I had an absolutely amazing experience at Worldeye. Everyone from receptionist to optometrist to the surgeon is incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. I had my PRK surgery about 3 month ago and while the road of recovery was not always easy - especially in the beginning - the end result is more than I could have wished for and so was the support I received during this time. The procedure was well explained and properly executed. And I was able to come in for check ups as much as I needed (even outside of the scheduled check ups) to feel reassured that my eyes are healing as expected. From the first contact to the very last examination a year after my ReLEx SMILE operation, I knew I was in good hands. A friend had recommended the International Vision Centers clinic in Amsterdam after his operation a few months before. After the initial test, I was told that due to my very thin cornea, the chance of retaining a small deviation was quite high. Because of this, I would not be able to have any other forms of treatment and would not be allowed to have another surgery afterwards. I had Smile Laser at Worldeye Amsterdam in March 2019. Before the procedure, my eyes were thoroughly inspected to see if I would be a good candidate. I was fully informed about what to expect. During the procedure a kind nurse held my hand and kept me calm (which really helped a lot since the procedure itself is quite a challenging psychological experience for some). My follow up care was excellent too. I am extremely happy I did SMILE laser at Worldeye to correct my sight which was -2.75 at the time. Since then I have had no side effects (except dry eyes which I had before anyway). For this I use Hylan eyedrops which solves the issue easily.

It's been almost a year (September 2022) since I got my SMILE surgery at FYEO. They've been professional throughout - thorough checks coming up to the surgery, the surgery itself was super fast - they provided all the medication with clear instructions and I had a speedy recovery with regular checkups for the first few months. Eye drops are also provided for free for a year after the surgery although I am lucky enough not to suffer from dry eyes (despite working in front of a screen all day). All staff spoke from good to excellent English - there was never a barrier to communication. The location is also excellent and close to public transport - although the initial appointment was at another location which was a little confusing, all subsequent appointments were at De Boelelaan clinic.

1,5 year ago I had laser surgery. The whole process was very professional, clear, clean and I felt taken care off greatly. Still perfect eyesight!
