Beyond the gate, on the right spreads the Rose Garden; then, further on, there is a Cactus Garden, and two greenhouses (these were closed when we visited). Off to the left, just under the Metro Line overhead, there are flowerpots and flowerbeds, flowering trees and bushes (we visited in late March, so the colours of spring were in evidence). Beyond this lies the bulk of the botanical gardens: large sections of Economic Trees; Fruit Trees; a Lotus Pond (dry when we visited) and a small garden of herbs used in Ayurveda. The place seems very neglected. There were straggling and overgrown plants and grass everywhere (especially unsightly in the 'garden' area), the spring flowers were half wilted and dead, and on most trees the signs with the tree names had either fallen off or got broken or faded. Despite that, though, this was an enjoyable place for our family, since all of us love trees and nature. Besides all the fascinating trees in the Economic Trees garden, we appreciated the many birds and insects we saw. Worth visiting if you are interested in trees, in particular. Wear thick trousers or jeans and sturdy walking shoes, and carry drinking water. No entry fee is charged.

Central Park of Noida! There’s no ticket to enter as of today, just need to sign at the register on the entrance. Management definitely need to work on building/ maintaining a functional bathroom for visitors. Great place to learn about different plant species. This place must be preserved for it’s greenery and as a place for birds to live in the wild.

Quite big park. Free entry, near metro station of same name. Tried to visit again on 25th February 2022. The guards did not allow a 500 ml water bottle. He asked to dispose it off. As it is getting sunny, it was not possible to throw the water bottle. Please be advised accordingly if you plan to visit. Visited again on 4th January, 2023. I was mistakenly expecting winter flowers.

Beautiful place for nature lovers. Well maintained garden. Sign boards every where to guide you in various locations of your interest. You find Flowers, herbs, medicinal plants, also a museum. The medicinal plants section is well divided and marked for various diseases.Ideally located Close to Botanical Garden metro rail station and Botanical Garden bus station.

A botanical garden or botanic garden is a garden dedicated to the collection, cultivation, preservation and display of a wide range of plants labelled with their botanical names. It may contain specialist plant collections such as cacti and other succulent plants, herb gardens, plants from particular parts of the world, and so on; there may be greenhouses, shadehouses, again with special collections such as tropical plants, alpine plants, or other exotic plants. Visitor services at a botanical garden might include tours, educational displays, art exhibitions, book rooms, open-air theatrical and musical performances, and other entertainment. Orto botanico di Pisa operated by the University of Pisa: The first university botanic garden in Europe, established in 1544 under botanist Luca Ghini, it was relocated in 1563 and again in 1591 Botanical gardens are often run by universities or other scientific research organizations, and often have associated herbaria and research programmes in plant taxonomy or some other aspect of botanical science. In principle, their role is to maintain documented collections of living plants for the purposes of scientific research, conservation, display, and education, although this will depend on the resources available and the special interests pursued at each particular garden. The origin of modern botanical gardens is generally traced to the appointment of professors of botany to the medical faculties of universities in 16th century Renaissance Italy, which also entailed the curation of a medicinal garden. However, the objectives, content, and audience of today's botanic gardens more closely resembles that of the grandiose gardens of antiquity and the educational garden of Theophrastus in the Lyceum of ancient Athens.

Located next to the Botanical Garden metro station, this garden is spread over many acres with lush greenery and a wide variety of native flora in the region. If you are a nature lover, you will definitely love the peace out there; it is, I must say, a nice place to spend your evening. This can be a perfect picnic spot for families, but in the winter, keeping cleanliness in mind, it would be nice to carry your own garbage bag. Summers would be a bit harsh to explore the gardens. You will find several signs to guide you about the gardens designated for specific varieties. The medicinal plant section is well divided and marked for various diseases. Considering the beauty of the gardens, this place is quite underestimated, and I strongly suggest it should be on your to-be-explored list if you are in Noida. The gardens are well maintained, and the staff is cooperative too. I would say that with the support of the government, this garden will definitely attain its objective of securing plant diversity for the well-being of people and the planet. It’s a huge space, and the government should look into this in order to make it a successful project. There is no entry fee. Opens from Monday to Friday.

Ambience is good. Table service, prices are fine. No need to buy bottle of water. The tine you sit there they serve you first with a glass of water which I'll appreciate. Polite staff. Pav bhaji was good, in rava plain dosa sambar and coconut cutney can be better. Raj bhog (rasgulla) was good. I'll recommend to try chaat there.

Botanical Garden The Botanical Garden in Noida is a vast expanse of lush green garden packed with a plethora of most exclusive plants in the country. The garden perfectly epitomises Mother Nature in its best form with the serene surroundings and rare species of plants and flowers. The best way to enjoy the beauty of Botanical Garden is by spending some quality time with family here. The natural beauty of this place makes it the perfect place for a quaint picnic away from the din of the day. A ‘Cactus House’ here is a small greenhouse that has a variety of cactus where you can learn more about the various types of common cacti found in the country. Botanical Garden is also a good place to get some exercise in the morning or evenings.

This botanical garden is very young and its majority is just a tree set. There is a lovely palm alley and the health care sector with many herbs and other plants which may recover you. It will last a few years to grow it all that is planted, but even nowadays, it is a nice venue where you can spend an afternoon with your family or friends. Just at the border of this garden, near the main entrance, there is botanical garden metro station of blue and magenta line. It's open from Monday till Friday. During a weekends is closed.
