My sister was at Terra vista for only 4 short months . She walked in heathy and happy and 3 months later she had bruises all over her body. No one ever reported them and no one ever saw how they happened . The state was called and sent pictures and they reacted immediately . They were there the next day Investigating. We were actually shocked they were there so quickly but they said they took the pictures we sent them very seriously. NO ONE else did . My sister had many bruises but I think the one that really got them was a hand print bruise on her breast. The home always blamed it on Linda bumping into things or Linda falling . They even made comment that maybe she hit herself !!! Then they said one bruise that my sister had she hit her sister with her forearm And that’s how she got it . I’m her only sister and she never hit me but they would not change the incident report from saying that. I asked 3 times !!!! And had a picture to price it was wrong and they wouldn’t change it . She was there for 4 months and they “ could not “ keep her blood sugars regulated . She was a type 1 Diabetic and they told us before signing a contract that they could handle her sliding scale “No problem “ However after we got her moved in we found out from a nurse that this was not the case and most all their diabetics are type two. They even went on to say most type one diabetics go to a skilled nursing home.. But they took her and then did not check her blood sugars as needed so many times when they did check her she was over 400. they needed to be so she was always over 400 . Which protocol For them is over 400 send them to the hospital. Overall it was a pretty horrible experience. I will say some of the nurses and staff there were wonderful but it doesn’t help the facility because those people have no control over what the higher-ups do and don’t do. My sister died four months after being at Terra Vista. She came in healthy weighing about 140/150 pounds and died 4 months later at maybe 100 pounds if that . They didn’t care if she ate or not !!! After she died not a single word from the Home not a card not a text that an email sorry about your loss NOTHING !!!!’ Yet I received a heartfelt text From the salon lady there .at Terra vista who only met my sister once or twice . But from the people who saw my sister everyday and knew her well not a thing !!! From The home . Nothing for 2 weeks . Then a generic gift came In the mail From Amazon with a typed index card “ Sorry for you loose Terra vista “ The heartfelt text meant more then this generic off the belt gift they give everyone . Hell I got a hand written note when My dog died from the vet. Please investigate investigate investigate wherever you’re going to send your loved one. We picked the more expensive place For better care for my sister and that just wasn’t the case . I wish I could post pictures for you . They tell a story in themselves . No words would be needed .

As a staff member at Terra Vista, I am proud to share that our facility provides exceptional care for residents living with Alzheimer's and dementia. From the moment they arrive, we prioritize their comfort and well-being in a warm and welcoming environment. Our dedicated and compassionate staff understand the unique needs of each resident, and our facility is designed with safety and ease of navigation in mind. With personalized care plans, engaging activities, delicious meals, and open communication with families, we strive to create a supportive and enriching environment that sets us apart. If you're looking for outstanding care for your loved ones, I highly recommend our facility.

Incredible! Ellen was outstanding how she showed off your beautiful home. Being new to finding a home for dad we felt Ellen was incredible helping us understand what we needed to know and providing all we needed. After the tour we knew this was the place for dad immediately! This was based on your beautiful home but also Ellen. Ellen was also key to helping us transition understanding all the confusion and stress for all of us. Thank you for the warm Welcome and introductions of everyone we could clearly see all were genuine and it was their calling for taking care of our entire family. Thank you. We can not be happier.

At Terra Vista memory care home, our experience there for our family member has been very positive! The care givers and nurses are all very nice and very good at taking care of our loved one! We know this to be true because we visit often, 3-4 times a week and we see for ourselves how great the staff is and our family member who is, of couse, a resident there, tells us very often that she likes living there! We are so happy we found this lovely and caring home for our mom! The design inside the building is really very pleasant and I am picky so that says a lot and the courtyard outside very large and very beautiful!!

I have found working as a Caregiver to be a fulfilling experience. The work environment at Terra vista is not only professional but also very supportive. The team collaboration makes challenging days more manageable. My responsibilities are diverse, from assisting with daily activities, to giving physical and emotional support to residents. It's a role that demands versatility and I appreciate the opportunity to continue to learn and adopt. The most rewarding aspect is the relationship form with residents. Building trust and providing emotional support adds a personal touch to the job. Witnessing the positive impact of care on their lives is truly heart warming.

I’ve been working here at Terra vista for almost 2 years! And I just love this place ! This place feels like a home ! Makes our residents feel comfortable living in such a great place ! Residents can walk freely ! Because it is definitely NOT hospital environment! We have a lot of activities! The thing that I love the most was that even doe I work in the kitchen we get a lot of training ! We watch a lot of videos to learn how to deal with the residents ! I had never met anyone that had Alzheimer’s and I learned so much How to approach them, talk to them ! And how to interact with them ! If your looking for a place for your love one ! This is the place !
