😠 Absolutely do not trust the ratings of this place! It was the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at in Ho Chi Minh City. The chicken was so dry it was inedible, the fish was very fishy like it was dead, and the other traditional snacks must have been frozen food. It only looks good, the ingredients... The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes ranging from seafood to local and western options. What we ordered mainly consisted of local staples like beef pho and spring rolls, which were decent to below average in taste. The service and atmosphere were good.

Don’t be fooled by this place thinking they have a good food here. The food is so average. My shrimp rolls were awful, the rice paper was very dry, I couldn’t eat it. Chicken Pho soup - hard chicken, tasteless soup flavour. Smoothies - you can taste sugar only - I couldn’t taste the passion fruit flavour whatsoever. The noise outside is terrible and so loud and you’re constantly being interrupted by people who wants to sell you something. It looks nice from the outside, but that’s it! Also, I think the reason why they have such a good reviews is - they give a dessert for free if you write a review in front of them. Unbelievable!

It was our first time eating at this establishment and we enjoyed eating there. The food is excellent especially baby lobsters. They serve a variety of food to choose from. The price however, is over our budget. The drinks I loved were yolk coffee. The establishment interior is vibrant with colours and clean. Unfortunately, due to the open kitchen concept, the establishment does not have an indoor air conditioner. Furthermore, toilets are on the first floor. The music from the pub outside is too loud for table conversation. Otherwise, I would love to come back soon.

I recently tried the seafood fried rice at this restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The combination of perfectly cooked rice, fresh seafood, and flavorful seasonings created a harmonious and satisfying dish. What truly stood out, though, was their Vietnamese milk coffee. Rich and aromatic, it complemented the savory notes of the fried rice perfectly, making the meal a memorable culinary journey. I highly recommend this pairing for anyone looking to indulge in a delicious and well-balanced dining experience.

Great food. Super friendly and helpful staff. The range of food options is mind blowing. I’ll be back to try something else tomorrow. Definitely a place to stop for great Vietnamese food especially if you’re a seafood lover.

ỐC ĐẠI VIỆT Seafood restaurant right in the center of Bui Vien. The restaurant space is extremely airy with an open design. The food is very fresh and cheap. Staff are friendly and enthusiastic. you should come here and enjoy.

Our first time coming to Vietnam and this restaurant is our first place to eat and amazingly the foods are fantastic, in the other hand you will be surprised by the service. The staffs are so helpful!!!! We even offered by the manager to store our bags here while strolling around because they are open 24 hours, our phones are also low battery and the staff help us to charge. Couldn't thank you more. And to appreciate I would like to say thank you to Xuan.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this place open on Christmas. The food was good but we particularly loved how flavorful the razor clams were. The portions are also reasonable. The prices are a bit on the expensive side though in comparison to other restaurants.

I enjoyed their menu local food. I really tried to eat all these. It was amazing thing someone can do. Must try Vietnam food and experience their hospitality too. From Philippines with love

Food was very quick and tasty. It was my second time here in less than a week of landing in Ho Chi Minh. My favorite was the pan fried garlic snails, pan fried lobster with garlic and butter. The soup with mushrooms was also very good. Would definedly recommend coming here and will come back again.

The atmosphere was hectic being right next to a junction where a lot was going on with the traffic and pedestrians walking by. But that’s why we were there, to have the typical Vietnamese dining experience. The staff could understand very little English so use simple words, google translate or point to the item you want on their extensive menu (you might need a while to go through them as there are pages and pages of items on the huge menu). We ordered the beef fried rice and chicken cashew nuts. The fried rice was not edible as it was too overcooked/hardened, like they gave us very old rice with rice crust. The rice was chewy crispy (I don’t know how to explain it) and it wasn’t good at all. So we informed the staff and a supervisor came and had it replaced with another new fried rice which was what we expected. The new fried rice was served and the rice was fluffy and tasty…what a fried rice is supposed to be. The chicken cashew nuts was good. I know I shouldn’t compare but the Thai chicken cashew nuts tastes better. This version felt flat. Still taste alright though. The restaurant gives away a dessert for every review if you do it in front of them, which I didn’t so didn’t get any free dessert 😂

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re in the mood for exceptional Vietnamese seafood, look no further. This gem offers a sublime dining experience that beautifully marries the freshness of the ocean with the vibrant flavors of Vietnamese cuisine. From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere set the tone for the evening. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal.

The food is to die for, the staff is friendly and will gladly recommend you some of their best dishes. I had the lobster cooked two ways, some oysters, sea urchin, scallops and the pineapple shrimp rice. The only thing is I wish my stomach was as big as my eyes. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back another time
