My experience at South Barrington Dental Care was amazing. The staff and Dr. Athar were all very friendly and I felt very comfortable there. If you're looking to get any implant work done, I strongly recommend them. Their reviews speak for themselves!

My hatred for the dentist is finally gone! I’ve avoided them most of my life for obvious reasons, but was pleasantly surprised when it was nothing like I remember. I had a deep cleaning and a few cavities filled with ZERO pain or discomfort. Dr. Sokolik was incredibly friendly and you can tell he really cares about his patients. The ladies at the front desk are always smiling and have been an absolute pleasure to work with! After everything was finished, I decided to cap it off with a whitening. Phenomenal results! Great ending to an all around great experience.

If you’re looking for a new dentist or wanting to get Invisalign, then look no further. I had the best experience I’ve ever had getting dental work done - it was actually enjoyable being there! Their assistants were extremely gentle, one in particular being Ella, so I was able to feel more relaxed throughout the process. She made me feel so incredibly comfortable and I am happy to say that I will be a lifelong patient.

This is by far the best dental group I have ever been to. The entire team is absolutely amazing, kind, and warm. Special thanks to Candice who is an absolute expert in gum health and worked with me, a very nervous patient, to do a serious deep clean. I have more work to do, but they are putting me back on the path to great dental health. In addition, the prices are extremely affordable both with my insurance, but even without! They do it it right - don't go anywhere else.

Dr. Sokolik is so knowledgeable, the gentlest, most caring, accommodating, and cheerful dentist I have ever been to in my 75 years. He also does great work, and I just can't recommend him enough. His staff is exceptional. Do yourself a favor and pay him and his staff a visit.

Loved my experience at South Barrington Dental Care! Everyone here is so friendly and kind! Dr. Sokolik was very thorough and listened to all my needs. The hygienist, Renata, took her time and did an amazing job on my cleaning, no pain at all and my teeth have never felt cleaner! Elda the assistant was also very helpful to the hygienist during the measuring of my gums, and Beth at the front desk took care of all my questions. I felt very taken care of, and especially with a Covid still around, I felt that their practice took the extra steps and precautions to really go above and beyond for their patients to feel safe. Overall, great experience and would highly recommend them for your dental needs!

South Barrington Dental Care is fantastic. They were able to fill my cavity right away while I was in for my cleaning. The entire staff is friendly and compassionate. They are gentle with their procedures and always let you know what they are doing and if you are feeling ok. They are the best!

Amazing customer service. I’ve been going here for a few years and I’ve never had a bad experience here. The front desk ladies have always been so kind and welcoming, along with the dental hygienists/assistants and Dr. Steven Sokolik. Coming from someone who doesn’t have dental insurance and usually having to pay out of pocket, Jackie and Missy have worked with me in the past on payment plans so I’m able to get the required work done on my teeth. They are really sweet and accommodating to my financial situation(s). It’s helped me tremendously and I would recommend this dental care office to anyone.

Had amazing veneers done by Dr. Fedyna several years ago, and always loved his staff! I was nervous to return after he sadly passed away, but the new doctor, Dr. Sokolik, is great and works well with people who have some dental anxiety (like myself)! Jenny, the hygienist was gentle and considerate, I know I am not the easiest patient but she really did her best to accommodate me and make me feel comfortable! Thank you for the great experience!

I love this place! Let me start out by saying how awesome the employees are. They are warm, welcoming, and just all-around fun to be around. Let’s face it, dentist can be a scary thing. These people make it feel like you’re going on a picnic. After years of being at another dentist we switched over to this place. They gave my fiancé an amazing smile. This place is a must try, highly recommend!
