We had the most amazing server , Alex, and the food is amazing !! We don’t have enough good things to say about this place. We were there for our anniversary and we’re even treated to a dessert. We will be back!!

Place has a good vibe. Always good food, great service, we sat at the bar. Pizza with pepperoni and banana peppers was 👌 Also love the vodka sauce pasta. Tried the sugar snap peas and ricotta as an appetizer- kind of a strange combo, not sure about it, but it didn't taste awful.

First time diners to a Gia Mia. Was pleasantly surprised by their Monday night 1/2 price pizzas! Both were delicious. The Hammer was our favorite with a nice crispy crust. The Barrata pizza was flavorful but the crust was incredibly soggy. That was unfortunate. Tasty glass of Echo Bay Sauvignon blanc. A little light on the pour, but hey🤷 Very comfortable setting and enjoyable with friends or family groups.

Absolutely LOVE this place. It was my first time visiting and I had a really great experience. The service, food, and drinks were amazing. It was me and my honey's first time here. Our server went over the menu, explaining new and popular items. Honestly we ordered everything she suggested. I'm a whiskey woman and tried the Blood Orange Smash which was really amazing. The food was top tier. I'm not a fan of Gnocci but seen someone's amazing plate and tried their Been and Short Rib Gnocci. It was so amazing. Definitely recommend. We'll be back soon.

We had a great time at Gia Mia! Our cocktails was personalize and it it was very tasty. It was a perfect time to eat, drink & share. We met some new friends and the personal was so warm and nice in every moment

Pizza was delicious. The pear and caramelized onion pizza was amazing. The burrata pie was also delicious. If you want pizza in the area def check this place out. Inside was very bright, loud and cold, but I would grab pizza to go.

Great service and atmosphere. The ricotta and honey comb was amazing, the watermelon + feta salad was different (kind of bland, but good), the pear + caramelized onion pizza and stinger pizza - both delicious! Can’t wait to come back and try more!

4/23/23 The service was Nice and quick. The vibe is relaxed and casual. There are many menu options to choose from. Everything I tried, I liked. The food is nicely plated and delicious. The polenta was creamy and wonderful. The pizza was fabulous. That spiced pear coctail was definetly the higlight!

Perfect place to go to if you’re craving pizza! We got the Farro beet salad which was a great way to start then had the mushroom and Buratta pizza!

Il we have enjoyed this restaurant for many years. The pizzas are fresh,festive and very tasty. The pasta dishes are really amazing. I love the white bean kale soup (but it’s not on the summer menu). It is one of the best soups in any restaurant. The wine list is very diverse and should satisfy anyone.

Service was excellent. Food was really good. We tried few small plates like oysters, mashroom toast, potatoes and all were mouth watering. We also had cauliflower which was good too but not awesome. I totally recommend this place. Cheesecake at the end was delicious.

Love the vibe. Great service. Good drinks. Food needs work. Their starters are great, their main courses and pizza are just mediocre . Their portions are also very very small for the price. I really want to love This place hence why we keep going back. Just hoping their chef improves!

Best place to hang out on a Monday! They have 50% off pizzas every Monday, we’ve been here a couple of times and it never disappoints, they use high quality ingredients and you can tell that from the first bite! I recommend getting the mushroom pizza and the stinger, when the check comes you’ll be amazed at how good you just ate for half of the price!

Really solid Old fashioned, fab small dishes. I love the cauliflower, the wood-fired pizza, the salmon salad.

Pizza was delicious but could have been more baked since I prefer a slight crisp to my crust. This crust seemed too soft. The apps were meh, but overall a good experience. Our poor server was the only one handling all of the outside tables, so he was late in getting our stuff.... But that's understandable. They should have gotten some of the other staff to help out too.

Everything was spectacular! We turned up for dinner during Heritage Fest, and were able to get a table, get seated, served, and on our way in relatively short order. Staff was friendly and helpful, and food was amazing!

We discovered Gia Mia last month and returned tonight as we were on the area for an event, bringing along some more newcomers. The food was Excellent, just as we found the first time. The service is fast, and the servers were great. The pizzas are amazing, but the pasta dishes, risotto, and beef medallions did Not disappoint! Delicious! Will be back!

Very trendy pizza restaurant. Went on a Wednesday for the 1/2 off wine special. Ended up getting 2 to 3 bottles. The mushroom pizza was very tasty.

First visit… so good! Margherita Pizza was delicious and affordable! I will be coming back to this one when I return to Downtown Downers Grove!
