    Literally a SCAM!!! Unprofessional people, been trying to cure my mother for over 2 years and still they cant figure out whats going on. Imagine not having a file logs between doctors so every time a doctor wants to check out other doctors scans and info you need to make a new appointment i wonder why :| Making unnecessary appointments for nothing.. oh i know why, so they can make more money out of you… plus the medicine they gave which they were not even sure about it. A complete JOKE of a hospital (SCAM business ). If your family doctor wants to send you there don’t accept because you will be wasting your time and money..

    Staff and facilities are great almost 5 star worthy but doctors do not care for you here. I was told they could no longer help me and had to leave. Went to United Kingdom to get properly diagnosed and was confirmed to have medical condition that requires treatment!

    The reason this place has such bad reviews is because it's all true and I got to experience everything first hand. The receptionists were rude and I had to wait more than 1 hour even though I had an appointment. There was no apology whatsoever, the receptionist even sent someone in before me who did not have an appointment. The doctor had a I couldn't care less attitude and the consult was awkward, uncomfortable and rushed, like I was inconveniencing him plus he didn't even give a diagnosis. When I went to schedule a follow up, the lady gave me rude and condescending answers. Now I'm waiting for the crazy bill that I know I'm going to receive based on the comments here. Waste of time, money and energy.

    It seems an organized crime. My Huisarts sent me to this clinic. In this clinic i had a less than 5 minutes consultation where doctor told me literally nothing helpful but sent me to CT scan. The price for this was 250 euro for consultation and 720: euro for CT scan! Moreover, they didn't help me at all. They even didn't try to solve my problem the doctor literally laughed at my face when told me: "We can't help you at all. You have to use the spray against the running choose for a rest of your life."

    Very poor treatment. Waiting 2 hours and 40 minutes. Arrived here when they opened at 9am. I asked 2 times for how long it will take and they ask me to wait... And then after 2 hours waiting and nobody else in the room, then they asked for my name...so i was not even in the waiting list... Very very very professional!!!! And of course i will need to pay for my treatment, plus day free at work, plus transport here (i left home at 7,25 to be here on time at 8,20)... Very expensive check. Not recommend at all. Can you let me know within how many days I can get an answer about my complaint? Thanks. Update in this post : its already more than 1 month since they said in this post that i will receive an answer shortly...

    Extremely disorganised. The staff are unable to locate the payment I made of a large amount for an appointment, nor could they communicate properly requiring important documents. In addition, I was dealing with people who genuinely couldn't speak English would NOT trust this place with a surgery- no care!

    Nice medical center. Really clean and looking much better than normal Dutch hospital. I had a MRI, in the morning I was by my house doctor in the afternoon I got a call from Acibadem for a appointment in 2 day ... I got my MRI done. The only thing what can be better, is the staff of the MRI explains more about the process.. Thank you Acibadem for the quick appointment

    Trust the reviews and avoid this place at all costs. I have been to many hospitals and this is by far the worst experience. Not only they are unfriendly and rude ( the robots are friendlier) but they are also extremely unprofessional! 0 guidance post surgery, incorrect prescription! ( thankfully the pharmacist spotted it). The admin and assistants are just inhumane. I so regret going to this place. I even doubt the treatment I got was necessary. It is all about the money and horrendous service here! No wonder their waiting times are shorter. Noone wants to go there and noone should!

    I went to Acibadem to do an ultrasound exam that I paid140 euros ore something, which is fine. Then I got a consultation at a surgeon, this lasted barely 5 minutes and he told me not to do the surgery because it's dangerous and I can get infection. Fine. I asked after that the lady at the desk if I need to pay anything. She checked and said no. Few months later a receive a bill from Acibadem to pay 258 euros. Without any details. Is the 5 min consultation 258 euros? Why don't you inform people beforehand that the consultation is at that price? I can hear the same info (the surgery is dangerous and I can die) from anyone.

    Do not be fooled by the looks of the place, this is not a medical center, just another money rinsing establishment. Being ignored by staff, diverting my calls, unwillingness to help, I think it's appalling the way the treat people. Not to mention discrimination! Absolutely disgusted..I come from the land of Hippocrates and let me tell you his bones are shaking in his grave because of how you are operating a place like this and getting away with it. Shame on you!

    Healthcare in the Netherlands is not the best, but this clinic breaks all records. I had appointment with the surgeon, who did nothing. This appointment was an emergency appointment, after that I had to wait 1,5 month to get another appointment in OLVG. 1,5 months of bleeding and stress. 180 euro for a chat with a surgeon with 5 cm long nails. No research, nothing and 180 euro.

    Had to wait over an hour for my turn. Second time this happens at this center, and the first time they even forgot to call my name. They were trying to send me home If I hadn't insisted that I want the specialist to see me. This second time the receptionist just casually said the doctor was late today, and I had other pressing commitments, yet literally over an hour waiting. The receptionist was nice though

    I've been here 4 times, it cost me 1250 euro for kidney stone investigation. Result: Nothing, still have kidney stones and they don't give you any feedback. Insurance didn't pay anything back, I had to pay everything privately. The examining doctor said nothing, I never saw the diagnostics they did. This place is just about making money. Great business model for their investors, not recommended for treatment or diagnostics. The building is amazing, but the quality of service is terrible. People before profits does not apply here.

    Just visited the place to do an ultrasound research. It's a normal clinic with a friendly staff and an experienced doctor (at least one). The questionnaire was in Dutch but the Google Translate app helped me together with the reception worker. The only sad part is a 5-step instruction on how to pay - it's very clear, but I'd prefer the clinic do it instead of me. So, my grade is 4/5, but I put 5 because of all these 1-star reviews which the clinic doesn't deserve.

    Plus sides: Clean. Nice receptionist. Nice building, quiet. We asked for a female radiologist which they provided Negatives: Long list. 1) Price: We went for an ultrasound of armpit for a suspected lump. The procedure was hardly 10 minutes long. And in the end, it costed us €145! Just for 10 mins. The procedure is too pricey. 2) The procedure was late by around 20 mins. Despite of the fact that we had an appointment with a preferred doctor and later I also confirmed it. 3) While waiting for it, it was the time for my daily prayer. I found a quiet spot and decided to pray which hardly takes 5 minutes. Also, it does not make any noise or disturbance. But as soon as I took out my prayer mat, a security guard came to me and told me I could not pray inside the building. He told me it is not allowed by building rules to pray anywhere! I asked if there is another room or corner where I can do it but he said No. I did not argue and went outside in the parking to do my prayers in cold weather. Why prayer / meditation is not allowed if I do not do it in a group, disturb others, make noise, block the hallway, burn candles etc? 4) The complaint email that admin is writing in previous comments does not work! I have tried sending emails but it is never delivered. 5) The medical center does not have contract will all the insurance companies. I have zilvern kruis insurance. And to get it covered from them, I have a list of 4 steps to follow. Very tedious.     Completely incompetent doctors and very bad organization. I particularly had to deal with doctor van den Heijkant. She didn't know any of the drugs I mentioned to her, and she had very limited knowledge about the common deseases from her area of knowledge. She wanted me to do tests that were completely unrelated to my case, but were related to her specific research domain on which she has several papers written. At the same time, she didn't want to me to do the control test for the disease that I've just recently had. Also, whatever we agreed upon with her, she never followed our agreement and always wanted me to come for one more appointment and do more completely useless and unrelated tests. All the supporting staff from laboratories and reception was also not helpful and incompetent. Overall, don't recommend this medical center as it is a complete waste of time.

    Unprofessional assistant staff and especially the pharmacy. They tried to charge me 300 euros for doctor assistance even after my insurance company covered all fees in advance for 30 seconds of doctors time. It took them 30 minutes to figure it out with the insurance company and exactly 30 seconds for the doctor to diagnose what I have and to give me antibiotics. Later on after giving me the prescription the pharmacy couldn’t find it ,took them extra 30 minutes to find the prescription. the woman with head cover talk in front of me with someone on the mobile 15 maybe minutes and laughing when I actually waiting for her and then gave me expired medicine. Which forced me to come back to this clinic and exchange. The only reason I not give 1 star is because doctor seems to be good and they fixed the issue.

    After my surgery, medical staff came to me and said that I have to change my clothes even though I had pain. That means I have to leave the hospital ASAP. He didn't even bother himself to ask how do I feel in the first place. After I sent my complaint, nothing replied yet. Good Job!! Keep going that way!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

    Don't answer any call from Acibadem, it's a SCAM On the 2nd day of this year, i received a call from anonymous number which it turned out it was a (doctor) from Acibadem asking me about my symptoms that i had in my kidney. We spoke only about 5 minutes. In that call i received no advice or any kind of service at all. So no consultations no advices no prescription, NOTHING. Then she told me to make an appointment to do some checks but i refused because i read the comments later and i knew they were and still a SCAM. Nevertheless, on May i have received an invoice to pay 316 euro, because according to them, consultation calls are paid !!!!! So imagine someone calls you and provide no service, no advices, and does not declare that you would be invoiced, just because you answered a meaningless call !!!! I raised a dispute and they claimed that the (doctor) wrote down a thorough report about my case which is the biggest lie I've ever heard of. I asked them to share with me the report and no answers or a reply on my emails and reminders yet. Please be aware of this place and avoid it at all costs.

    you came here, read about the reviews and think "oh it cannot be that bad" I assure you it's so much worse than the reviews. Everything is handled here poorly, no one knows about what is going on, you need to tell people the same thing over and over. They don't have any kind of communication between the departments and end of the day they charge you so much more than other hospitals. So just, stay away. Many of us failed, you just keep away and save yourself.

    The prices are not honestly shared. I ended up with the huge amount for a 10minute chat with the doctor, where nothing was solved and neither advice given. The amount was not covered by the insurance and I do have a good insurance plus an extra package in it. I am sure I will avoid this institution in the future.

    Horrible hospital with rude staff!! They have zero customer service and don’t care about patients at all!! Just one example: during my intake appointment on a Thursday, they scheduled a surgery (with Dr. LAKI STANOJCIC - who is really nice btw) for next Friday (not coming Friday) and said they would call with the details. I called every day from the following Monday through Thursday: I was told that the staff will call me the next day (each time); and finally, during my THIRD CALL ON THURSDAY at 5pm, I’m told there is no surgery and that they’ll call to reschedule. It’s been 2 weeks since then and NOTHING. I even emailed them asking if the doctor (DRS. LAKI STANOJCIC) even wants to do the surgery, but as usual, no response. Just incredibly rude! As an ill patient, this is unacceptable. If you have the option, please go somewhere else. This hospital and staff just don’t care. Doesn’t matter if you contact them by phone or email, they’ll just shrug you off. Oh, and the best part: you have to file your own insurance claim! Why doesn’t the hospital file it themselves instead of spending so much time and energy sending numerous emails/letters to the patient (especially when it’s been done and we’ve sent proof via email)?!

    Excellent service and care. Surgeon was kind and understanding. After being on the waiting list for surgery for more than a year at another hospital (and being literally scolded when I called to enquire about the waiting time) it was a relief to have surgery scheduled a week after initial consultation. All staff was professional, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

    Useless! Never and never i will come back even if it will be the last clinic on the earth. They just try take your money for useless consulting. After we spent 600 euro for very superficial visit the result of doctor is: i dont know what is your problem. Also is very very difficult to get in contact with zorgadministratie, they truly ignore your email until you dont stalk them with emails and nothing concrete. I don't raccomend to anyone unless you dont want to wast your money.

    I came to this hospital in 2020 to see Dr. Kaufmann. I was referred due to having major pelvic pain and intestinal pain. Moreover, I had not had a period in months. Big indicator for PCOS. My girlfriend, an ex-pat from Germany used to proper (female) healthcare, was always experiencing heavy period pains with her copper IUD. However, the month leading to our visit, the pain got heavier and lasted for weeks. We looked and eventually found the international medical center, the German education of the Drs gave the final push to get an appointment. This hope for good care was over after we were seated down in the waiting area without knowing when Drs Kaufmann was available to see my girlfriend despite the appointment. It took more than 90 minutes before Drs Kaufmann entered the waiting room, not paying attention to the patients waiting, casually having a chat with the receptionist. The Gucci handbag and shoes felt a bit out of place, but who am I to judge. It was my girlfriend's turn to be seen. The coldness and distance couldn't be easier to spot. My girlfriend, happy to be helped and visiting a professional, shared her symptoms. Long story short, it turned out she was pregnant while having a copper IUD! As this pregnancy was unwanted, she informed about abortion. Because of her Christian religion, Drs Kaufmann does not perform an abortion on women. I then saw Dr Bjagwandin who proceeded to gaslight me about my condition. As a patient with decades of experience living inside my body, I think I'm best qualified to know when something is wrong. As a medical professional, you're best qualified ( I hope) to figure out what exactly this 'something wrong' is. But how can you do that if you don't listen to what the patient is telling you? The whole experience just felt like a race to get me out the door as quickly as possible. I won't be coming back.

    Just came from an appointment here with very mixed emotions & opinions. The entry reception staff were very polite, welcoming & provided clear instructions for 1st time patients. Thank you for providing an initially great 1st impression. My 2nd stop was Radiology Reception who were not very clear providing instructions, but were polite. And through them I saw the radiologist who was very friendly, considerate and bubbly. Thank you for calming a bit of the confusion. My 3rd stop was the 1st floor reception who were beautifully kind and thorough. They also informed me that I needed to return downstairs for my previously taken x-rays to be copied by the Radiology Reception (who did not ask any of these questions). Then I met the Orthopedic Surgeon (Dr. Pijnburg) who was initially polite and direct that my problem wasn't easy to solve, however it's important for doctors to not make assumptions about patients. Ask questions to make an assessment, not assume what you think.     I went for a gynecological consultation, because I had been 3 times to the GP for that and it wasn't solved. The consultaion felt really rushed, and the doctor was telling me some basic general knowledge things about women's health and recommending me articles to read online. In the end she literally said something like "I know I didn't solve your issue but..". Then they charged me 290€ for this. Absolutely ridiculous.

    We went on visitation to our friend who just had surgery. Apparently there is only allowed to have 2 visitors per 24h. Instead of asking nicely, the security guard started yelling inside the room, with the patient, and then escorted us out.

    The one star belongs to the kind receptionist. Above that the experience with the Dutch doctors is once again very disappointing. The doctor was very rude and she couldnt explain me why I don't need an MRI while my doctor in Greece told me I need to do it as soon as possible! It's so funny that she told me to go back to Greece and do it, while I pay 150€ every month,having no health care in the Netherlands. I told her that she isn't going to pay my tickets to Greece and my doctor there. I have to do it. While I am paying here for everything I do,plus the health insurance, having no rights! Coming here, admit to yourself that you are just a number for these people. Anything happens to you,it's your problem. Find a solution yourself. Good luck to everyone who suffers and can't find treatment! Don't come here

    Superficial medical advice; invented services on your invoice; extremely expensive and a lot of incompetence. Arrogance towards foreigners, an absolutely bad and unprofessional experience. The staff will try to mislead you, they would do anything for money. The consultation lasted less than 3 minutes, I was very sick and told I have "nothing", left from there with advice to drink tea. Stay away from this place.

    Dr. Frejlach is an incredibly kind and compassionate Orthopedist. I feel so lucky to have found him. I had horrible experiences at the hospital and GP office and wasn’t until meeting him, restored my faith that there are a few good Doctors in the Netherlands that became a Doctor to actually help people, and not just how much money they can save the hospital. Desk staff and MRI techs are also quite nice and helpful.

    I hope noone ever has to experience such poor, rushed treatment and such little care levels. Doctors have a legal obligation to protect our vital interests, mine certainly did not fulfill this obligation. Acibadem states a goal to « provide patients with all their health-related wishes and needs, in order to lead the healthiest life possible ». The feeling we get is they do not care about your well-being: the doctor is impossible to speak to, they do not return your calls, never reply to emails, and send this standard response every time ´Your response will be forwarded to the relevant department.’ Avoid ever going there!

    As someone who has lived in different countries and is struggling with the reliability of the Dutch healthcare system I can assure you that Acibadem IMC is a game changer. They provide private clinic service level, covered by insurances. The part that is not being covered by your insurance Acibadem itself is covering. On the contrary to most Dutch clinics, you do not have to wait endlessly to get an appointment. Once you have the referral letter from your GP, Acibadem contacts you within a day to make an appointment for a few days after. The doctors I had appointments with over the years were Dr. Stanojcic (KNO), Dr. Klomps (cardiology) and Dr. Kaufmann (Gynecologist). All were specialists with tremendous and state of the art knowledge in their fields who solved my issues. I am grateful for Acibadem to regain my trust in the Dutch healthcare system.

    I have just arrived home after a surgical procedure, which I don't even know if it will be successful. I wanted to leave a review anyway, because the place looks really amazing and with top equipment. I was helped by doctor Ivo ten Hove, which not only was super clear in explaining the procedure, but was also a very kind and supportive person during the procedure. I was a bit scared and I had tears flowing down my cheeks from the pain, but it made me feel secure being in the hands of the doctor which gave me also emotional confort during the procedure; I appreciated that more than anything else. However it will go (I need to do a check up and see how it will heal), my experience with the clinic was very good. Thanks doctor Ivo ten Hove, for being such a nice, kind and professional person; people like you make a difference in an organisation like that.

    Looking back a week after my surgery, I can only say it took abit long to get to my actual diagnosis, however once my assigned specialist discovered the pain I was in, things rolled out pretty fast till the day of surgery. Upon arrival at hospital for surgery, the surgical team worked within 30mins preping me for the operating table. Can't forget doctor Herman🤩 a very funny person and Max the evening nurse who basically CARED for me the moment his shift begun.He was literally there every moment I needed him. I didn't have to ring the bell. It's like we communicated telepathically. He noticed someone just out of surgery and gave me all the care I needed that the other females nurses didn't even try hard to do. The nurse who discharged me was also kind and helpful. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. All in all ACIBADEM can be a place to recommend

    Great dental surgery experience. I have two wisdom teeth removal surgeries, both involve horizontal growth which necessitates drilling. But it was over in 10 minutes, with minimal pain afterwards and that I don't even need to take all the painkillers prescribed.

    I've been coming to this clinic for a year now due to a issue with my feet. I've always had a pleasant experience with the staff - specially in Radiology and the Orthopedic nurses that prep me to the surgery last year. But today was out if the ordinary, in 30min I had a X-ray (one very nice lady that even greeted me on my native language), an appointment with a new doctor and the treatment I needed. The doctor was so caring that she even changed the size of the needle when I mentioned I was scared of needles.. Drs T. Van Strien, I am so grateful for the appointment and care today. Got her card to make sure I save this name for future appointments and share the word, great experience!

    Nice hospital, very clean. The admin staff did not arrange correctly my appointment, and I was not scheduled in the system when I got there, however the receptionist and the doctor clarified everything in 5 mins and made time for me. The doctor was extremely nice and empathetic, he dedicated a lot of time to listen to my case, ask questions, perform a physical examination, explain the issue and next steps. I felt very reassured and confident I was in good hands.

Contacting them via e-mail doesnt help. I have seen butchers that treat their products better than they treat their patients.

    I had a Discectomy operation last monday at Acibadem medical center and it went very well, doctors and nurses and everyone was super nice! Everything was clean and tidy, also the follow up was very good. Everything went fast, between appointments and the operation. I have a phone call appointment soon with the doctor. I’m giving 5 starts because it’s well deserved! Thank you! Im also amazed by the number of negative reviews, where is this coming from? Chill people lol

    My overall experience with the orthopedist appointments and the surgery was very positive, but the invoices and admin afterwards was an absolute nightmare. It is impossible to get help and proper understanding being in between Acibadem and the health insurer. They dont answer the phone and are not helpful at all via email.

    I don't understand Dutch so the receptionist tried to translate the consent form and barely translated two questions and filled it out herself. Little she knew that i noticed that she marked the wrong option for me that i corrected that i do not want any newsletter form you. The radiology department receptionist was kind of rude as i asked her if there's any assistant present with the doctor as I strictly prefer female. To that she sarcastically replied that I did not like at all. Then she asked my date of birth and last name. And told me to wait to have leg MRI or so. WTH! she was having a wrong patient and wrong details on computer. Atleast they should have some sensible people handling this sensitive information for not mixing up two patients together. When the assistant called me for the ultrasound, there was wrong patient information again and she sent me back to waiting room. All i was observing that they have alot of miscommunication and wrong patient information. Why don't they just train their staff well who are doing blunders Infront of patients. Doctor was nice but i think it's part of ethics to explain what are you gonna do touch and test/procedure. She didn't. Anyway, it was an overall okayish experience and j am not happy because it costed me a lot for hardly 10 minutes of ultrasound. 145 is a lot! Too pricey.
