I stayed at SpringHill Suites Chicago Southwest at Burr Ridge/Hinsdale for a few days and I have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, the hotel is affordable and conveniently located near the Burr Ridge Village Center. The breakfast buffet was also satisfying and offered a variety of options. The staff was friendly and helpful when I needed assistance. However, I was disappointed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel. The carpets in the rooms were stained and dirty, and the room service was not available unless I requested it. The worst part was the snow removal in the parking lot. The hotel did not have enough staff to clear the snow during the harsh winter of Chicago, and it was very risky to walk or drive in the slippery conditions. The hotel should take this issue seriously and hire more people to ensure the safety of the guests. Another minor inconvenience was the lack of bottled water in the rooms. There was a cooler in the gym, but I would have preferred to have water in my room as well. Overall, I would give this hotel a 3 out of 5 rating. It has some good aspects, but it needs to improve its hygiene and snow management. I might recommend it to a friend or a business associate if they are looking for a budget-friendly option, but I would also warn them about the drawbacks.

The service at the desk is friendly and if you have any question you will get a friendly answer. Thanks for that. The question is… why I gave them only 2 stars? I got a large room with a lot of space. It was cleaned and everything was in it´s place. But, from my perspective, when traveling internationally, price and standard don't match for me. It seems a bit old-fashioned and less modern. Another problem for me is the connection of the hotel to the local infrastructure. Gastronomic establishments and shopping facilities can only be reached by own car or the hotel's own shuttle service. You are cut off. The hotel offers breakfast, which is included in the price. I have never paid such a high price for a room in any part of the value with breakfast at the low quality level. One gets full. There is enough available. But at the point my expectation was different, when I look at hotels of the group in Europe, for example. Which is really bad... Plastic knife, plastic fork, plastic spoon. Styrofoam plates and bowls. All disposable dishes that are thrown away after breakfast. Sustainability for the good of the environment completely absent. Mountains of garbage are produced. This is no longer in keeping with the spirit of the times. All in all, an average hotel. But with the above points for me just 2 stars.

We had a good stay/experience! The staff was very professional and helpful. All the amenities were very well kept and cared for. The pool is kept very clean. Overall, it was good staying here, and I'll be back soon.

Customer service was great, however the bathroom tub was dirty, you can see dirt and stains in the tub. I would hope they would do a better job in room presentation the bathroom should be the cleanest.

It was okay. I have stayed at nicer. After I removed cover there was stained on the comforter. Stains on carpet. Could use a little updating. Eas nice because had refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast had a nice selection vas far as continental breakfast goes waffles were not good tasted stale. They should be ashamed of themselves they charged $5 for a coke because there was not a convenience store in sight

This place was a little bit further than we would have liked but the Midway Hotels are not great based on personal experience/reviews. Our son lives in Garfield Ridge and we were attending graduation in Oak Lawn. If you were going downtown, it would be a bit of a drive. The Spring Hill Suites were quiet and clean. Our room was on the 3rd floor next to the elevator but we didn't hear any noise during our 2 night stay. We had a room with a king bed and sitting area with couch, coffee table, desk, microwave, fridge and sink. The room was in good repair. The door to the bathroom seemed to be too big for the bathroom size and would catch on the bath mat. There was breakfast but we had plans with family so only got coffee. I would recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel. Recently stayed for 2 nights. Our room was clean and comfortable. Nice pool enjoyed by grandson. Complimentary breakfast with a variety of food and drinks. Good coffee! Friendly and professional staff. BEST THING: I could not find 2 semi-expensive items when I returned home - 6 hours away. I called the hotel, and the items had been turned into their lost department. They shipped them to me! I very much appreciate how helpful they were in taking the time and effort to help me. Good place to stay if you're in the area.

Hotel is just off I55. Check in was quick. Hotel has 6 floors and two elevators. There's an indoor pool open 7a-10p, a 24 hour fitness room with free weights, two steppers, and two treadmills with TVs, laundry facilities. Each room has a coffee maker, microwave, minifridge. Ice machines are located on floors 1, 3, and 4. There's a small area to buy alcohol, snacks, and some small necessities (i.e. ibuprofen, nail clippers). Our couch had a pullout bed so I'd assume they all do. The beds were comfy as well as the linens and blankets. The pillows were perfect! There was a sitting area outside with chairs, lounge chairs, and tables mostly surrounded by the pool building and landscaping with sun and shade. Free breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, waffle maker, blueberry muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, bagels toast, butters, jams, jellies, and Nutella! They had really good coffee too. The coffee was only available from 4a - 12p 😕 This is a really great place to bring kids.

The room itself is good if you exclude that the bathroom sink and mirror are outside of the bathroom. What is unacceptable, and as of yet has not been addressed, is the heating unit. First, it is loud. Second, we set it on heat and every time that it starts it blow frigid air and then after a few minutes it switches to heat. Considering that the unit is less than 30cm from the bed, you either freeze or burn your feet. This is a real shame because in general this is a nice hotel, but I will not stay here if the heating issue is not addressed.

Comfy bed. Heat/cooling wasn't working but didn't need it. Standard breakfast. Coffee was very bold (I do like good coffee but was a bit much). Market items are pricey. Breakfast area floor was filthy this morning. Area was heavily use the night before but someone should have run a vacuum. Very warm pool.

The team is quite friendly, and the common areas are well kept. However our room was definitely ⭐⭐. The musty smell welcomes you and then you notice the carpet which clearly has not been vacuumed (or desperately needs to be cleaned). The free breakfast is the same as most anywhere else. It's fine, for what it is.

Stayed there for a night with family, room was nice, comfortable and quiet, we checked in around 9pm so it was not busy and staff at front desk was friendly checked us in quickly, lots of parking available and it’s conveniently located. Only problem is the bathroom, it was very small and sink was outside the bathroom like motels. Overall I gave them 5stats for a pleasant stay.

The service in the hotel is amazing! The staff is so nice, and they usually always have a smile on their face. The hotel rooms are so clean and they feel clean.

I stayed here for a friend's wedding. The room was comfortable and well appointed. There were plenty of extra bedding materials available if someone wanted to use the couch for additional sleeping space. The continental breakfast was just what I needed after a night of dancing. The only negative I would point out is that the coffee you can make in your room is really, really awful.

I was in town for a NAMI Conference. The staff (Ryan-front desk) was wonderful. He was so helpful and wanted me to be comfortable during my stay. The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious, and breakfast was delicious. Thank you!!

This hotel is terrible. Check in time was at 3pm, we arrived at 3pm and was informed our room was not ready. My family and I was attending a wedding which started at 5pm and we were not dressed. At 3:30pm our room was finially ready. We opened the door to our hotel room and a maid was still in the room cleaning up. We also realized the same maid, was one that was down stairs in the lobby conversing and laughing with management and the front desk clerk. The room smelled like feet. Not sure when they last time the shampooed the carpet. I kept on my slides the entire stay. When we exited our room the room across from us had left dirty diappers by their door. Those diapers were never picked up the 24 hours we were there. Just avoid this hotel!!

Stayed here with my family last month. The rooms are outdated the air-conditioner in the room was loud especially at night. There were stains on the carpet in room as well as the hallway. Not to mention the bathtub was stained. The lobby was nice and clean complimentary breakfast was nice.

I don’t recommend to stay in this hotel. Outdated, inconvenient rooms, helpless staff. The worst thing is washbasin is located outside of bathroom!!! Total nonsense for such high price hotel. Worse than cheap motel. Dont waste your money and nerves to stay in this hotel. Never ever returning to this hotel again!!!

Sure, this is no JW Marriott, but for this price point it’s definitely 5 stars. Rooms are spacious with a mini kitchenette area with a sink, microwave, and refrigerator. Smart TVs with Netflix and Amazon Prime, and good variety of cable channels. Friendly staff, decent sized free parking lot, smells great inside, and is overall clean. Breakfast buffet has a great selection as well, including yogurts, pastries, bagels, scrambled eggs, waffle maker, and oatmeal station. It’s definitely not in a walkable area though, but if you have a car, everything you need is short drive away. We stayed here twice since May for our two mini trips to Chicago, and both times Sarah went above & beyond to accommodate us.

Overall, the stay was excellent. The staff was outstanding. When we departed, the same receptionist who had checked us in was still present. She was so welcoming and helpful. I didn't know they had a shuttle when I reserved the accommodation, but they do. When we asked about where to eat dinner, the driver was there and volunteered to transport us. He was a pleasure to talk to and really pleasant! The pool was the only significant issue I had. The water was really cold and had an excessive amount of chlorine. The grownups definitely couldn't handle it, but the kids still had a great time swimming. When we next travel in this direction, I'll keep this hotel in mind.

Pleasant staff. The a/c worked almost too well. It was hard to control the temperature of the room. Everything else was very nice.

We frequently travel, and this was one of the nicest hotel rooms we have stayed in during the last year! It seems like someone thought through every detail. Everything was clean and worked perfectly.

I am puzzled by all the good reviews. We were here in multiple rooms for multiple days and it was at best mediocre. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the facilities are beat down- mustiness, broken lamps, visibly damaged furniture, bathtubs with rusty patches of degrading metal, dirty pool.

The hotel is spotless! The sundry shop is very small, and completely over-priced. The room rate is outrageous, as these rooms are not "suites." The rooms are extremely clean, which is of utmost priority to me.

We came for one night and ended up staying for four! The staff is super nice, the hotel is clean and safe, breakfast is good, and the location is great! Next time we need to visit this area we will definitely stay here!

Old, worn, front desk wasn’t very friendly …lobby is too small for sports teams, group breakfasts, or gatherings. It was as clean as it gets for as outdated as it was. Would not recommend for a stay to play.

Convenient to my work. Clean room and nice amenities. Comfortable double bed and plenty of hot water! Breakfast which was complimentary had many options from which to choose.

Hotel is clean, staff is friendly, free breakfast in the A.M. I'd suggest stopping for snacks and drinks prior to arrival, pricey for theirs. Netflix wouldn't allow me to log in but a decent stay and the bed is very comfortable.

Hotel was just okay. I stayed in a double bed suite on 1st floor. When walking inside room, i noticed kinda a musty smell in there. After walking around inspecting the room, I saw a stain on side of bed and above that there was a something lumpy under the sheet. I pulled whatever was lumpy underneath the sheet and it was a dirty bath towel. At that point I called downstairs told them what I found and asked if I could change rooms. They gave me a new room, on 2nd floor same layout. The second room was 100% better. No musty smell, and the bed was much cleaner, room was much cleaner. The snack shop downstairs was pretty cool, I ended up getting a frozen pizza, some soup, some ice cream and pop. They also had alcohol there to buy, but I didn't get any of that. In the morning, I had the breakfast and it was pretty good. There were sausages, eggs, other things like bagels and muffins. The orange juice didn't taste like orange juice though. Very watered down. Overall it was just okay,
