Nathan was very polite and helpful while we checked in late. First impression is important and he nailed it! We were there for 3 nights with 2 rooms. The front desk name Danielle (I hope I spell correctly) was wonderful! She always smiling and greeting us. In addition, she was helping and giving us suggestion on local attractions. We need additional towers and shampoos; the team immediately supplies those to us. The speed and friendliness are just awesome. The breakfast is great too. With just one person taking care of the breakfast area, she is very efficient and we never short on food. In addition, if the breakfast area is too busy, Gabriel (the manager) will help to smooth the process, what a great team there and everyone seems happy to be working in the hotel. For the money we paid for, this is way exceeding our expectation. Did I mention it is a very clean hotel??

What a hidden gem! I booked a two night stay at the last minute after a horrific experience at a different nearby accommodation. The front desk GM was the friendliest, even asking about my hometown and reason for travel. I was given all details on any Covid accommodations as well as the need to request cleaning if it was desired. Breakfast area was immaculate and well stocked, coffee was out even earlier (4AM!), and hallways were spotless. Felt very safe with the level of security and staff. Hope the pool is open soon! Will be back for sure!

I’ve stayed there almost every month for about a year now, (work) Trust the staff is a nightmare. I guess it starts from the top down the general manager Gabriel literally makes me feel unwelcome and he price gauges every chance he gets. There is a few staff members that make the Experience bearable. On the positive side the beds and pillows are great and parking is always available. Quick tip don’t let them place you in the back left side of the building trust me those rooms are not cool. Also I constantly have to check my bill closely as it’s common to catch mistakes. They don’t respect member rates and be careful you may or may not receive room service. I don’t recommend them not worth the money. I doubt I’ll ever send them my business any longer.

There are several issues with this property: 1. The entrance and exit from property is cumbersome. If you are driving up on Finley, there is no left turn. You have to do all sorts of stunts to get in. The exit is also tricky especially when you are going to Oak Brook shopping Malls. 2. There is no forewarning or information provided about their housekeeping rules. The following events unfolded on us: (a) We arrived on Monday May 16. The next day we put the door handle tag to do up our room (why they provided it I don't understand as you will find out after you read my blog!) (b) When we returned to our room in the evening on Tuesday, nothing was done. I went to the front desk and the lady informed me that the tag does not help and we should have informed the front desk! How would have known this you wonder? She was kind enough to give us towels and toiletries as we had used them up. 3. So on Wednesday morning we informed the front desk and requested them to have our room done. We were informed that due to COVID they don't do their rooms up unless you are staying for 1 week. However, they would empty the garbage, provide clean towels and stock up the toiletries. When we returned in the evening and lo and behold, nothing was done! 4. At check out the next day we informed the same lady about the room. She, without blinking an eyelid told us it was housekeeping's fault! And that's it. Another interesting fact is there was food dropped outside room #315 since Tuesday, and despite seeing housekeeping on the our floor (3rd), that spill remained untouched until we left!!! By the way there is no senior management on site to escalate any issues. I would definitely not stay at this location again especially given the amount they charge for a night.

The price was great, but we did have several bugs that we found in the room. The staff didn't seem concerned when we told them. The fact that we seriously considered sleeping in the cramped car instead of our room is deeply disappointing, especially after driving across the country. But on a budget, it was a nice enough hotel.

The hotel is located near restaurants and shops, which is very convenient. The workers were polite and pleasant. The room is clean and has everything you need for a stay. Only those who live in the hotel can enter the pool. I recommend.

Danielle at the desk is so wonderful. And all the other staff that work there from front desk and maintenance to housekeeping are friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to make sure that you are welcomed and comfortable and have everything you need for a perfect stay. I truly felt like I was staying with family then at a hotel. The breakfast is always amazing and well stocked. Rooms are clean. And the little extras like nightly hot chocolates made my kids visit!! And the out door pool is perfect, weather permitting of course.

Room was nice and clean. Check in staff was okay. Vending machine not working. Nice breakfast. One small entry door to hotel. Driving into the parking lot was a little awkward. Would consider again. Decent but not great.

The staff is hit or miss some people are wonderful like the night guy. But some of them are down right awful. The vending machines don’t work. There was a big tear in my comforter. The air conditioning in the room didn’t work. And the confirmation email says checkout is 12. But the staff feels you should only be welcome until 11. When I tried to bring this to the attention of the staff I was yelled at in the middle of the lobby by anesele. She’s is by far the most unprofessional person I have come across in 10 years of owning a business and having to travel all over. When she gave me a card with the managers phone number it just went to the fro t desk where she yelled at me again and told me she has printed out my picture to show the manager. Originally when I brought these issue to her attention she said it’s not her problem but now she wants to print out my picture and show it to the manager.

I can’t complain too much as this is a budget hotel. However, I must point out that the rooms are mediocre and crammed. I also had concerns regarding cleanliness of the room there was no daily or bi-daily room cleaning service. I had to request towels from the front desk daily and one night they were even out so I had to wait until the following morning. The staff was very friendly and they had good customer service so no complaints there.

Rooms are okay and clean. The service has been great and I’ve stayed there a few times now. Overall it’s in a good location that is relatively close to good restaurants and right on the highway. Just don’t stay on the 1st floor. That’s where they keep the guests with dogs and you will be in for a long night if you have a bunch of barking dogs next door.

I’m going to go with overall 5 stars because the overall stay was fantastic. Staff at front desk were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was modern and comfortable. There was a slight smoky smell in the room but nothing terribly offensive or that gave me the feeling I needed to switch rooms. I’m usually hesitant to stay places that appear to be a “really good deal,” but this one met all of my expectations. Location is in a busy area and there are a lot of places locally to get to for shopping or food. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend walking because it’s on a very busy road. There was one entrance on a quieter street but you had to make a u-turn. Outdoor pool area was quiet and very nice. Water was chilly but clean and swimable. Overall l great stay. Very appreciated!

We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the highway and low cost. The pros are definitely the location and close proximity to shopping and restaurants by car. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was decent and changed daily. The cons include a strong cleaning chemical smell in the room and at the front desk area. The smell of the cleaning chemical in the room was a bit nauseating and almost as if it was trying to hide something in the room. Our room card kept resetting every night when we returned to the hotel after a certain period. We were advised to keep the key card separate from our mobile phones as this would cause it to deactivate, and although we kept it separate, the access to the room kept deactivating every day. The rooms are a bit dated, however, the king size bed was very comfortable and the warm was kept at a very good temperature without having to adjust it ourselves.

I had been using them for work every month since November I always had trouble getting my deposits back I was then given incorporate of $67 a night so I decided to continue using them. My last visit was a nightmare I could not book online I called to book they said their system was down I called the day of they told me I had a room. When I arrived they didn’t even have my reservation at all. The lady checking me gave me attitude. I was completely embarrassed in front of my guest on top of that they did not want to honor my corporate rate. Gabriel Jauridez The general Manager should be fired he responded back to my negative review. Brushed me off the phone then hung up saying he would call me back, never did. Never got my rewards their customer service is horrible! Gabriel should be fired. Ufffff Ok I feel better already.

Bed and shower were fine. The halls reeked of weed. I was afraid the smell would follow me to work. The elevator was broken, but not for the group bringing up a ton of luggage. Be sure to get downstairs before 10 am for breakfast.

If you want a good night's sleep this is Not the place! 2 out of 3 mornings awaken at 7:15 with a large garbage truck picking up dumpsters right outside my window. A window that was stuck open. A room that has a smell of some chemical trying to kill another smell. A ice machine in the hall leaking water so badly your shoes get wet from the floating carpet. As well as the typical inconsiderate other guests (or residents) that love to play loud music untill 12:18 in the morning. All this mixed in with a room heater that sounds like a small airplane running in the room. Oh and now vacuuming the room next door at 7:40am. This not the place for sleep so don't bother.

Love the place! Stayed there many time and will continue to do so. The front desk staff and housekeeper workers are fabulous. I would've given the place 5 stars across the board, but during my last stay, someone was obviously smoking pot and the hallways reeked! The bigger issue was the resturant next doors valet service takes up all the parking spots around the hotel even though there's a huge lot out back. The weather was cold and raining (hey, it's around Chicago), and the walk to the hotel sucked!

I think they are doing good business but a few things did not work well for me. First, at the front desk, I was given wrong paperwork to sign. It was of a reward member. When I mentioned it is not me, the front desk lady not only took the paperwork away, she also pulled back two water bottles as those were for the reward members only. The rooms were not crisp and the beds too soft with extensive use. TV did not work for two days and the plugs were very sticky.

I was very skeptical about this hotel based on price. After reading multiple great reviews I booked a room for one night, as we were just passing by. It turned out to be a great stay. The hotel met all our expectations - it’s definitely not the Ritz, but the room was clean, bathroom was in good working order, front desk staff was very friendly, hot breakfast was included and it was good - waffle maker, scrambled eggs, sausage, and delicious bacon. Would definitely use it again for a short stay. Solid 4 stars!

This hotel is perfectly situated. Everything you need is within a 5 min drive. I wasn't going Downtown this time so I didn't need a hotel down there. All your shopping, restaurants and other stuff you might want to do is all close by. The hotel is clean and the staff are great. Only complaint is that our bed was a little on the hard side which left me with soreness in the morning. Breakfast was ok also, I've had better breakfasts but I've also had worse or none. All in all, good Hotel.

I travel to Downers Grove regularly for work. I bounced around different hotels trying to find what worked best for me each trip. Until I landed at Best Western. Love this hotel. Nothing over the top of glamorous but perfect for us. Great breakfast served into later hours than any other hotel I've stayed at, latest checkout I've ever had, and extremely convenient location. There's stores, restaurants, everything all within a short walk or drive. I'll never stay anywhere else when I come to town.

The room was spacious, clean and fairly new. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Does have limited parking so that made it challenging when arrived after 7pm.

Overall a good stay for four days. I knocked a star off because I had to request housekeeping. The previous day they didn't do it even when the tag was on the door. The second star was knocked off due to staff smoking at the one of the entrance door.

Unfortunately, our experience her was sub-par. Our room had a strong odor of microwaved Chinese food that didn't go away for the 4 days we stayed here. Windows open and fans going didn't change anything. Key cards are disabled when they come in contact with your cell phone. Toilet was running/refilling about twice an hour do to a poor seal. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Had this Location saved as a Favorite for the Customer Service and for The Outdoor Seating areas but it seems Both have Declined since our last stay. As a Diamond Member, I was not Greeted as Such nor offered our Complimentary Gift (water). As Long Haul Truck Drivers we spend ALOT of time confined to our Rig So Outdoor Seating is Important to us and as Frequent Visitors to BW So is Customer Service. Since the pool is closed for the Season they removed the Outdoor seating from that area and thee Only Remaining outdoor seating area is Badly In Need of Landscaping and Grooming as well as additional seating. Gonna have to Remove this location from my favorites

I just checked in, but for real Patricia (lady at the front desk with a cool dash of purple in her bangs) was great to me and my coworker after a long day of travelling. She was helpful and kind, and made checking in super friendly and quick. Seriously Patricia knows what's up and I hope she sees this and gets a rad bonus or something legit like that.

I usually don't sleep well in hotels, but for some reason, I fell asleep in this hotel, and the room was great too. It's a highly complex entrance to the hotel and exit too. The parking lot is full of cars and tracks. Please remodel it and make it accessible

The staff was very helpful to me and my family traveling from Detroit! The rooms were very well kept and clean. The pool was cleaned daily for the use of the guests. I would definitely book here again! Thank you guys for the great experience!!!

breakfast was a hot and cold breakfast but only had bacon one day I was there. was there for 5 days. I don't like the fake sausage and eggs they serve you. our ac unit in the room smelt of mold. after we would leave the room and come back our room smelt moldy. their was visibility mold in the bathroom and water damage on the ceiling. out blanket on our bed was also ripped.

This was the most accommodating hotel we’ve been there. We booked this hotel for our guests for our brothers wedding and they accommodated everyone with a smooth check in and check out. They had an amazing breakfast and even gave us a conference room to take our breakfast into. Honestly they made the wedding experience even better with the stay with them.

Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. I loved the strawberry waffles!! Wi-fi speed is great. Hotel is close to tons of stuff to do and great restaurants whether you want fast food or looking for a good place to sit and eat. Walls are a little thin, could hear the people in the next room, but just turned my volume up a little. The noise was not distracting just noticeable. Great place to stay. Will definitely go back. The pool is outdoors and seasonal.

Okay to stay if one is visiting Chicago and do not want to spend a lot ! Room is not big but serves purpose , have microwave, mini fridge , coffee is available near reception , also available in room. Breakfast was neat! Wifi speed is decent. Liked the canvas paintings throughout the hotel 🙂

For what a best western is supposed to be, it was an underwhelming stay. We went out of our way to stay somewhere dog friendly and morecomfortable, and even a little pricier because we just wanted to be more comfortable. First we were told to use the door at the back of the building to get in, that one was out of service, fine ok. Double back to the front just so we know we get in after being on the road for 10 whatever hours. Drink vending machines out of service. The front desk was charging more for their front desk water. Our comforter had a huge hole in it?! Then when we were getting our stuff ready to check out and we had housekeeping knocking saying out checkout was 11. Despite him showing an email confirmation that it was 12, My husband was berated by the front desk staff saying that we had to talk to the manager and when he was given the number it only went back to the sake person who berated him. We have never been treated in such a way, especially with showing this "proof". Even if we didn't get that noon confirmation, that was uncalled for and unprofessional with a full lobby of other people wanting to stay.
