Great café in Breda.

This continues to be a great bar. I used to hang out here in my younger years, the place have been refurbished it seems. Still an authentic “bruine kroeg”

One of the best bars in Breda. It is located in the center next to the famous church. People working there are really friendly and are always there if you need anything. Shout-out to Georgie and Anja

Popped in cause I heard some live music. Great execution but couldn’t stay too much. Looking forward to come back. Appreciated the bartender’s knowledge about PowerPuff girls. 10/10 will come again

Ordered fries (which were excellent), but no cutlery or napkins, no coasters for the drinks either. They had terras-heaters, but they were not on. New furniture, but the tables were too high for the seats. Glasses had a funky smell. Service was friendly, but not very attentive and quite slow. Reasonable pricing and very nice location, but over all would not recommend this place.

Interesting crowd and interior, most importantly food, especially wraps are fantastic!

Walked in randomly while exploring Breda and immediately made friends at the bar. I learned some Dutch customs while enjoying some good Dutch beer and had my first "brown bouquet" with frikandel, bitterballen etc. I would give this place five stars except I had to take one away because the parrot is dead. However I gave back the fifth star because Casper was super friendly and took my side in a debate about being "direct" and encouraged me to try bicycling in Amsterdam even though I am afraid to get yelled at. 11/10 would recommend.

Very nice place to relax when visiting the city. Adjecent to the "Big Church" this location is perfect, and dispute this, prices are one of the lowest we found in Breda. Nice, sunny outdoor seating and the good beer selection (please try their own beers) make you come back.

Good cafe with bourgoundian atmosfeer

When in the center of Breda, while I have to wait or just want to enjoy my time, they serve nice beers and friendly, helpful servants...

First drank there summers of 1976/77. No cigarette smoke now and I miss the Parrott. Still a good pub thought.

Attended a venue here some time ago. Quite a busy day, but their staff was amicable, calm, and courteous. The Napthta Rwanda Coffee Russian Imperial Stout was phenomenal! (Limited edition from Brouwerij Halve Tamme.)

Really bad service. After ordering drinks, we asked twice to order food but no one returned to our table. We waited for over 30 minutes after we decided to leave and ask for the bill. The waitress who first served did not even bother to bring us the bill. Instead a colleague had to come.

Ah yes the place to go for a good drink with friends. It used to be the place to be for the bikers etc. Nowadays it's a great place for everyone. You have seats, peanuts and drinks.... And boardgames if you dabble in that kind of thing.

Lukewarm beer with way too much foam. However, it was served very courteously. We had a brief dialogue about French surrealist painters in the 20th century. All in all I was impressed by the conversational skills of my waiter, but not her drafting skills.

One of the best pubs in Breda. But please, repair the main door, to make sure it is closed automatically....damned, it's Winter!🥶🥶🥶 (Never fully closed)
