Hidden gem. I dropped off family at O'Hare and wanted to treat myself to lunch along route back to Wisconsin. This restaurant was conveniently located 5 minutes off interstate 90 , south on Mecham Road. I enjoyed excellent service and delicious array of foods on their weekend buffet.

Although I got several items from the buffet (as evident by the below picture), I’d like to spotlight the butter chicken. It was my first time going to a restaurant that caters to the Indian palate and it did not disappoint. The butter chicken was tangy, tender, and well-seasoned. The aesthetically-pleasing golden curry the chicken marinated in had a rich texture that further whetted my appetite. It paired excellently with the rice by offering a refreshing contrast between the subtle spiciness of the former and the mildness of the latter. The butter chicken was amazing and by far the best dish I had Schaumburg Indian Bar & Banquet.

We used to eat here often at weekends. The food I like isn’t available at the buffet anymore like uttapam and shrimp and some other dishes. We dined in and ordered gravy dishes and biryani. The food was good and the service was too. The owner was very welcoming and polite. I recommend you to try this place.

We went for lunch buffet on Sunday. Ambience is very nice and I can say this is a better place in terms of ambience among all indian restaurants in Schaumburg area. There are decent number of varieties in beg and non veg items in buffet. Except for couple of items, taste of all items is good. Tandoori chicken, fish starter and mutton rogan josh were good. Biryani was just okay. Overall nice place to visit!!

Honest life hack - Indian banquet halls (when not hosting weddings) are incredible, uncrowded, and about as authentic as you'll find in the USA. This joint proves this theory right. Seriously outstanding. 👏🏼

4months ago It was my first visit to the Schaumburg and to say that the service was outstanding is an understatement. Everything,from start to finish, was simply wonderful. Everyone was so pleasant and professional. Our meals were exquisite. We had a lovely time here and thank all of the staff members ( from the servers ,to the chefs) for making our visit a memorable one

I never expected an Indian restaurant is maintained this bad. Horrible experience with the food we ordered. Ordered punugulu turned out those are too oily and not cooked inside so we asked to replace with Dosa and the griddle waste is sticking to dosa. May be this is the time for owner to focus on the quality of food.

Recently dined at Schaumburg Indian Grill Bar & Banquet, and it's a delightfully "utterly butterly yummy" experience. The fusion of exquisite flavors and a warm, inviting ambiance made our evening truly memorable. The courteous host added to the positive atmosphere, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Schaumburg Indian Grill Bar & Banquet is now a favorite, and we're already planning to revisit soon. Thank you for the exceptional food and hospitality!
