Excellent filter kappi, a south indian thali with rasam to die for and very cool decor at zambar, the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and helps you with the selection very well. If you’re craving some authentic south indian comfort food, this place is a must visit!

Pleasant ambiance. Good service and tasty food , you can find authentic south Indian flavours here. They have variety in non veg also. Sea food is also available here like crabs. This review is only for veg food which we ordered- mysore dosa was spicy, panner masala uttapam was good, rawa masala dosa was also good. Also the they have zambar special rice it was biryani served with raita and was also good in taste.

Ordered Ghee Roast Fish Curry with appam & it was so delicious that it reminded me of Goan food. Must try for seafood lovers.

Terrific south indian food! Especially their thali and dosa. Moreover if you are non veg fanatic as me then do have Prawn koliwada and Mutton sukka! Have a lemon soda or enjoy on butter milk alongside. Dont forget to have the jaggery payasam as dessert or mysore pak! For blissful end, have a filter coffee!

Food taste and Hygiene Level: The served food was hot, fresh with accurate spice level. I had rice idli and appam with sambar. The hygiene level of food met expectations. Food plating: Good efforts seen in plating food. Staff : Helpful and Polite Staff Cleanliness Level : Well kept with great cleanliness and well organised seating arrangement. Affordability: Ranges from medium to high dish pricing. Liquor is also available. Slant area is available for wheelchair movement.

Good ambience, variety of food available in both veg and non veg options. Dosas are very huge in size so if you're a light eater then order accordingly. But they are delicious. Service was quick. Good place to visit with friends and family.

Tried gunpowder prawns in starter and it was excellent. We had Alleppey fish curry with appams and Malabar parathas In the main course. Appams were good. Alleppey fish curry was little tangy as it should have been, however didn’t get much flavour of coconut milk. We didn’t like the flaky Malabar parathas and found those little hard. The place has nice setting with soothing decor.

The place is located in Ambience mall and serves excellent south indian food. I loved the chutney they serve, the sambhar is average though. The vadas were crispy and freshly made, unlike many other places which serve soggy vadas. My nephew had mutton and was happy with the taste and quality. Their portions are definitely larger, so the place becomes value for money even though the rates are on the higher side (it's Ambience mall, so that is kinda expected). Coming to the service and ambience -- the service is very good, and prompt. The food arrived in less than 15 mins and was sizzling hot. The preparation looked fresh. The ambience is definitely very nice -- this is a kind of place which you can bring your family to for a dinner or lunch, and no one will be disappointed for sure.

This is a nice place to go with family. I went there on my birthday lunch. We had idli, masala dosa and appam. Everything was tasty. Appam and idli were very fluffy. I really liked the three different chutneys they served. I am a big time idli dosa fan and enjoyed my meal here.

#dining #southindian #gurgaon #dosa #idli 💰Price - Rs 500-700 per person (without drinks) 🍱Food - Authentic South Indian food. You get the South Indian feel in every bite of food. We ordered Cheese onion dosa, masala paneer dosa, paneer uttapam- and all of them were amazing 🤩. The sides were Infact tastier than the main course 😉. Loved the coconut chutney 🥥. Probably the best I have ever had. 👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳Service - that’s a mix reaction. The service was slow (but that could be because I visited on a Saturday evening, so prime time problems). But otherwise they were courteous and responsive. Especially the ones with black uniform. My wife accidentally spilled apne chutney and one of them rushed to clean the mess, also have wet tissues etc. really liked the gesture. 🙂 🖼 Ambience - Ok South Indian feel to the place. You have paintings and some artefacts to reinforce the fact that you are In a South Indian place, but I think this can be worked on. Like if I compare it to Navaidyam, the minute u enter the place you know what you are there for. Zambar gives a vibe of South Indian fusion with North Indian / posh set up. 👯‍♂️ 😎Pro Tip - 1. On weekends there is usakaye waiting so always get your name on the list. 2. Check with Dineout / Times Prime etc., and you can get some real good deals. I got 30% off 😁 3. What they call spicy is not very spicy, so order accordingly. I ordered Paneer dish which they called out in the menu as loaded with chillis but it was just medium spicy.

I have been visiting zamber since past 5 years. I am in love with their chicken chettinaad and koliwada prawns. Taste is authentic and overall ambience is peaceful. Mr. Netrapal has been serving us always with his beautiful smile . He is very welcoming . PS: Chicken chettinaad with malabar parantha is a must try.

Shockingly not good.. if you are going with no expectations from a restaurant like zambar known for authentic coastal, south Indian & Kerala cuisine... Then you will be happy with overall food. BUT .. if you been & experienced the food from zambar earlier ... It's a disaster.. koliwada prawns with no besan or chana dal coating ... Colour dark brown & with tail.. I've never had it in the past .. if chef doesn't know what is koliwada prawns to be prepare kindly do your homework first. Secondly I've ordered famous chicken stew with appam . Typical kerela cuisine.. first of all stew with bone or boneless mention clearly in the menu card bcos in most part of south am use to eating chicken stew with bones.. secondly the main ingredients of Stew is Star anise & whole Black peppercorn .. both were missing .. stew tested as a sugar syrup stew.. am aware that chicken stew traditionally are sweetish in nature but what they have served was in competition with any sweet dish. Very disappointed & am sure the same old chef either he is missing or no more working here...

Ambeince completely showcase of South Indian culture. Incredible South Indian dishes. Especially Sri Lankan kothu roti must be tried here. Though little expensive -mocktails n shakes. Desert need to be enhanced.

It is such a nice place, i would recommend whole heartedly to everyone. Food quality, presentation, service, ambience all fab. If I really have to pick out a fault, they didnt change our plates between starters and main course🤣🤣

An authentic South Indian restaurant serving typical South Indian foods. Liked the dosa's. The chutneys are good. Ambience wise it's a nice place to go with family and friends. Do try the filter coffee too.

A South Indian restaurant located in Ambience Mall, Gurgaon! From their ambience to their food, I loved everything about this place. They do not serve alcohol, and it's safe to bring your children here. Must try their Fish Moilee with appams and definitely try our their coconut pudding with jaggery!

Place is good and vibrant. Staff is well mannered and polite. They focus only in South indian food, no mix like other few restaurants which is a great thing. Pricing is also decent, neither too affordable nor too pricey. Well judged price as per their location. Overall a great experience.
