I visited this facility with a very distressed health situation & thinking I was at an.Emergency Facility. (Disregard the larger than life, red, bold ‘EMERGENCY’ signs on the exterior sides of the Bldg) The admitting staff was wonderful. and the facility appeared very clean. Sadly, the Doc/Technician on staff was a Dr. F. Russo & he was pretty much professionally incompetent. His initial concern was that I was Covid positive. The nursing staff person ( Robert ) felt the need to perform a lobotomy with the nose swab only to discover I was Covid negative.Dr. Russo, had zero bedside manner.. He ordered a basic CBC and a few other tests only to discharge me and send me home. (with chest pain & labored breathing ) Dr. explained to me that he was a ‘walk in clinic’ & not an ‘Emercency Facility’- again disregard the notice of ‘we treat major & minor medical emergencies. Dr. Russo explained he had zero capabilities to transport patients to a hospital.. I was discharged, only to be readmitted elsewhere. If you have a real medical emergency - seek medical attention elsewhere.. I spent 3 hours in a patient room with a BP CUFF, heart monitor & odometer which were either broken or not plugged into electricity. .All vitals upon arrival were scary yet unable to be monitored after I was brought to a patient room. The entire visit was dangerous & counterproductive and added more stress & discomfort to an already dire situation. .

My 4 year old son and I both required urgent care while on vacation this past week and we had a wonderful experience @ GuideWell. We were greeted kindly by the staff, seen quickly by both nurses and the Doctor and given top notch care (including snacks and juice for my son.) The facility is clean and I walked away very impressed, which is not something most usually can say about an urgent care facility! Highly recommend.

Honestly a great experience. Went in for a pediatric visit, and the doctor and staff were exceptional. They went above and beyond to make my daughter feel comfortable. We will definitely be back in the event of an urgent need. This place did not feel like a standard urgent care; it was much more comfortable and organized.

Staff is Absolutely professional , helpful and caring. The facility was spotless and we were put in a room quickly. All staff members were thorough and highly trained. All physicians and nurse had emergency care experience. Everything was explained to us in detail and we were pleasantly surprised. This is now are go to facility.

I can't say enough good things about this facility to fully express how wonderful it is. The staff the so kind and caring. The service is fast and amazing. There is never a wait and you can even make an appt ahead of time for the same day. Doctors and nurses come to your aide immediately, no long waiting while in the room for a diagnoses. I also love that the facility is truly like an ER, with the ability to offer x-rays, ultrasound and CT scans. They can also administer an IV if need be. We have been 3 times and every time we have gotten the best care quickly!

Excellent experience . The front desk staff was welcoming and attentive . The intake person was helpful and reassuring. The ultrasound tech was very thorough. And the Dr. was knowledgeable and very good at explaining their findings and instructions. I would absolutely have the confidence to return here and to recommend this urgent care to others.

I had an incredible experience today. Everyone was so friendly as well as professional. The doctor and his nurse were so nice!! And the facility is spotless! It was a very pleasant and well organized experience from start to finish! I highly recommend this emergency clinic!!!

From the moment I was greeted by Travis at the front desk, who was friendly, professional & caring to the experience I had back in Urgent Care with Nurse Katie & Dr. Paul Russo, I felt well attended to….they listened; they took my vitals & a thorough history; I received a physical exam; they performed a test that determined my diagnosis; the kind doctor discussed a care plan; they called in a Rx to my pharmacy and gave me a summary of my visit all within 30 minutes!! The facility is pristine and so beautifully decorated. If you desire quick & stress-free care this is indeed the place, hands down!! They offer X-rays, CT scans, Ultrasound & Lab work all right there on the premises. This is MY PLACE as my doctors are always booked. Took my family member to this new Guide Well Urgent Care this morning for something our Baycare PCP ignored earlier in the week. This place is awesome. Well equipped and well staffed. Doctor was so nice and knowledgeable. The assistant who did vitals and dressed the wound was great. A first class operation and if we need immediate care again, this clinic will be it! Thanks Dr. Russo and Michael.

This place is the best. I kinda want to keep it my secret as I never have to wait and I feel each and every person whom works there is genuinely nice and caring. They do a lot of the testing in house and it makes things so much easier. My visit was with Dr. Russo and I found him respectful, competent and extremely knowledgeable but seriously the whole team was AMAZING. I wish they could be my regular/ primary care physicians. It would make my life so easy! I visited a couple months prior for a tumble down my stairs and had such a great visit as well.

Went to the Palm Harbor location yesterday for what turned out to be the flu. I was dreading the experience because we all know how urgent care clinics go— impersonal service, and long wait times. I showed up 25 mins prior to my appointment. The front office staff was excellent, prompt and professional, completed the intake process as soon as I walked in and I was immediately taken back to my room. The facility was extremely clean and organized. The PCT immediately came in and took my vitals, and the provider (not sure if she was an APP or physician) followed promptly after. She was very kind and professional with excellent bedside manner. I was in and out in under an hour, including Covid/flu swab with result wait-time. I pray this facility stays this way and doesn’t ever turn into one of the run-of-the-mill nightmare urgent care experiences!!

I am so impressed with the quality of care and speed to which we were helped. My son had a severe abrasion that was really messy - they were able to X ray and stitch beautifully (17 stitches on a 9 year old) and supported him emotionally the entire time. Highly recommend this location and all the doctors/nurses that we saw. We are so grateful for his recovery and how we were treated.

Very efficient. The doctors and nurses gave excellent care. I needed a CT scan which they did right there in their office and had results in 10 minutes. I also needed lab work done and got results very quickly. I highly recommend using this office for any urgent care you might need.

No one wants to have to go to the doctor but my visit was absolutely wonderful. From check in, to the nurses, x-ray tech, and NP - this was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had when feeling unwell. I am so thankful to have a wonderful primary care doctor but when I needed to be seen on a Sunday and she was unavailable, the entire team here took me in, walked me through everything, provided treatment and discharged me with confidence in my diagnosis/treatment and even laughter. (hey! Who doesn’t love jokes and laughter to help us through tough times?!) Thank you to each and every one that helped me through today. I am grateful for the care I received! -KV

My first experience there was totally awesome. They are very professional did not have to wait. And I was very impressed with all the testing they did in such a short time I was in and out of there with great results. I would always go there before going to a hospital emergency room if possible.

My experience was absolutely phenomenal. I went in due to miscarriage symptoms and every employee I interacted with were so kind and informative. Especially the PA Michelle Acosta. She was heaven sent.

Everyone here was so nice and caring! It is very clean and they are friendly and professional! They saw me quickly and addressed my concerns. While no one wants to go to an urgent care - this is WAY better than an emergency room! A big thank you to everyone!

After a stressful day at work, my blood pressure went through the roof. The doctor and nurses were wonderful. Did everything and put my mind at ease. Absolutely phenomenal!! I had blood, urine, EKG, I was amazed by all the technology and care!

Everyone in this place, from the girl who signed us in to the doctor who took care of the wound, was very professional and extremely knowledgeable, and made it a point to put me at ease. I was told the extent of the wound, what I could expect, and what symptoms would signal that I needed to get seen again. They also prescribed some medication that helped it to heal faster. Overall, a great medical center with expert physicians.

First time in and it was helpful, friendly and well laid out. Ii will not wait so long next time to seek your care. I felt better in 3 hours than I had in 2 weeks. I give the care side ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

This is my second time visiting this facility. It is very clean, not a long wait, masks are provided upon arrival and staff are courteous. They have all sorts of equipment and a lab onsite to assist with accurate diagnosis. I would definitely recommend them.

Wow wow wow. Great service and medical staff. I was out in 45 minutes. Had an appt, took me right away. I explained myself the PA listened and provided feedback, she listened to what I had to say. The front desk was friendly and fast. My medical assistant or nurse explained everything before I left and made sure everything was correct. First time using this facility and company. Would recommend and come back.

Fantastic experience. Kathleen G NP was attentative, thorough and caring while assessing my sons head laceration and concussion. It was such a great alternative to the ER. The staff was kind and welcoming from the minute we walked through the door, easy check in process and we were walking out in an hour with our CT results and plan of care. Highly recommend.

Wonderful. The facility is spotless and the staff very competent and friendly. Care instructions were clear and informative and paperwork give upon discharge was complete including details of prescriptions sent to pharmacy. Today, several months after giving the above review, I went back today for a different issue. No vitals were taken. I was given some oral instructions by a PA regarding Tylenol (dose, frequency) and when I asked that it be written down for me I was told that it would be on the discharge papers. It wasn't, and when I pointed it out to the man who had me sign the discharge papers, he said that I should just ask a pharmacist who would advise me. When I protested, he went to consult the PA, and then told me a dosage and frequency, but it was not put in writing. I also told him that the steroid creme that had been prescribed for 7 days was about to expire, he said to just keep using it, contrary to the prescription.

Absolutely love GuideWell ER Doctors in Palm Harbor! Outstanding experience with administrative staff-very courteous, helpful, kind and efficient. They brought me to the treatment room very quickly and I was seen by the doctor and nurse right away. Very knowledgeable practitioners with impeccable bedside manners. I rarely need urgent care but the few times I have, GuideWell has never disappointed! Excellent patient care, timely interventions and super clean facility! Thank you, GuideWell ER Docs!

I brought my 4 year old daughter in to be seen and we received excellent care all the way from check in to check out! Mitzi did our check in and was very kind and helpful. Dr. Russo was super knowledgeable, offered clear explanations and was really great with my daughter. Cat, who went over our discharge paperwork, has a great disposition and took the time to make sure I understood everything. She made my daughter’s night by giving her stickers! Overall, the experience was above great and I would highly recommend them.

This was by far the BEST urgent care experience we have ever had. The front office staff were kind and respectful. The physician and nursing staff were attentive and incredibly efficient. The facility was very clean and the staff were clearly happy to be there. That is a great sign of a healthy work environment. I cannot recommend this facility enough. This place is awesome, great doctors, nurses, and staff. I was seen quickly with no wait and the tests done were thorough and seamless. I got my CT scan results within 15 minutes. No long wait like an ER and not nearly as expensive. My insurance covered my visit entirely. I would recommend GuideWell to anyone.
