Well organized and really decent patient care. This is one of the best hospitals in the South of Netherlands. They can deal with a lot of issues right at the polyclinic. The hallways are clear and clean and the service is very professional.

I feel bad today, I’m vomiting blood in my wallet every half hour, I’m shaking with a temperature of about 40, I called an ambulance, none of them showed up, I went to the hospital in IKAZIA myself! I was kicked out the door, they didn’t even provide first aid, the guards took severe assault. I photographed the faces of these two guards and tomorrow I will sue the staff who used their hands and who simply refused to even look at me.

I got an appointment from Oral surgery depertmant (Kaakchirurgie) within 3 weeks in fact it was stated 2 weeks in their website. There is a serious problem. They are not sharing your inspection results (x-ray) even if it belongs to you. They are extremely rude and unhelpful when you request your results. I find it so strange they claim they have a policy not to share your documents digitally with you. on the other hand they are ok to send you poorly printed version of x-ray which is unuseful. This is why I have to have another x-ray and be exposed to x-ray radiation next time when I visit my dentist in my hometown.

If really need help in Neederlands, don't go to an hospital. You will be sent home unless you have an appointment, like anyone plans an emergency like being with temperature of 40.5º celcius and rejecting medicine.

A good hospital

Rediculous dutch Health Care System and terrible hospital. After an operation in Ikazia (the second one, the first one in the same hospital failed to cure my case), I had a discharge cable getting out of my back. I called them to ask how can I get a new bottle for the discharge fluids, and they gave me only one option: I have to get a cab, pay 100 euros to go there and back (after having an operation 3 days ago, with the cables protruding from my back) and get the bottle. After calling again and again when the bottle was getting full, their final answer was, "that's how it is, either you or someone you know has to come here and get the bottle"....So, if you are foreigner that you do not have any help, DO NOT go to this hospital...they suck...

I wast here in the first aid with 41+ degree temperature barely standing in my feet with my friends help, they ask me if I drink paracetamol and that I need to call my GP, maybe they can examine me but will cost 385€. It’s good that my friend didn’t wait any longer and call a cab right away. I get in front of the hospital and I blacked out, later I understand that my brain almost got damaged because of the high fever and waisted time. This is ridiculous to waste the time of person that is almost unconscious in the first aid, I had money, what I didn’t had was time and strength to explain myself. So if you by any chance have emergency or no money you die outside, my country is maybe poor but if you go to the first aid you get help no questions asked and you don’t need to pay anything. You go to the first aid when you are helpless, not to have a chat with the assistant. I pay every month 200€ health insurance, I pay every year 10 000€ belasting and this is what I get back for being a honest man and paying my bills. 💸

Very pleased with the cardiologist unit at Ikazia. Appointments are always on time and staff friendly and professional.

Their emergency, it's not really emergency at all,only wasting time,they will only send you back at home,without any check or first aid help.Only chatting with assistant it's not emergency hospital. SUCH A SHAME and waste time to come with shaking legs and high fever ,only to send you back at home and drink your paracetamol. DUTCH HEALTHCARE IT'S THE WORST.

My daughter was recently born at the Ikazia and we were very satisfied with the facilities and especially the care, knowledge, experience and kind attitude from all nurse staff at the Moeder and Kind center, all doctors who were present at the OK and our surgeon gynaecologist. We are happy to say that our daughter was born at the Ikazia and that she and mom received excellent medical care. The food quality was very good too. The one aspect I would like to suggest as improvement is that there really needs to be an internal pedestrian access from the parking to the hospital, same as there is for staff and doctors. It's quite inconvenient to make patients walk outside (in the rain, cold, wind?). Overall thanks to the Ikazia hospital for our excellent experience......... Mijn dochter is onlangs geboren in de Ikazia en we waren zeer tevreden over de faciliteiten en vooral de zorg, kennis, ervaring en vriendelijke houding van alle verpleegkundigen van het Moeder en Kind centrum, alle artsen die aanwezig waren op de OK en onze chirurg gynaecoloog. We zijn blij te kunnen zeggen dat onze dochter in de Ikazia is geboren en dat zij en moeder uitstekende medische zorg hebben gekregen. De kwaliteit van het eten was ook erg goed. Het enige aspect dat ik wil voorstellen als verbetering is dat er echt een interne voetgangerstoegang moet zijn van de parkeerplaats naar het ziekenhuis, aangezien er een voor personeel en artsen is. Het is best lastig om patiënten naar buiten te laten lopen (in de regen, kou, wind?). Met dank aan het Ikazia ziekenhuis voor onze uitstekende ervaring.

I had surgery again in Ikazia. What a great hospital it is! Top care! Catering top! Communication great! Minus: parking very expensive!

Went in for an ECG. Everything from checking in to finding the cardiology department was smooth and easy. I went on a weekday afternoon and didn't have to wait for the examination. Examination was quick and professionally done. Had to wait about 20 minutes for the results. Plenty of seating in waiting room. There was a help-yourself station with beverage dispensers for coffee, tea and chilled water, free of charge. Results of ECG were sent to my doctor, and I was also handed a print-out. Results were verbose but very clear and professional. All in all great experience.

I got there with a fructured toe. All employees were very helpful and nice. Thanks to that I didnt have to stress too much.

Experts in caring , excellent medical treatment and very nice nurses . I am aclient in Ikazia since 1999 and until now , I am happy with the civilized behevior of all the staff .

Ikazia was my first choice and I gave birth there (it wasn’t a planned birth). I was open to pain relief so Ikazi seemed to have it all, but I didn’t end up using any, but they give you the choice and don’t try to force it not even when you scream from top of your lungs 😂 It was amazing, everyone super welcoming and nice. It’s not crowded and nurses and doctors responded quick when they were needed throughout the whole birth that took 14.5 hours and even after (there were 6 other couples in active labour at that time) They have nice birth rooms with big bathroom. Also very clean, gave even towels and all essential hygiene products and even more. They have birthing stool/ball whatever you want you can try. Nurse helped me all the way until we left the hospital. Food was also nice and they don’t try to rush us out the hospital. It was my choice if I want to stay the night or leave the same day. They even showed us and explained all necessary baby care since the kraamzorg couldn’t come till later. We are a mixed family (Hungarian/Nigerian) we both speak English and another point worth mentioning is that there was no any form of discrimination or racism during our stay. Honestly best experience I could of asked for ❤️❤️❤️ forever grateful for the lovely staff there.
