His staff is also kind and caring. I had to get on the table with a full bladder everyday and they worked with me and always made me feel at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Melotek and his team. Recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, felt like my world had just caved in. My Urologist did a good job of explaining my options and said he worked closely with Dr. Melotek and highly recommended him. What a great favor he did for me ! Dr. Melotek outlined the whole 45 day Radiation treament plan, gave me a link to a very informative video that made both my wife and myself have a very good understanding of what was to come. I can't tell you how well prepared I felt on my first day. Every day after that his entire staff treated me like I was the most important person in the world, they went out of their way to make feel comfortable about the procedure and amazingly did it with a great sense of humor ! Nothing was taken lightly procedure wise, but I kidded with them and they gave it right back!! My Urologist was right when he said, "during your treament period, you will get to know them and you will care about them, and they will care about you." The entire staff are of the quality and professionalism you hope to find during a time like this. I can't thank them enough. The "Doc" and his office manager Maddy see to it everything you need to get through this is inplace before you start and things like schedule changes are handled with ease. From the moment I walked into Saint Lucie Radiation Oncology I knew that I was in the right place. Dr. Malotek was very patient and explained my course of treatment fully to me so that I would know what to expect. All the staff from the receptionist to the techs were very friendly and you could tell that they really cared about making you feel as comfortable as possible. I had the experience of being treated with radiation for prostate cancer by Dr. Melotek. This treated lasted for 45 sessions that was over a period of five per week for nine weeks. Over that extended period I, obviously, had enough time to completely evaluate Dr. Melotek. In my opinion, he is perfect in every sense of the word as a professional physician. He spent all the time with me, as necessary, every session for me to understand and feel comfortable in this process. It didn’t take long for me to have a complete comfort zone for this nine-week period. I would recommend Dr. Melotek to any future patient without any reservations.

I do not have enough words to recommend Dr. James Melotek. He is a great doctor in all the sense of what one can expect from an extraordinary doctor. Besides being an extraordinary scientist of oncological knowledge, Dr. Melotek is a great human being. He took care of my wife Walda, and the treatment and care he provided to her, gave her hope, strength and a great quality of life. During her treatment, Dr. Melotek was a true angel, who patiently knew how to rigorously study her clinical situation and proposed and accompanied us with the best medical care available, that took away her pain and gave life back to my beloved wife. I feel very privileged to have worked with this young brilliant doctor and his amazing team. I consulted with Dr. Melotek in order to discuss receiving radiation therapy to treat stage 1 bilateral breast cancer. A big shout out to all of the technicians and absolutely amazing staff who worked so hard in the back scenes making sure I always felt comfortable and safe.
