I loved my stay here! It’s so beautiful and secluded. Yet still close to the beaches and fun things to do. It really is the best of both worlds! I felt so close to the Lord when coming to Satilla Retreat! The owners are so kind and welcoming as well!! My friends and I are already planning our next trip!!

Satilla Retreat was beyond amazing! So many thoughtful touches throughout the house. Very beautiful, modern but comfortable spaces. We enjoyed the large screened porch and took in a sunset off the dock. Just gorgeous! Christine is a wonderful host! We will be back with more friends!

Absolutely beautiful! So relaxing, truly restoring, and immaculately maintained. The scenery is stunning, the people maintaining the property are so lovely— could not have had a better time! FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!!!

I love Satilla Retreat and it is an outstanding getaway to unplug and relax from busyness of work! It's very beautiful and peaceful here and the Lord revives my soul. This place is close to everything. The Jekyll Islands is a nice tourist beach- less crowded and more quiet. The stay at Satilla is super accommodating, comfortable and professionally clean. The hosts are amazing and kind! I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs a vacation! I'll come back!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Satilla Retreat! The accommodations were amazing for our family. The suite had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed playing with the chickens, roasting marshmallows by the fire, swinging on the beautiful dock and relaxing on the property. Jekyll Island was just a short drive away and perfect for a day trip! AJ and Chris went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. My kids are already asking when we can return!

a DREAM of a property. The perfect place to get away from the hustle bustle of life and just sit in the sunroom or on the pier and listen to the river waves crash. Super clean, cozy, and perfect for travelers. Loved that the bedrooms included places to put your luggage and personal desks/office spaces. Chris and AJ are the such great hosts—available if we needed anything and letting us check out the garden and chickens ❤️ Can’t wait to come back!

Satilla Retreat is it’s own kind of paradise. The minute you drive onto the property it is so peaceful and welcoming! The amenities are amazing and very well maintained. I loved how close we were to so many great beaches. Highly recommended especially for friend/family getaways! Plus, we got to enjoy some fresh produce from their garden - which was delicious!

If you are looking for a place to get away with family and friends, this is the place to go. The Harbor View House is not only beautiful and homey, but very spacious to be able to fit multiple families. Especially with the flexibility of utilizing the Salty Marsh Suite. The kitchen is huge and fully equipped with anything you can think of to make tasty meals while you are there. The grounds are well kept with plenty of activities to do. Plus they have a beautiful boardwalk that leads to the Satilla River. Our boys loved attempting to catch crab and go fishing. The hosts are tremendously hospitable and go out of their way to make sure your stay is all that you hoped it would. If you are even considering staying at the Satilla Retreat, do it! You won’t regret it!
