Very disappointed in this place, "Little Joes", does not live up to its Glory Days, if it ever had any for serving up a Great Beef and Sausage sandwich. I visited here today (10/13/20) for lunch, and saw the old reviews which were displayed inside the counter top, they were dated some time ago, but thought I would check out the place for a combo, beef and sausage which was not very good at all. The beef was tender but had absolutely no flavor, it tasted like it was sitting in boiling water, and the Italian Sausage was the biggest disappointment of all, it was DRY and BURNT (*See photos of the sandwich) , I ordered the 9 inch Big Beef combo, and was told it had a sausage and a half to fill the bun, but it was misleading, they cut the regular sausage in half then spread it across the bun to appear its long, so they charge you an extra $3.00 dollars for nothing, so don't bother to get the bigger sandwich and waste your money. when I asked for some salt and pepper I was told that they don't have any because of Covis-19, and they don't put the condiments on the tables any more, so I asked, why they don't use the paper packets? and was told they don't use them. This place gave me the impression that they don't really care about there customers, because they haven't supplied basic condiments, and the dinning room appears clean, but kept sloppy (*See photos.), the back tables had all kinds of equipment siting on them, and the back tables were being used for storage of the outside tent, loosing about 3 tables for dinning. Don't understand why the dinning room isn't kept up? Overall the food is NOT VERY GOOD, and below average, so save your money$$ . They have free parking lot, and no gluten free items on the menu, the hot dogs are average- nothing special.

Honeslty i have no idea what the other two people with the recent low reviews are talking about. I was greeted right away and they were very clear if I wanted cheese, peppers or anything extra. First time being back in about 8-10 years and it taste just as I remember it. Flavorful beef, the bigger sandwich is definitely worth it. Always will make it a point to visit when I am in the area!

It was relatively quick service, what you'd expect from a place such as this. They offer daily specials, the day I went they had pasta. Food was again I feel like what you'd expect. Prices on some items great, others like hot dogs seemed a bit steep. The place is decievingly much larger than you'd think with a divide between the kitchen ordering area and a well maintained dining area which included gaming machines.

There were 3 of us earlier today. I got a pizza puff and cheese curds. i thought they were fine. One dish was a hot dog which half wasn't edible as it was rubbery and hard. The other dish was Italian beef. Also not what they were looking for. So the food here is just ok. Service itself was amazing. Very nice and accommodating. Patient with us as it was our first time. Cashier was sweet with a smile.

Friendly and nice staff, but that’s not what you come here for. The beef sandwich is a step, maybe two steps above the Chicago standard (which is already freakin delicious). Solid fries and cans of pop. Excellent value too.

I viewed the story about Little Joes years ago. I never stopped in until now. I will make up for lost time. We had the double dog and the jumbo dog. Awesome Vienna beef hot dogs! Highly recommend!! You wont be disappointed. Family owned! A+

Like 9$ for 2 hot dogs with fries yeah buddy it was fast cheap and delicious. Love the handwritten menu. This is the old fashioned Chicago style hot dog and beef stand. When I place my order they were cooking a whole gang of hamburgers and they looked delicious on the fire thing so I will try those later this week and update my review 😃

Such a memory bringer. Chicago dagh is excellent, I like a combo hot but to each their own. Parking can be tight at the front but spots around the corner. I've friends ask if I could bring them some up North...

Old school beef on juicy side even if you ask for dry. Gairdiniera is primarily celery with some peppers. Not my first choice but celebrate the difference in free remaining Chicago beef stands. FYI opened in 1969! I didn't have fries so prefer was roughly $11.

I found this place at work online. Was looking for a good Italian beef. I was a little nervous coming for the first time. The people made me feel comfortable. The service was very quick and courteous.

I’ve been going to Little Joe’s since I was a kid. Hands down, the best Italian Beef Sandwiches in the entire Chicagoland area, and I’ve tried them all. They have a family recipe for the peppers that just puts it over the top. Little Joe’s is a hidden gem and I’m happy they are still going strong after decades in business.

Had an italian beef with hot peppers. Great flavor. Peppers were not spicy as I would have liked. But everything tasted great.

I got a double chese burger it was made on the flame it had that nice flame taste it was huge ! I didn't expect it to be huge..fries were good but maybe give more fries to balance it with the humongous burger. The cooks were very nice and welcoming.

Very expensive I got a beef with mozzarella sticks and fries and it came out to 18$ when they gave me my order the beef was plain and when I asked them if it came that way they said yes and that I had to ask for peppers I feel like that’s something they should’ve told me when I was ordering it who gives out plain beefs . The marinara sauce was gross. Not sweet at all. Never coming here again . Worst 18$ I ever spent .

Average fast food place. Awkward silence and behavior while waiting for my food to be prepared. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a Chicago Polish and seemed to take 20mins. Probably won't return to this store. Seems more concentrated on slots that food customers.
