I
prepaid
for
my
room
in
full
2
months
ahead
of
my
trip.
I
checked
in
on
5/12,
with
an
unqualified
hotel
clerk,
who
should
have
just
been
giving
me
a
keycard.
Instead,
I
spent
30
minutes
at
the
front
desk
b/c
this
hotel
clerk
ended
up
cancelling
my
room
and
charging
me
another
$234.00,
plus
an
additional
+$90
all
while
I
was
standing
there!
I
ended
up
getting
that
money
back
from
Laura
Maloy
along
with
some
Bonvoy
points.
But
now,
I
just
checked
my
account
again
and
see
that
the
hotel
charged
me
an
additional
$24.64
on
5/17.
I
spoke
with
the
rude
General
Manager
Nick,
who
in
turn
told
me
I
wasnt
charged
enough
taxes
for
my
room
(that
I
prepaid
in
full
in
February)
on
Marriott's
site
b/c
I'm
a
BonVoy
member.
Where
does
any
of
that
make
sense?
I
have
my
receipt
from
Marriott
with
my
charges
summarized
for
each
night's
stay,
the
taxes
and
total
that
I
paid.
I
have
submitted
my
receipt
and
credit
card
info
showing
my
full
prepayment
to
their
Corporate
office,
as
well
as
the
Illinois
Attorney
General's
Office.
Yes,
its
only
$24.64,
but
its
mine
and
the
principle
of
the
matter.
I
always
stay
at
Marriott
establishments
whenever
I
travel..this
is
one
establishment
I
will
NEVER
visit
again!!
If
Nick
is
an
indication
of
what
they
consider
a
General
Manager..he
should
be
replaced,
along
with
their
staff
b/c
this
is
highly
unacceptable.
Bonvoy
points
do
not
make
up
for
their
inept,
rude,
inconsiderate
theft
behavior!
