Everyone at the office is great! Always greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff. And the best part, shots given by Miriam DO NOT HURT!

Dr. Girdhar was very helpful. After chasing symptom diagnosis for years with others, she identified cause of my non-allergy symptoms quickly by focussing on my history and an examination. Unlike others, she didn’t just do the standard pin prick tests and then tell me that I didn’t have allergies.

Dr. Girdhar was so informative and nice! As was the medical assistant, Katie. It was a very welcoming environment and I will definitely be returning.

I have been a patient of the office for 6 years for treatment of severe seasonal allergies. I have been very pleased with my care, which is fairly routine with regular shots. This year, my infant daughter had a reaction to a food on a Saturday. Dr. Girdhar squeezed us in the following week, explaining the urgency of diagnosis and treatment for infants with potential food allergies. She quickly diagnosed and referred us to an expert in food allergy treatments. Furthermore, she has been in continuous communication about how to introduce additional potential allergenic foods, and has provided guidance and care along with way. The office staff are easy to reach and always get back to me promptly when I call or text with questions. They are also really kind people! I strongly recommend Dr. Girdhar’s practice!

Great experience today at Hinsdale Asthma and Allergy Center. The front desk staff and the medical assistant were very nice and helpful. Dr. Manila Girdhar, DO was great! She made me feel I have finally found someone who would be able to find the cause of my allergy.

We came for a second opinion because I had some reservations about our first allergist. I am so glad we did!! Everyone in the office was so kind and helpful, there was a number I could text ahead of time to ask registration questions. I texted a question that was answered in minutes. Dr. Girdhar is a phenomenal doctor-truly listens to the patient/family, thoroughly explains everything and takes time to answer all questions. Food allergies with a young child are very scary, but I feel so confident with Dr. Girdhar managing my daughters issues!

She helped us to navigate a new and stressful diagnosis, spending the time to talk with us and educate us thoroughly, which was impressive—pleasant bedside manner. Forms for school were completed in a very timely manner. Communicating through text is so convenient. I also appreciate that Dr. Girdhar was considerate about the cost of medications. Thank you!!
