Today, I had the fantastic opportunity to dine at Balckberry Market at the La Grange location. The place has a retro meets modern meets rustic look. The one part of the dining area has the retro looking mosaic tile. The wall behind the counter has the exposed brick while the lights above the counter is a shiny copper. Wood accents are scattered throughout. The order line moved very fast. When I got up to the counter, the gentleman was very nice. He showed me where to fill up my coffee, asked if I wanted my chocolate croissant warmed up,and even brought me my croissant. After my croissant, I went back in line to order the turkey, apple, and gouda sandwich. Chocolate croissant: warm, buttery, and flakey. The chocolate was rich and gooey. This is my favorite pastry. It reminds me of being in Paris. Drip coffee: Intelligentsia brand. Came out very hot, but was smooth and bold. I added cinnamon to it. Turkey, Apple, Gouda sandwich: was very good. It has the good turkey slices that remind me of Thanksgiving, lots of good cheese slices. Granny Smith apple slices, spring mix, and a berry vinaigrette. It came with a side of spring mix salad with the same vinaigrette that's on the sandwich. Overall, everything was so good! I really enjoyed coming here. I wish I lived closer, so I can come here everyday.

What drew me into this shop was that they use intelligentsia beans which is what I use at home. Ordered a hot late with caramel and a chocolate cookie. Both were great! The aesthetics of the place were nice and I would definitely come back.

Clean little coffee shop in the heart of downtown Lagrange. One of my favorite area. Staff was knowledgeable and place was so cute! Came at 9am on a Thursday morning and boy it was packed. Got a coffee and a raspberry lemon scone and both was delish. Have to come back with the kids for more pastries and tea!

In town visiting and ran across this quaint market! They’re newly opened and doing a great job. Clean place and friendly employees. My shaken Cinnamon Plum tea is delicious!

I recently visited this café and had a delightful experience. The drip coffee, sourced from Intelligentsia, impressed me with its rich and amazing flavor. The Vegan and gluten-free cake, supposedly their popular bakery item, lived up to its reputation – a delicious treat for those with dietary restrictions. Our breakfast choices included the Veggie Breakfast Sandwich, served with house potatoes, and the Breakfast Basics. Initially served with a premade omelette instead of scrambled eggs, the staff quickly rectified the error and provided sunny side up eggs upon request. Although a slight hiccup, the prompt correction demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction. The menu offers a variety of options, including breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, and soups. The ambiance of the place is noteworthy, featuring spacious seating that adds to the overall comfort. During my visit, Meagan assisted me in placing my order. Her helpful and friendly demeanor made my first experience at this establishment quite pleasant. It's evident that the staff values customer service, and Meagan's assistance contributed positively to my overall impression. In conclusion, this café offers a diverse menu with tasty options, a pleasant environment, and attentive staff. While there was a minor issue with the breakfast order, the swift resolution and excellent service from Meagan left me with a favorable impression. I would recommend this place for a cozy coffee and food experience.

Overall experience I thought was good. The barista is really nice and helpful especially when I accidentally left my credit card in the card reader and she returned it back to me! Anyways the espresso and snickerdoodle cookie was great and priced reasonably for about $8 altogether.

Second time much better than the first. Easy, fast service. Super friendly. Good food. Early open. Edit: changed to 5 stars from 4. Excellent veggie sandwich! Got it on their gluten free roll which was ah-mazing. The roll has a biscuit like texture which was perfect. Served with their breakfast potatoes and a pot of Earl Grey. Simply delicious. So glad I gave this establishment a second chance, I am one happy lass! If you're in the area, stop by, have sit and sip! Edit: 2/17/22 Not sure what's going on with the staff here, the vibe is very lethargic. Normally you'd retort when someone said thank you instead of just walking away. So weird there now. Their prices for a small hot chocolate compared to the size of the cup is ridiculous.

I went to this place to pick up breakfast for the first time and got the veggie sandwich and it was definitely worth it! I also tried the lemon poppy cake which was pretty good too. I’ll definitely be coming back to try their wide selection of vegetarian options

$12 for a ham and cheese croissant sandwich… yikes! It tasted like something I could microwave at home, and the rubbery cold potatoes that came along with it weren’t any better. It wasn’t worth it. It was basically two slices of ham with melted cheese (very little cheese) in between served on a croissant, which wasn’t crisp, just lightly warmed. This places saving grace was the coffee. I had a redeye and it was so good. I’d prob come back for the coffee. Avoid the food, stick with pastries and coffee. Customer service was good, inside is very pleasant and warm.

The interior was very aesthetically pleasing, the drinks we had were nice, and the market salad was pretty good. The main reason I’m giving this a 4 star rating is because the avocado toast was a little bit bland for me. It lacked basic seasoning such as salt and pepper. However, I think it’s a simple fix and would go back for their other items on the menu.

I stopped in to grab a coffee and see what the restaurant had to offer. They have a great coffee menu, a nice ready made to go food such as salads, they have bakery items and an order to cook menu. The employees were friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, the decor was very modern and welcoming and the coffee was just what I needed. I will go back again when I have more time and try out the food. If you are in Lagrange I would stop by and try this place out for a nice breakfast and coffee.

Great atmosphere, light and airy ambience, exceptional customer service and great food - ask me what's not to love about this place, and I'd be at a complete loss. I ordered a blueberry scone and coffee, and enjoyed these in peace, sitting at a corner table on a beautiful day whilst I saw people and families happily walking up and down downtown LaGrange streets. The scone was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was excellent, although I should have stuck to the regular sugar rather than honey because that made it extra sweet. Once done, I ordered the curry cauliflower and the pesto pasta to go. I had ordered the cauliflower for my hubby and the pesto pasta for myself, but when I got home, and got a bite of his curry cauliflower, I was blown away and wanted more! I also took home some energy bites which I did not eat right away but the next day, and they were the perfect balance cream of nutritious and sweet without being cloyingly so. My FAVORITE thing, however, was the lavender latte which I had taken to go and sipped happily and dreamily on, on my way back home. Overall, and EXCELLENT experience, and I'll be frequenting this place, over and over again!

I stopped by BlackBerry market on yesterday and the atmosphere was busy but flowed smoothly. The smell of coffee was invigorating and I got the drip coffee , a chocolate chip cookie, iced peppermint coffee and a raspberry lemon muffin!! Service was smooth and effective, the breakfast items were yummy and fresh!! The coffee of the coffee!! Strong yet tranquil!! Fresh drip is self serve!! Loved that! The iced peppermint coffee was just what I needed !! Let me say this.. after breakfast and coffee.. I came home cooked a full dinner and washed clothing and was done before 1pm! lol energy!!!! Definitely will go back and recommend!!

Excellent place to meet friends and family for espresso and sandwiches. Great atmosphere, food, drink, and service for a reasonable price. The latte art is the best I’ve seen at a price comparable to the coffee chains.

Went there for a quick bite and to try a new place I haven't been before. Surprisingly, food was pretty good , I ordered a chicken avocado sandwich. I wish bread would be toasted for my taste , my daughter though liked it the way it was. My coffee looked very pretty and tasty. I gave 4 stars for just missing something for warmer feelings. After all, nice place, good coffee and tasty food 😊

Delicious! Definitely make a stop here for breakfast or lunch if you’re in the area. My husband and I order the same things over and over (breakfast sandwiches or chicken salad) because they’re so good. We also ordered the holiday meals this year — 10/10 made our Christmas and Thanksgiving much easier!

The taste is ok, but 2 slices of thinly sliced ham does not make a $12 sandwich. If you don't mind over paying for small portions of food, then this place may be just right for you.

Nice atmosphere. Order your food from the counter and someone will bring it to your table. Portions are smaller, but prices are lower. I had scrambled eggs, bacon and white potatoes & Sweet potatoes with toasted french bread.

The vibes here are immaculate. The place is so quaint and chill feeling and the food is amazing. Went halfsies on 2 different sandwiches with a friend and both were delicious. The staff is so friendly and helpful too especially Bri who was so nice and helpful to us throughout our entire visit. 10/10 can't wait to visit again.

Just wanted to say that I purchased individual salads to serve at Easter dinner for my guests and they were a big hit! Everyone loved them! I personally have never had a bad salad at Blackberry Market. I stopped going to Panera and only get my salads from you. Love you guys!

Stopped in with my daughter for a late lunch. We both got the chicken avocado club and I got a lemon blueberry scone for us to share. The sandwiches were pretty basic and lacked seasoning but were still tasty. They also came with a basic salad with vinaigrette dressing, so nothing fancy. The real star was the scone though..it was SO delicious and moist..probably the best scone l've ever had! It was the last one in this flavor or else I would've picked up a few to take home. I also had a regular drip coffee and it was pretty average. They had a little station to pour your own coffee and offered sugar/ stevia and half n half. Wish they would've had an option for plant based milk though (my tummy is definitely punishing me now lol). Lots of food options though! I think next time I'll try a panini - they looked delicious (from what I could see from the person next to me). The place was pretty busy - a few people on laptops/ iPads, working maybe - and tables/booths seem to be full. There's TONS of seating options! A nice little spot to grab a bite and go. One thing that kind of bothered me was the service charge on the receipt. I know other places do this so I'm not really upset it's there, but it would've been nice to have a heads up that you're going to automatically be charged a 3% service charge. I wouldn't have known unless I asked for my receipt which honestly, most people probably don't. I asked a worker about this and they we can ask for it to be removed if we'd like but it pays for their health benefits. I apologize if I missed the sign, but I didn't see anywhere telling me the charge will be there before paying. Just doesn't seem honest IMO.
