My husband and I had been looking for a good martial art school for our son. We enrolled him in WhirlWin Martial Arts and couldn’t be happier with our choice. WhirlWin has a family feel that is very welcoming to both new and existing students. They work to develop the students physically as well as mentally. It hasn't yet been a year since my son started classes there and we have been amazed by the changes we've seen in him. Even in his school the teachers have seen a difference in the way he interacts and behaves. Mr. Marino is absolutely excellent. He is very good with his students and truly cares about them. I highly recommend WhirlWin for anyone looking for a martial art school. It is a great school for the students to learn how to protect themselves, discipline themselves and be respectful and helpful to the others.

A couple of months ago, I enrolled my 5-year-old daughter in WhirlWin for her to become more physically active, learn discipline, and most importantly, be confident. I am delighted that I did enroll her! Every day I see her growth, I see her confidence, and as a mom, I want nothing more than to see her grow and trust herself. Watching the class is always fun and always brings a smile and giggles! Mr. Larkin is attentive and cares about his students, and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm thankful for everything he has done for my daughter.

A few months ago, I paid for a membership for my niece and nephew and they have had the best experience at WhirlWin. They truly love it here and they enjoy the experience so much that they can’t wait to come back for their next class. The instructors are absolutely wonderful and kind! My niece and nephew have learned so much about protecting themselves and how to be kind and respectful. Highly recommend!!!

My 3 siblings attend karate at WhirlWin and it’s amazing to see how far they have come. Mr. Larkin has taught them about respect, confidence and defense in the most wholesome ways possible. I would highly recommend taking your kids here even if you’re looking for an activity to keep them active. I love going to watch the kids learn and my favorite part is when Mr. Larkin involves the audience and teaches the adults a little something too. Overall we have had a wonderful experience and the kids will continue to attend Whirlwin and work towards the black belts!

Great teacher and loves what he does. He has helped my 4yr old become a good listener and be more out spoken when something is wrong, My son enjoys going to class and impressing the class as he takes initiative and practices at home. All in all, highly recommend this class for boys and girls very multi cultural aa well.

My kids truly enjoy the classes. Not only are they learning martial art techniques that will provide them with knowledge, self dense and confidence, they are also having fun while learning. Mr. Jay Larkin is kind and respectful to the students. He makes the students feel important and that they can become leaders.

I’m so glad I enrolled my son here. His confidence since starting as gotten so much better and he gets so excited when he learns/tries something new. Mr. Larkin is a great teacher. He is always encouraging the students to try their best and never give up and is so respectful toward them and all the parents. Thank you so much Mr. Larkin!

Our son has been attending here for about 3-4 months now. He has Apraxia of Speech which makes it difficult for him to pronounce certain consonant sounds and say multiple syllable words. He also has mild cognitive delay which can make it difficult for him to take and understand multiple step directions and instructions. Mr. Larkin has been nothing but patient, kind, and determined with helping Kaedan improve both in his Karate studio and outside of it. It’s reassuring to know that what he teaches Kaedan goes with him home and to school as well. Throughout these few months he’s been there, I’ve seen a big improvement in Kaedan’s focus and discipline. Which we’re looking forward to seeing only getting better as he continues his time there. Additionally, his Occupational Therapist has noticed a big difference in Kaedan’s coordination and strength which was one of the original reasons we sought out various sports for him to try. Kaedan HEAVILY enjoys his time there with his classmates and with Mr. Larkin. There hasn’t been a day yet where Kaedan isn’t smiling ear to ear by the end of class. His confidence in his own abilities is going up and he’s becoming more independent and willing to try more tasks by himself now also which is a GREAT benefit for him. All in all this is an amazing place for a kid to develop, have fun, while also feeling fulfilled in their efforts. Thank you Mr. Larkin.

After conducting exhaustive research to find the ideal martial arts school, we found Mr. Larkin and signed up at Whirl Win. Depending on size, weight, and skill level, Mr. Larkin assigns student to a class that meets twice a week. While following the classic progression of belts from white, yellow, etc to black, he provides students with rewards along the way to recognize their accomplishments. Mr. Larkin is classically trained in karate and also has a psychology degree. He also attended the very same location which has been a martial arts school for over 50 years. Once attending, you can start to sense the development in skill and ability due to his discipline techniques but also how he makes karate fun. I promise your mind, body, and spirit will be transformed.
