Well...they don't empty garbage, or freshen up your bed... you have to ask for fresh towels or they don't replace them...We spent 4 days there and the last day we got our beds made...

Stay away! This property does not come close to what you'd expect from a Marriot. The check-in process was a nightmare. The night person at the desk was very rude. It's a long story, but you'd know what I mean if you ever need to deal with them. Rooms and hallways have a musty smell. Do not believe the pictures!

The room has a balcony and a large TV. Perfect for long time stay. I gave service a 4 because I wasn't able to order at the bar because someone didn't show up to work. Located by plenty of restaurants and shopping. Very pleased with this hotel.

Usually I love Marriott chain hotels. This one has one particular quirk that is aggravating. I appreciate how Marriott has embraced technology to make my stay more comfortable and this includes having Netflix in the rooms that I can log into with my account. For some reason though this location's TV system needs to periodically "restart" to clear memory which logs me out. This happens at least twice every evening over just a few hours of TV time. Other Marriott hotels keep you logged into Netflix for your entire stay and only clear your account when you check out. Call me spoiled, I guess. If I have to come back to the Lombard area I'm going to seek out a different Marriott.

Couldn't even get to check in properly. Woman and manager answering phones did not want to accommodate the early arrival along with hanging up on me because they would not answer my questions. In their words some how the system is apparently not functioning until 3 pm truly we all know that's a lie they just don't want to accommodate going further I refunded my reservation and went to a much friendly establishment and now everyone will read this review and hopefully they are corrected or reprimanded for their insulting behaviour

Okay so they only have 1 bathroom and 1 stall in the lobby of this hotel? Who thought of the design?? Does that make any sense? I asked a housemaid if they had any other bathrooms in the lobby and she looks at me and says one second and keeps walking away. Huh? It’s a simple question that takes 2 seconds to answer. They have a coffee shop inside this hotel but it’s closed on a 4pm on a saturday? Why? And then their elevators are on one end of the hotel and our room was on the completely other side of the hotel. Why not build the elevators in the middle?? Nothing makes sense about this hotel.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. I’m a business traveler, and I usually choose Marriott or Hilton. This courtyard was conveniently located near all highways, plenty of restaurants nearby to have dinner after the workday. It is newly renovated and spotless! The rooms are very spacious, beds/linens are comfortable and the staff is very accommodating. Laura at the front desk and coffee/beverage bar was so polite and friendly! I worked in the lobby pretty much every evening while I was there and specifically heard her handling customer check-ins, maintaining positivity, and accommodating every request. Truly going the extra mile in every aspect! My only critique is that I wish the bar was open each night. It was very hit or miss but I assume it’s based on how many guests are at the hotel each day. Every morning it was open for coffee and breakfast which was great. Quality of the food is good as well. I will definitely stay here again when I’m back in the area.

The location, customer service, and speediness in responding to requests was great! There are lots of restaurants and shopping in the immediate area! We declined housekeeping, but every time we requested something, we received it within a few minutes. Everything else could use some work. The parking lot flooded on my first night and I had to wait until the water receded before I could get in my car. It was so flooded that ducks were wading in it. The building is old, but renovated…but there’s only 1 elevator. My room was on the absolute opposite side of the hotel so it was a long walk. With that said, I decided to take the stairs throughout my entire trip…to include dragging heavy luggage down the stairs upon checkout. The towels and bedding were all dingy. There was a giant spider and cricket in the room. The bistro’s menu looks appealing, but several of the items are pre-made and only heated when ordered. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but the prices should reflect that. I visit this area quite often, but not sure that I would choose this hotel again.

The facilities are clean and well maintained. But the staff made the stay fanatic. Particulary Laura and her team. Her friendly can do attitude is contagious. keep up the great work!

Had a fantastic stay, and they were very accommodating when I said I forgot my ID. The room was perfectly heated, the bed was AMAZING, and they had really good quality soap in the shower (tea tree can you believe it!?). Slept really well and woke up completely refreshed, yet so comfy that I didn't want to get out of bed. 😁

Good gym. Nice pool. Ran out of towels though. Amazing lobby. No microwave in the rooms or exhaust fans in the bathroom. Had to use the lobby's microwave. Hotel 🏨 rooms are 👍. Good board and conference rooms.

I had a phenomenal experience with Xavier. Not only was the rooms clean but my experience with Xavier felt like I was speaking to a regular person. I loved how intuitive and personable he was. I will definitely come again. And he absolutely deserves a promotion!!! I hope he sees this because I appreciate the small conversation we had ♥️

I prepaid for my room in full 2 months ahead of my trip. I checked in on 5/12, with an unqualified hotel clerk, who should have just been giving me a keycard. Instead, I spent 30 minutes at the front desk b/c this hotel clerk ended up cancelling my room and charging me another $234.00, plus an additional +$90 all while I was standing there! I ended up getting that money back from Laura Maloy along with some Bonvoy points. But now, I just checked my account again and see that the hotel charged me an additional $24.64 on 5/17. I spoke with the rude General Manager Nick, who in turn told me I wasnt charged enough taxes for my room (that I prepaid in full in February) on Marriott's site b/c I'm a BonVoy member. Where does any of that make sense? I have my receipt from Marriott with my charges summarized for each night's stay, the taxes and total that I paid. I have submitted my receipt and credit card info showing my full prepayment to their Corporate office, as well as the Illinois Attorney General's Office. Yes, its only $24.64, but its mine and the principle of the matter. I always stay at Marriott establishments whenever I travel..this is one establishment I will NEVER visit again!! If Nick is an indication of what they consider a General Manager..he should be replaced, along with their staff b/c this is highly unacceptable. Bonvoy points do not make up for their inept, rude, inconsiderate theft behavior!

Michelle at front desk was rudest person I have ever dealt with at hotel. I had TV volume up and apologize because I was unaware and she treated me like I was a 2 year kid. I will never have me or my employees ever stay at Marriott location again.

This location was perfect. Incredibly family friendly, but we'd love to come back without the kids too. Front desk staff was amazingly kind and accommodating. Bar staff was knowledgeable and quick. Housekeeping left us an incredibly clean and well put together room for our 1 night stay. If we do visit again, this will be the only place I book.

Staff at this hotel are helpful, professional and attentive to your needs. They make good recommandations for restaurants in the area and activities to do.

For the most part, the stay was okay. The beds weren’t very comfortable, it was too hard for our liking. The shower wasn’t that clean either.

Stayed here on a business trip. Clean, what I would expect from a good hotel. Fitness center was simple but let me get a decent morning work out on the road so no complaints.

Not sure if it's because of Covid-19, but the service has gone down. Been staying here yearly and loved it. Last two stays have been questionable. Not enough towels and scheduled the meeting room for the wrong day.

We were glad we found this hotel ,due to our reservation with another hotel had Flooded and not able to accommodate us ,so we were at the availabilities luck. The room is nice, the bed is great !! The unfortunate part is the design of the hotel is in the shape of U... they only have one ! elevator and a couple of stairways which in which in some cases makes it very inconvenient, To get to either the lobby or your vehicle ,given the location of your room. Nice pool,Lobby has drinks and or food for purchase..Nice quite area...

Hotel is great and staff is terrific, but the wifi service leaves a lot to be desired. Way too slow.

Just checked on to a fabulous Courtyard. Lori at front desk, AWESOME!!!!!!! Great facilities, indoor pool (it's December in Chicago), 24 hour health club, restaurant. Looks brand new. Clean, quiet, everything you need for a relaxing stay. Room, big, bright recently redone. TV is at least 60 inches. Looking forward to great night!!!!!!
