The worst hospital I ever been. I give birth at this hospital and after the delivery I was left in my own blood and amniotic fluids for 4 hours, after which I get sent at home with not even the possibility to feed my baby at the breast as soon as possible as recommended. They did not help at all, and after just 5 min of trying in which I was asking for support, I was told to try later at home, ignoring my birth plan and the fact that latching in the first hour is crucial for a successful brestfeeding. I do not know the length of my baby at birth because they did not measure it. After two days from birth we had to go back because my baby had a breathing issue. In a day an an half of been at the hospital we got three different suggestion on how to feed my baby: one nurse mention pumping, one to use nipple shield and one to not do anything, as if they did not have time to talk or read what was done by the previous shift. All were mentioning to feed every three ours, while brestfeeding is on demand and this led to bring a lot of stress to my baby, which lost quite a bit of weight (9%). All really confusing and stressful. When my baby was one month old we got sent back to this hospital to treat a bad case or reflux. The pediatrician suggested to see a physiotherapist (I thought to check some muscles or teach us some positions which would help with reflux), but this "professional" just tried to teach us how to sleep train our baby. She told us that our baby had to sleep in her bed and we should not hold her to sleep. Even the consultatie bureau do not recommend this kind of procedure before 6 month. She also forced the pacifier in the month of my baby claiming that she had to understand who was the boss. Obviously I did not follow any of those insane recommendations and I had to fly back to my own country to have my baby properly checked and cured for reflux. The Physiotherapist also sent us another colleague at home to check how things were going that was completely useless, nothing helpful was coming out from her mouth and she was just knotting to what I was saying. If you have to give birth or have your baby treated better to stay home or go to Arnhem, because in this hospital is hell.

Had to wait over 45 minutes for a ten minute talk, with no other explanation than "we're waiting for the doctor". Then had to wait another fifteen just to be told we could make the next appointment somewhere upstairs. This has not been the first excruciating experience here either. It's been this way for as long as I can remember, and I highly doubt it'll change any time soon. If you can choose easily, go to a different hospital.

I had my baby at this hospital. Every single staff member we encountered was absolutely fabulous, knowledgeable, genuinely kind and caring. They provided advice on the best breastfeeding latch techniques for my little one. I know hospital births aren't normal for the Netherlands, however they are in Australia, and I can confidently say I'd happily have my next baby here as well.

The woman on the emergency line asking why did I call after I explained my daughter isn't drinking, has 39.5 c fever, throat pain, headache, irritated eyes, has vomited everything since yesterday and is now refusing to eat and drink... Then a "Doctor" that sees my daughter, I explain all the symptoms and says i have to FORCE my daughter to drink to avoid hospitalization, that's why I went to emergencies, have anyone forced you ever to drink when you'reso weak you can't lift your head?!! Should I throw the water like that to her face?? My daughter was previously very ill with pneumonia but the female doctor that "checked" her in this same hospital couldn't even care to look at my daughter's throat but she wrote she did it! So i had to keep my 5 yo going up and down until finally the huisarts checked her carefuly and then my daughter was super ill and had to be hospitalized immediately. Going next time to Tiel, hopefuly they're a bit more professional there or they care more about how sick a child can get so quickly.

I don't know why all these people are complaining. The healthcare system in the Netherlands is wonderful, the TV told me so.

Awful experience! I was sent away even after I had a doctor's appointment with the reason, "We cannot help you". This is a hospital, right?

DONT have your wisdom teeth removed at this hospital!!! They kept me waiting for 4+ hours even though I arrived on time for my appointment. The attitude of my surgeon was also horrible. After surgery my situation was really bad and I had to take painkillers nonstop. Took whole month to recover. πŸ‘Ž And for comparison: I had my other side of wisdom teeth removed somewhere else. Recovered within one week and didn’t need to use any pills.

Went there for blood sample. Very good infrastructure, except for the parking where you have to pay. In my opinion when you need to go to the hospital (even when visiting or just a blood sample) you should never need to pay. When I searched on the site for parking information it said you could only pay with cash. (I contacted the hospital and they edited it afterwards. As can be seen on The Internet Archive) But even with my smartwatch I was able to do a contactless payment. So you should definitely be able to pay in which way you want. Indoors the hospital was well organised and the directions were clear. The reason for 4 stars is the parking costs.

Best hospital ever. I had visited the hospital about six times Very very friendly care-takers. I owe you my life. Thank you a lot. However they are very hard to check via phone. This is the only downside.

Really good hospital so according to my personal experience. At different departments always been helped well and really nice medical staff to help you through the process. Also the after-care has surprised me. The only downside I always had is the waiting time, because the appointments get delayed, sometimes up to 60 minutes. Other than that the medical help and after care has always been great.

I cannot express how friendly sweet and caring everyone was with me in this hospital, all doctors and nurses were absolutely amazing and kind, the surgery went so smoothly and recovery seems easier, i am an international and had a surgery here away from my friends and family but the way everyone treated me nicely made me feel less lonely

Unprofessional, unethical, negligent to say the least! To turn away a toddler from an emergency room in the middle of the night with persistent sky rocketing fever that’s not responding to meds for hours is simply heartless!! They wouldn’t see her, they literally shut the door simply saying β€œthe doctor will not see her”.
