training because everyone treated me in the same courteous and respectful way. When I gave the Daisy Award, it was difficult to pick just one person. Everything I asked for was provided. Everything regarding my comfort was provided. Any update I asked for was provided quickly. Everyone was just so friendly that I felt like I wanted to stay there because I knew I was in great hands. Any time I pushed the button to request assistance, it was only seconds before someone responded. This was so dramatically different from hospitals I've been in before. I just can't say enough about how impressed I am with how well I was treated at Mease Countryside Hospital. I would never want to go anywhere else.

My c-section went very smoothly and the staff made me feel super comfortable. After care wildly exceeded our expectations. The nurses were extremely helpful with breastfeeding and helped us establish routines before returning home with baby girl.

All of the maternity nurses are incredible. So kind and helpful. It takes such a special person to be able to do everything they do. Annie in labor and delivery and Meagan, Cheryl in the maternity ward made my experience truly great. I couldn't have asked for better. Thank you

Worst experience I have ever had at a ER. The doctor that “cared” for me was Mironova, Irina. She was very rude. Did not listen to what I was saying. Did not care about what I was concerned about. She kept asking do I want nausea medication when I have told her repeatedly I do not need them and I was not nauseous. Then when the results of the CT came in, I expressed my concern about not wanting the doctors there doing anything because I am a transplant patient and I was not comfortable doing anything at the hospital since they do not know anything about my transplant. She then told me I can sign the AMA forms and go, so I did. I “refused” care since she would not listen to me. She did not listen to any of my concerns nor listen to my medical history. She acted like she knew exactly what I was talking about before I even said it. I will NEVER go back to this hospital! On the bright side, my nurse in the ER was Sam and she was fantastic! Loved her! All the other team members was great.. EXCEPT FOR THE DOCTOR.

Our delivery was very smooth. But I just have to rave about our amazing nurse Tracy the day of delivery. She took exceptional care of me and truly cared about my well being! Right from the beginning she was a pleasant face to see during such a joyous but laboring day. She made our experience top notch and will be something I will forever be grateful for.

My experience was the best that I could have ever asked for. From beginning to end I was taken great care of in a professional and caring manner. The front desk, triage, billing, nurse, tech, and Dr are all incredibly kind, compassionate and caring, as well as knowledgeable. I would like to mention that Drew, the nurse went out of his way to go above and beyond by taking me to my car in the wheelchair. You are by far the best hospital that anyone could ever dream of being at when in need. Thank you so much. Carina Howes

I have been twice lately for 2 different needs, and both visits I found the medical staff there to be the kindest, most patient, agreeable staff I have ever encountered. For example I was in Friday night for a situation, and when Dr . Michael Gable came in my room to meet me he actually apologized for me having to spend my Friday night in a hospital. The care I received was superb, and with the medicine he prescribed I feel like I have a great chance for recovery. My hat is off to the staff there. They are really great, facilities are clean, equipment top notch. Highly recommended.

The ER personal were great but they did leave me alone for 2 hours with no information and would not come to the call button. But after being admitted the staff in the cardiac unit was phenomenal. My nurse rosemary was the best I've ever had. Such a sweet and very attentive person. All around best nurse I've every had ever. Very pleased with the hospital.

Wow, with having major back surgery, never felt like I was alone. Whenever I needed someone to help me go to the bathroom someone was always right to me. Always a pleasure to help me with whatever I needed. The nurses were the best. Very nice nurses and caretakers. My surgeon was great he came to see me everyday of my stay and always very personal and well informed. I would of given this hospital 10 stars if I could of. From the first time coming to my pre-op until them releasing me. Thanks everyone!!

Unexpectedly had to stay in a hospital for a couple days due to infection. However my stay was amazing, like a five star hotel! My room was clean and very nice! The staff was amazing, very friendly, helpful, and and constantly was asking if I needed anything. The doctor was great, spend time with me, answered all the questions and was very kind! If it was not a hospital I would check in there for a while :-) Everyone from the doctor to food delivery was just amazing! Thank you so much for being so good!

Hospital staff has been remarkably kind and caring for each of our several visits. From the security guard at the front door, to staff at the admissions counter, to ER, to floor staff, we have felt cared for and have been in the hands of competent people. Great job all. Keep it up; your patients are coming in their most vulnerable moments, and you are definitely up to the challenge.

I had lower lumbar spinal fusion surgery. If I ever have to go back to a hospital this is the place I want to be. Everyone was attentive and caring. Room was spacious and easy to move around in. Food was very good (I was on a regular diet). But most of all the nurses, doctors and staff were amazing. I felt safe and cared for at all times. Nobody wants to be in a hospital but if it’s necessary I can highly recommend Mease Countryside Hospital.

I unfortunately had to be admitted to the hospital. Fortunately the staff here was welcoming, patient and on top of everything. Dr. Michael Bruno was informative and kind. He listened and answered any questions I had. Every single staff member that I had during my stay that was great. But nurse Jennifer had the humor and compassion I needed especially toward the end when i was feeling homesick. Thank you for making an unexpected situation a little easier.

Before coming to the ER I was very concerned as I would not rate my experience with any other ER visit in my life as good. The staff was friendly, and genuinely seemed concerned about my care. They also worked through the steady stream of people coming in efficiently and much more quickly than I expected. I only came in due to urgent care turning me away and if it weren't for the significantly higher co-pay I incur for an ER visit, I'd readily go back if in need of urgent care in the future.

Although our ER visit was insane (over 30 people all thought it a good idea to visit the ER on a Monday morning! Plus supposedly 13 ambulances!?!) ....so we had to wait over 8 hours to be seen by an ER doctor...however, the vitals' nurse-folks were super friendly & on the ball....techs were brilliantly lined up for my husband to have an X-ray, EKG, & Ct Scan done (not to mention the warm blankets) during the long wait, instead of on the back end when he finally made it into an ER room... considering all the commotion things went very well! My husband enjoyed some quality care from the attending doctor and super awesome nurses....plus the test results explained well & great follow-up care instructions given! Thank you for taking such great care of us (as usual)!

My stay at Mease Countryside was excellent. The staff is the best and was always asking if there were any needs. The two nurses I was in most contact with were Justin and Amanda on the third floor. I appreciate the care and steady flow of information regarding my condition and care. I was also very fortunate to have Dr Patel on my case. She is one of the best!. My sincere thanks to all of the staff!

I had an amazing experience for the delivery of my third child. This was my first time at Mease Countryside and I am beyond pleased. I had a rough delivery but everyone that cared for me was absolutely amazing and so sweet. From the delivery nurses to postpartum nurses and everyone in between, I can’t say anything negative at all. Thank you for being amazing and so caring and sweet!

Everyone was absolutely lovely. We were on a quick 2 day vacation from Alpharetta GA and my 4 year old caught a virus. We sure chose the right spot to bring him for help. Every single person was so kind and informative but Dino, Helene and Miss Pat went above and beyond to ensure that Charlie was comfortable and not worried. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of my boy so well. He also couldn’t wait to show his Dad all of the goodies he got while we were there. Bounce balls, a marvel coloring book, stickers he shared and Gatorade from the “most coolest robot vending machine ever!”.

This hospital is extremely efficient, the staff are friendly & competent & they ALWAYS do their best for the patient! My 30- year old son is a bone marrow transplant survivor of 21 years and I really feel that he always gets the best of care, as well as rest of our family, when there has been any medical emergency of any sort. Keep up the good work, you heroic medical professionals!

all the doctors and nurses in the ER were so amazing and super nice on a moment that I was in so much pain and just sick … especially a nurse named Sam. She was so amazing and nice even though it was close to the end of her shift you wouldn’t have know. with her smile and pleasantness, she was on top of things and worked fast and hard to get me comfortable as soon as possible. I am so grateful to the whole staff that was there the 2 times I had to go. 😁 thank you all so much.

Although all of the medical personnel taking care of me were excellent and I can only give high compliments to each and every one of them, I thought the entire process from when I first stepped foot into the waiting room until I was discharged was way longer than I would have liked. The chairs in the waiting room and whether I was in a bed for a diagnostic test or another chair for whatever reason, were so uncomfortable that my back was extremely sore by the time that I left. (I didn't have back pain when I initially arrived.) However, I realize you need these items to be made with a certain material so that they can easily be cleaned and disinfected and I also know that you cannot please everybody.

You should be so very proud to have such amazing people on your staff. Even though the wait was long (7 hours) everything and everyone was so nice. This was my first time in the ER, and the experience was very positive. From beginning to end, such wonderful people. I have just a few Names: Elysia and Jackie and Richard, the PA. Thank you so much, and God Bless !!

Five Stars. Our son had his first ER visit. He fell at school and split open his forehead. The staff that treated us was remarkable. I really wish I could thank them again for making our two-year-old son better. It hurts the parents more than it hurts the kids. Thank you Colleen, Charlene, and Drew. You made a scary experience a bit more comforting.

I felt I was well taken care of. Every Dr, nurse, tech and associate was excellent! Everyone of them exibited a positive attitude and made my experience the very best I could expect from being sick in a Hospital. Dr Boyd was difinitive with a plan of care with follow through. He did a terrific job and I am grateful!

Everyone treated me with the upmost respect and kindness. I was seen immediately by the triage nurse and taken back to receive the procedures I requested within 30 minutes and answers within 1-2 hours. Most pleasant experience I’ve had at an emergency department in my lifetime. Staff is astounding.

Delivered my baby here in December. Each and every staff member was so kind and I feel went above and beyond helping me to have a positive, healthy experience. I always felt heard and listened to by the nurses and doctors and very well taken care of. I look back on my time at the hospital so thankful that I chose Mease Countryside. Plus it is so clean and nicely remodeled. And the complimentary valet is well thought out and seamlessly run.

I had a very positive experience once I was admitted into the hospital. Spent 7 hours waiting in the ER for a room. When you are ill sitting in the ER for 7 hours is not a very pleasant experience. Once I had a room the service was exceptional. The nurses and staff were always pleasant and helpful in any way needed. I would highly recommend Morton Plant.

Mease Countryside is the best hospital I have been to. I had a wonderful experience from the moment I first contacted the hospital, to the day I was discharged. The staff is wonderful. Everyone was empathetic, professional, and friendly. The rooms were clean, despite the construction. They made me feel I was in good hands. Thank you all.

From the moment I arrived for my procedure, from the valet to the volunteer who directed me on where to go, to all the staff, nurses, techs. therapists right down to the great housekeeping staff I was treated well and with respect, professionalism, kindness and positive attentive interactions. This was a difficult and scary time for me and everyone took such good care of me that I will recommend this hospital to anyone who is in need of care!

I have been there twice. Once for a bone marrow biopsy and then for a blood transfusion. Both times I was very impressed by how positive the the teams were, friendly, helpful, understanding, not just to the patients but with each other. They worked together very nicely. Helping out, pitching in, without any negative talk, getting upset or angry with each other. I was a nurse in several different hospitals and facilities over the years and don't remember ever experiencing teamwork that flowed so smoothly and peacefully. During my transfusion they were short staffed and extremely busy, but everyone stayed positive, encouraging and helpful to the patients and each other. When I thanked them, they all said they enjoyed the people they worked with and the company they work for, BayCare. They said they are treated very well and feel appreciated. Most of them said they would not want to work anywhere else.

  • 5/5 Michele 1 year ago on Google
My nurse Michelle was wonderful during my iron transfusion. Kept checking if i needed anything. Gave me a nice warm blanket. Offered me food or drink. Explained everything she was doing, side affects to look for and how long the infusion would take. When the valet kept blowing up my phone to get my car as they were closing soon she even went down to try and get my car parked in a covered area (it was raining) out if the valet parking area so i would not have to walk to the main hospital building to get my keys. Rhis was going above and beyond on her part. Very attentive. I was there for about 3 hours and was very impressed with ALL the nurses with their compassion and caring attitude with all their patients. It was obvious that they knew many of the patients as they were regular visitors to receive their chemo treatments.

Only issue I had was the long wait to go from recovery to my room after my surgery. Very pleased with the care I received. I would also like to thank my pre-op and post-op nurses Natasha and Sarah. They were both very professional and pleasant, putting my mind at ease. Entire staff was great.

Registering was easy except when you have 3 insurances. It’s confusing to add 3. Staff is very well organized with triage to getting blood work, and any diagnostic test you may need. I was seen by another nurse and PA or Dr. I was very impressed how they keep patients moving and things done. I was put in a room fairly quick. My lady nurse was great, but the male nurse didn’t have a personality. He came in did what he had to without talking then left. Anything I asked for he had to go find. I’m guessing because the rooms weren’t stocked. My Dr David Payne has the best bedside manners of any Dr I’ve ever seen. He is very caring and informative. He takes if time with you and makes sure he has answered any questions I may had. I wish he had his own practice because I would sure go to him. He’s the best.

All of the staff was extremely helpful and very pleasant. RN Jason was more than kind and knowledgeable and explained everything as the testing went. Luckily he was able to get my IV in after no luck from another nurse. He said I have "dancing veins" as I know! Doctor Alumed was very nice & explained everything as we went with testing. My experience at Mease was very positive.

Well, we took my sister here a few months ago because she showed obvious signs of having a stroke so we took her here but they didn’t want to listen because she was “too young to have a stroke” so they discharged us and my sister ended up having another stroke two days later. Luckily we went to a different hospital when she had her second one because they medically treated her unlike this hospital and I still can’t believe they discharged us with her paperwork saying “unknown” This hospital isn’t very good and the staff were horrible. I definitely don’t recommend going to this hospital.

Your ER doctors and staff are amazing 👏 thank you Dr. Scott & Dr. Ahmed, Josh 407797, ARNP/PA Dave, Tech Thomasz, and the transport college student with the super charged personality. You all took such great care of me Tuesday morning. You really showed me the quality of care and respect when I needed it.

Highly do not recommend.. regulars here as loved one is sick with cancer. Nurse in the ER stated she was new then proceeded to rip an IV out while his arm was hanging in the air, and left bloody gauze on the table in the waiting room unsanitary and incredibly unprofessional. Don’t have anything nice to say unfortunately.

The pediatrics team that took care of our baby girl was efficient, caring and understanding. Especially, nurse April, she really showed me compassion in my moment of doubt and worry. Dr. Kotwal and his team worked hard to find the diagnosis which wasn't so clear at first.

The pediatric PA that took care of my daughter was very caring, so were the nurses that assisted. They cared about calming us down coming in with a two year old who needed stitches. They took really good care of her and did a great job with the stitches to ensure no scar as much as possible.

From the minute I entered the facility, everyone was kind and attentive and made me feel more comfortable about being there. The guy who weighed me was stellar. The lady at the reception desk who checked me in was great. My nurse was great. Dr. McNeal was great. The people who did my CT scan were great. The woman, Ashley, who did my transvaginal sonogram and ultrasound was triple amazing. I thank you all for that as going to a hospital is traumatic in the first place.

This hospital is extraordinary! I gave birth here back in November 2021 and the care was excellent then, but this past weekend was even better. My son was unfortunately hospitalized with 2 different viruses and we had to spend two days here in the pediatric wing. Upon arrival, they had his gown laid out as well as a stuffed animal and Lego set to keep him entertained. They also provided a basket full of snacks, a sippy cup, tissues, napkins and even stuff for me like water and cups ready to go, toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, etc. they also had a cot ready for me as we arrived very late in the night. The service was spectacular! Every nurse, doctor and respiratory specialist that helped in our care was exceptional and was so patient with my almost 2 year. He fought just about every medication, monitor and breathing treatment but the team made it look easy and even taught me a few new tricks to make it easier at home. They were so incredibly helpful and answered every question I had. The nurses even brought him more toys to play with and extended his oxygen line so that he wasn’t confined to the hospital bed. I 1000% recommend Mease Countryside to anyone, especially those pregnant or have littles in need of care!!!

We checked in on a Monday to be induced but baby didn't want to come out we were in the delivery room for 3 days. The delivery room was spacious which aloud some room to walk around. All of the nurses we had were amazing!! They were sweet, knowledgeable and very attentive. We lived Maddi and got very lucky that she was working the night I gave birth. The only improvement I would say, is because of a baby boom that week we ended up in an over flow room in post that wasn’t the best. But all in all the experience was great because of all the nurses.

I had the most amazing birthing experience at labor and delivery. Dr. Sites was so welcoming, informative and reassuring to me and my husband's transition from a home birth to hospital birth. Dr. McNeal was very positive and encouraging during my labor which made the birthing so beautiful and pain free. I am also grateful for all the nurses and the immense kindness they shared with us. Thank you, we hope to birth our future children there again, God willing. Our daughter is healthy, strong and happy.

The nursing staff is wonderful! I did have an issue before surgery... My surgery was scheduled 2 months in advance. 5 days before surgery I got a call from the finance office telling me that I owed them over $4,000 or I could not have surgery. When I spoke with my insurance company, they told me I would only need to pay a $350 deductible. I was very upset not knowing if I could come up with $3,500 more than I expected to. I had spent 2 months getting numerous tests and visiting other physicians to get ready. I was afraid I would have to cancel my surgery. The hospital submitted it as observation instead of a standard admission. I have high blood pressure and I'm diabetic. I had to be admitted. I was on a surgical nursing floor and I was in a room with someone staying 3 days. She was not there for observation. Even after speaking to someone in billing I have not had any assistance from the hospital. As I said before, the care I received was wonderful, but I'm not sure I would trust the finance department again.
