This is hands down the best Cajun restaurant in Lubbock! To this day, we have never had a bad meal! These guys really know how to cook up some good food! The food was amazing! The sweat tea was perfect. Honestly, I couldn't ask for a better meal. Cajun food is amazing when it's done right, and this place does it very well! The stuffed catfish I had smothered in crayfish Etoufee and man was it good. The stuff zucchini was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The stuff was so good we had to mop it up with a little bread! The gumbo is perfect! Great flavor, perfectly seasoned, and you get a little of everything in it. The crayfish etoufee outstanding! You know, being so far away from Louisiana, I didn't think we would find Cajun this good in Lubbock, but I'm glad we did! I would highly recommend coming here and eating!

If I could give this location a 0 stars I would. I would consider the star to be given to Favors the delivery service. According to the pictures on their website they offered beignets. Me and my husband ordered them but when they arrived via delivery, they were actually shaped like hush puppies. I called and spoke to the manager and she was very rude and stated that she looked at them and they were approved and nothing wrong with them. I explained my concern and she continued with the nonchalant attitude. I expressed that I wanted a refund and she said that she couldn't because we order through a third party. I expressed that something needed to be done because what we received was terrible. She offered a gift card but when I asked for her name she hung up. I called back and asked for the managers name and her managers name. The manger that I spoke to was Dominique Barnes and her manager is Tracy Brown. I will not recommend this location.

Really disappointed ☹️. We had the rice and beans, popcorn shrimp, catfish bites and blackened chicken Alfredo. The fettuccine and catfish bites were edible, but EVERYTHING lacked flavor! The shrimp looked really great but tasted like fried flour. The red beans and rice were trash.. I've been here once before and had a different experience but this was years ago. Won't be back

Stopped in here for a late lunch after work and before heading home. Menu’s we’re somewhat well used, otherwise things were not bad. Their stuffed mushroom appetizer was VERY yummy. My wife had the Chicken a la mer that was delicious and I had the garlic seafood pasta, I was a little disappointed that I had to play hunt the seafood in amongst all the pasta, but it was tasty non the less. Props to our server who was in the restaurant by her self and was super busy, but still managed to provide good service.

My husband brought me here for dinner. Our waitress was amazing and more than attentive to us. The food was way more than what we expected and so delicious!!!! You could tell all the food was fresh and the cook did an amazing job!!!! This is for sure our new favorite place and we will for sure be back!!!!

Really neat place! I had the Shrimp Cajun Stir-Fry, an order of Oysters and some Beignets to end the meal with. All very delicious! I've honestly never tasted anything like it. The atmosphere was like that of any bar, however, it's the taste of the food that really sets it apart. The employees all had on masks and our server was extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend. 🤙🤙

The waitress was good but it took almost an hour to get 3 plates of food with only 6 tables with people in the whole restaurant. We got our Togo order in less time then it took us to get our dine in meal. The table behind us had there whole meal except one plate and the rest of the table was finished by the time the last plate got brought out. It will be a long while if at all before we go back into Jazz. Very disappointed

Great food ! Our server Lexy(or Lexi) was swamped but still took care of us! I had Blackened fettuccine and it was very good! Not the best for folks in a rush when its busy, but if you have the time, its worth it! 👌

$17.99 per pound for this horrible cheap frozen crawfish in crawfish season. 🙌 I ordered 5lbs but almost all trash :) The other food was cold and long wait. Popcorn crawfish nearly all shrimp and flour not crawfish. Couldn't taste the oysters. 0 star ⭐️ if I could

Lexie B was the best server I have ever had. Me and my best friend never once went without being checked on, having our drinks filled, checking on us, and making us feel like we were getting the best treatment. I have never done a review on anything, but after this service I couldn’t leave without letting somebody know how awesome she was. Not only was she personable but she was also extremely attentive, outgoing, and kept a smile on my face the whole time. If you’re ever here, request Lexie. B and she will make you feel at home.

Unique shop. Complicated menu. I ordered the blackened chicken a la mer. The sauce was divine. The chicken however was difficult to eat due to the blackened seasoning. It wasn’t and didn’t taste burnt but it was in that realm. Someone else mentioned charcoal or carbon and I would agree. I had to drown it in the sauce, which again was divine. Next time I will go with a grilled chicken. It’s worth trying again absolutely. Just ask for a recommendation. Kelsey the bartender was very kind and loves what she does and where she works.

The servers were fantastic but the food was not. My sister and I used to come here with our mother and the food was amazing. This time I can only brag about the service which was excellent. I had the same thing I've always ordered but this time it was bland and had no flavor. Im allergic to seafood so I ordered chicken fettuccine and it was bland and something I could have ordered anywhere. 50 dollars for lunch that you can't enjoy just kind of stinks. My sister's chicken Marsalis she said was good so at least hers was satisfactory. You need to check on this recipe to see why there was no flavor so other patrons are not disappointed

The atmosphere was interesting, but not my style. I did like the dollar bills, but when you look closely, there are some obscene images and messages on a few, which downgrades the idea. The food was not the best. I ordered the seafood platter with a side of rice and I don’t think the rice was even salted, the food was just glazed with oil and wasn’t crispy, and it wasn’t good. The service was good, the girl that helped me was super sweet and I loved her sweet voice. Overall, it was an average experience.

First time here and it was awesome our waitress Kiara was great!! Will return..thank you for waiting on us and giving us our refills when you did. We didn't have to wait long!! Smile ☺️

I’ve ate here so much and their flavors never lack! I get the blackened shrimp fettuccine or shrimp fettuccine almost every time. All their food is so good and authentic

We came on a Monday night and was seated right away. There was a steady crowd, but no wait. The service was good. The food came out with only a short wait, and prepared fresh. The margaritas were just okay. The decor was unique.

Went there the other day for a quick lunch. Customer service was great. The food was horrible. For $19 a plate with crab as the main part of the dish it was imitation. It wasn’t seasoned at all. From the shrimp to the imitation crab. The noodles were undercooked with a crunch. The pasta was more so a soup. Great atmosphere, the food was definitely not NOLA.

Delicious, hot and freshly made Cajun cuisine!! Limited seating, so go early. Definitely returning!!

This place is really great. I've only had one dish, the seafood fettuccine, I requested them to make it a little spicy, delish! The waitress we had was funny, cheerful & helpful. The bartender makes a mean spicy bloody mary, Yum!! My only complaints are the flies, too many flies for an indoor restaurant. I wish the complimentary bread was warm/toasted instead of just cut up, cold bread pieces. I'll be back! Second time there, I ordered the chicken a la mer. Chicken was good, LOTS of veggies with this dish. It was good, but not great. Same complaints as before: cold bread and having to keep flies off food. I think I'm done going there.

Haven’t been here in a while, so this is based off 2015-18. Came here very often my freshman/sophomore year in college. It was such a fun place to go and get some good seafood. Food was always fresh, lots of flavor, staff was always super down to earth. Maybe will visit soon and hope it’s as amazing as it was then.
