I visited the Urgent Care Dept today. Great experience here once again. Everyone was extremely nice and caring. from the security guard and check-in staff. staff who took my blood pressure and asked questions. I was seen fairly quickly. very clean facility. Dr. Smith and the nurse were very caring. I love them both. I love the X-ray technology as well. Keep in mind that this is an urgent care situation. And most of the time, they may have one or two doctors to see all the patients. So it's going to be a wait. Unless it's life-threatening, Otherwise, great experience at this one every time I visited. The providers themselves are great. This rating is not a reflection of the doctors or the staff at all. It’s a reflection of the business practice. This is not an emergency room full stop, charging people emergency room costs for an urgent care during daylight hours is absolutely unacceptable. I’d understand doing so during overnight visits. But I went to the Palos ER twice in January for actual emergencies and both of those bills combined don’t equal a 10th of the bill from this place. I have good insurance that covered a good portion too. Absolutely unacceptable business practice.

Hard to navigate the building, there is nobody to direct patients to the correct entrance or suite, and the building plan is a sprawling single floor. Be prepared to hike. The wait was long - apparently front desk checked me in and the computer didn't let the provider know. Was told they got a new computer system and there have been nothing but problems. Staff was nice, however.

Walked in not knowing where to go and the security guard was just staring at us. She finally asked what we were there for and I said urgent care. She then pointed to a machine. I walked to the machine then she put a box of masks in my face. I did not know we had to wear masks. There was not an obvious sign. Then she watched over us using the check in machine. Rude and unprofessional first impression. We left and went to another urgent care anyway because they then said we would be charged as an ER not an urgent care.

An absolute JOKE. Inconsiderate nurses and doctor. Did not offer to clean the wound or offer an ice pack. Needed a CT scan. They did the scan, said it could take up to an hour for results. After waiting an hour and a half with no word I asked the doctor what was going on. We were then informed their machine could not take the scans that were needed. Wasted so much of our time. Came to university of Chicago and Hyde park in being treated with outstanding care in the trauma center. They do not know what they are doing at ‘immediate care’ nor do they care. They do not have the tools. If you are seriously injured do not waste your time there.

Only thing good about clinic is my DR’s service. Great explanations and care. Otherwise facility is extremely slow. My appointments are always 10:30Am and I ALWAYS get seen at least 1 hour. And 15mins for my visit… any lab work or additional exams another 1:30…

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE TOOLS TO TREAT YOU BUT THEY BILL AS A HOSPITAL ANYWAY. BETTER OFF GOING TO A REAL ER since you’ll be paying for it anyway. They portray themselves as an urgent care but the bill they slap you with is for a hospital visit. They DO NOT have an urgent care NPI number. Waited 3 hours to see a doctor who said he couldn’t do anything for me because they didn’t have the equipment. He suggested I go to a hospital for further analysis. If you are female, DO NOT give a urine sample as they WILL give you a pregnancy test, charge a couple hundred dollars, then outsource the test to a second facility (resulting in two charges). They do not give you your test results either.

What a rip off!! HORRIBLE, RUN DO NOT GO HERE! After having a head injury I signed the paper work nessacary to be seen after being in a car accident. I am now told that it disclosed the information that they charge as a hospital dispite adversting as urgent care I waited for 6 hours to be seen just for the doctor to give me ibuprofen. And am now stuck w a 1600$bill

HORRIBLE, INCONSIDERATE, THEY DO NOT CARE. Came in at 430pm with my 4 year old who busted his head open, is bleeding & most likely needed stitches. They still have us sitting in the waiting room & it is now 730pm. Absolutely horrible will never tell anyone to come here.

Great experience here, and would highly recommend it! Took my daughter here for a cardiologist appointment and was very impressed! From the office staff, to the nurse, ultrasound tech, and doctor, everyone was extremely friendly, professional, and great with kids! We had no wait time and were seen right away, the doctor was very thorough with making sure he had all the right family history, listened intently, and explained everything with patience. I was nervous coming here after seeing the low reviews, however realized a lot of them are for long wait times at the urgent care… which is typical. It is a little bit confusing finding the right suite, however the parking lots are all labeled, and if you simple ask which parking lot you should park in when making the appointment, it will be really easy to find!

I had a mammogram done here. The person performing it was ordering me instructions during the process. No compassion and she was very rough during the process.. could not understand her at all, she talked too fast! I have been going to Ingalls for over 20 years for mammograms . I have never been treated like this! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! I will NEVER schedule a mammogram here again!!

The doc they have is a JOKE. I was their a month ago for a Injury she did a x-ray n said nothing was broke ( WHICH WAS A LIE) I went to an orto Dr for MRI n I'm gonna need surgery... Then I was just their with my minor child and I express everything that has been going on with my child and she didn't do nothing but checked her lungs, ears and mouth. My child is pale, not eating, losing weight and always extremely tired and only thing my daughter was diagnosed was with an ear infection. Something needs to be done with this doc and I'm gonna bring this to the higher ups cuz obviously she don't care all she cares about is a paycheck ...

It's a very good place to go for urgent care, my provider was awesome!!! I had the best of care but the wait time is awful. Waited 5 hours seem more like 8 to be seen! Geez!!!🤷

Incorrectly billed and have failed to return call to correct. Do not pay upfront until to speak to the insurance company. Getting your money refunded is an ongoing challenge.

Honestly this place sucked. I’m pregnant and they showed no sympathy at all! They told me I could’ve passed out due to dehydration. I could barley stand and I was extremely weak. Also made a call to ask for the doctors note for the day I was seen and the next day and a lady over the phone said I could get it but when I went in they refused to give me one. Will be contacting BBB. I would advise anyone to no go here!

If you need to be seen by a doctor go somewhere else. Unless you want to wait 4 hours when there's know one ahead of you. I'm very patient but this is ridiculous. The staff is just sitting around. And when I asked I was told ot was due to a shift change. And this was by a doctor that was just sitting there.

I just called to speak to my doctor office and spoke to the RUDEST LADY in the "call center" as she put it!!! she told me my phone number had too many numbers and didn't ask me what I needed just read my message from the my chart that I sent yesterday and said it's been sent today. She was so rude I asked what her name was and she said this is the call center... I asked to speak to a supervisor and she transferred me to the directory so I wouldn't be able to talk to anyone.

We were immediately triaged but wasn’t put in the room until 2 -3 hours later then was in the room for two hours with no communication until I went and asked a nurse did they forget we were in the room. my daughter came in with a mild temp vomiting and diarrhea even vomited in the waiting area and complained of stomach pain still took about 4 -5 hours for someone to even look at her.

I felt they don’t take notes well and they don’t listen well to the patient the nurses don’t . . The dr is very rude and dose not take time with patients and don’t listen and take notes to patience concerns .
